Take It to the Bridge was an incredible band, and I would absolutely recommend them for a wedding. They did an excellent job from the grand entrance through the first dance and thr...
oughout the reception. Our guests loved them, and they brought so much energy to the dance floor.
I am rating them 4 stars because a meaningful surprise I had envisioned for our wedding unfortunately did not happen. I had coordinated with the venue, Take It to the Bridge, our separate cocktail-hour violinists, and our day-of coordinator for the band’s brass instruments to join the violinists at the end of cocktail hour and play two transition pieces as guests moved from outside to inside.
I chose to have separate violinists play during the ceremony and cocktail hour. Our Silver Package included DJ services during those portions, but Take It to the Bridge confirmed by email that the brass section could join the violinists for the planned transition at the end of cocktail hour. Despite confirming this in advance and being on-site, the transition unfortunately never happened, and I’m still not sure where the communication broke down.
Because this was a moment I had been looking forward to for so long, I was disappointed that it didn’t happen and that disappointment stayed with me throughout the evening. That said, Take It to the Bridge was fantastic, and their reception performance was a major highlight of our wedding.

They played the Hora, kept the energy going all night, and somehow got everyone on the dance floor—including guests we never expected to see dancing! They were so much fun, incredibly talented, and really made the celebration feel like us. We couldn’t recommend Take It to the Bridge enough!

When the wedding came we had bad weather so the pressure was on the band to make sure the dance floor was always full and they delivered! Everyone loved Take it to the Bridge and there was never a lull in dancing!

We also had them perform during our cocktail hour, and it was one of the best decisions we made. The live music created such a fun, elegant atmosphere and was the perfect way to kick off the celebration.
Once the reception started, they absolutely exceeded our expectations. They had every guest—from our youngest family members to our oldest relatives—out on the dance floor all night long. The energy they brought was contagious, and we've had so many guests tell us how amazing the band was.
If you're looking for a talented, professional band that will keep your dance floor packed and create an unforgettable atmosphere, Take It to the Bridge is the perfect choice. They were truly one of the highlights of our wedding day!
Take It to the Bridge played at our wedding, and they were nothing short of phenomenal. From the moment guests arrived, the trio set the perfect tone during cocktail hour. Elegant,...
fun, and beautifully performed. Later in the evening, the full band took over and turned the reception into an unforgettable celebration.
One of the things that meant the most to us was their willingness to learn three signature songs that weren’t originally in their repertoire. They performed them with so much heart and talent that it felt like those songs had always been part of their set. It made the night feel uniquely ours.
Our guests are still talking about how amazing the music was and how much fun they had. Take It to the Bridge didn’t just play at our wedding, they elevated the entire experience. Truly a night to remember!
Highly, highly recommend!

ht long - my husband and I couldn't sit in our seats to finish dinner because we were so excited to get up and dance the second the live music started. The vibes were impeccable. Their voices are so, so good and we love the incorporation of the horns - it really takes the performance up a notch! We booked with Greg and he was wonderful to work with - so friendly, quick to respond and helpful with any questions I had throughout the wedding planning journey. Having a live band was so important to us and our guests have not stopped raving about how great the music was. We had guests dancing that I've never seen on the dance floor at any other wedding. The MC services were killer - they even agreed to play piano for our cocktail hour as a special add on at our venue. We love TITTB!!!

They kept our timeline perfect and everything on track. On top of that the music was insanely good, all our guests at the wedding just talked about how good the band was and how much fun they had. Could not recommend Take it To The Bridge more if you are looking for a wedding band and tons of dancing!!! They truly made our day special.

On our wedding day, we encountered a couple of timing challenges with the catering and venue, but Take it to the Bridge truly went above and beyond. They handled the situation with such grace and flexibility, adapting quickly to the changes and ensuring everything stayed on track. Their ability to keep things moving and stay calm under pressure was a huge relief and made all the difference in creating the perfect day.
And let me tell you, the music was absolutely incredible. Guests are still talking about how amazing they were! If you’re considering a band for your wedding, I highly recommend attending one of their shows to experience firsthand just how fantastic they are. Their energy, talent, and ability to get everyone on the dance floor are unmatched.

All of our guests can’t stop talking about how awesome the band was, including one couple who is now planning to decide on their wedding date based on TITTB’s availability! o then hopped on stage and slayed the night! Planning a wedding can be challenging, and the music is KEY to an incredible night and Take It To The Bridge exceeded all expectations and left the guests in awe. Today, multiple days later, I am overwhelmed by the messages I have received praising them! My uncle, who is also a professional sax player, was even able to jump in and play with them. They didn’t mind at all and enjoyed his presence, which made the entire family so proud and excited. Thank you to Greg for his amazing coordination and communication, and the rest of the group for partying with us and crushing the evening! We will never forget the “stage dive” for the rest of our lives 🥰

guests dancing the entirety of their set list. Huge props to John the MC for his energy and awesome attitude. Also, Greg was extremely professional, prompt and easy to work with as we communicated on many occasions leading up to our wedding day. of the best investments for our wedding and we are so glad they were a part of our big day. Greg is extremely responsive and answers all questions. The rest of the band is very friendly and professional! The set list is sure to please everyone and they know how to get everyone up and on the dance floor. We have had multiple guests ask for their contact information to host future events! Check them out locally!! They play at several different venues throughout RI. Best $ spent. Also recommend having the acoustic guitar duo for the ceremony, plus the acoustic trio for the cocktail hour, in addition to the full band for the reception. It was 100% worth it. For any future events, we will definitely book them.

ccommodating for the scheduling. Greg and the team were very organized and responsive
- John - the emcee made a point to get details of peoples names and get speech givers organized. He really went above and beyond to make sure all was accounted for in the ceremony
- From playing the ceremony itself, to the cocktail hour, and the reception the band was amazing. I would 100% recommend that comprehensive package because it made the planning process even more seamless and they played it perfectly in each moment of the day.
-The band itself brought a ton of energy and kept everyone dancing all night long. From the trombone & sax to the on point vocals and song selection the band really overdelivered.
- TITTB also learned a few new songs for the key moments and did an incredible job playing them. This helped us give us some freedom to make the setlist & dance selection our own.
We will be sure to check them out around town. Thank you TITTB for a very special night!

d a phenomenal job of getting everyone pumped up and ready to party and the rest of the band kept the energy going all night long. The band even learned 3 songs for us that they didn't already know how to play (which was hard to find because they know so many songs already). Greg, the manager, was extremely responsive and professional to all of our requests and questions. As soon as the band started playing, the dance floor was packed until the very end. Weeks later, people are still telling us how awesome the band was. We really cannot recommend Take It To The Bridge enough!

what we had in mind for our wedding, it felt like perfect mix of concert and wedding and party. Also the trombonist was amazing, they did such a great job with the song we asked them to learn for our first dance and I loved their song catalogue. Nothing felt cheesy or forced at all. Overall, I feel like they played such a big role in making our wedding everything we wanted it to be.

add their own flair to the songs we already all know is just so unique and groovy. John’s energy is fire!! He pumps up the entire room. Greg’s guitar is out of this world. And don’t get me started on Christyn’s trombone. Every guest will be impressed with her trombone energy. Everyone thinks they love a sax until they see Christyn play the trombone. So Impressive. Guests left our wedding so joyful and happy after TITTB’s performance. They are amazing people and an amazing band. So professional and fun and the communication with Greg was amazing. Quick and easy! They handled the audio for the prelude, processional and recessional and did an incredible job. For someone who wants to make sure everything is timed out perfectly I didn’t have to worry about a thing. I am so glad that we live locally and can see them play at bars all around RI and that the wedding wasn’t the last performance we get to see. Thank you to everyone even to the audio guy Matt. You all made our day sound and be incredible and absolutely unforgettable. THANK YOU!
Wow!! Talk about the most AMAZING WEDDING BAND EVER. My husband and I had take it to the bridge on block island at the Sullivan house. A month later, guests are STILL reaching out ...
to tell us how incredible our band was and asking where they can go to future shows!! From management, to the sound engineer, John the MC, and the band as a whole was nothing short of extraordinary. Just 3 days before our big island wedding we had devastating news a speech would not be able to happen due to illness. Our guest recorded his speech, emailed it to the band, and the engineer downloaded and played the speech effortlessly. Take it to the bridge was incredible with our guests- including them in music dancing, having my husband and I on stage dancing to close out the wedding. They provided us and set up all ceremony speakers, microphones, ect. Even prior to our wedding Greg the band manager always welcomed us at shows, and stayed in constant communication with us up to and after our wedding. Truly the most amazing wedding band in the world. John the MC was incredible- checking in with us when/who we want announced, first dance, entrances, everything. After an over the top performance, my sister booked them immediately for her wedding next year. Do not hesitate- TITTB makes your wedding one guests will NEVER forget. Thank you TITTB for everything!
Best, Kim and Phil

ery email I sent (and there were many), and hopped on the phone to discuss details anytime I felt like we needed to. Not one thing was missed from all of our conversations. I genuinely felt like they made the challenge of planning a wedding ten times easier.
On top of that, they are so wildly talented!! They learned multiple songs for us which made our whole evening feel extremely personalized. My dad, who adores live music, was completely blown away by them, and I am not kidding when I say that they had EVERYONE on their feet... everyone!! They timed all of the various cues perfectly and made sure that my husband and I were wherever we needed to be for specific songs and breaks throughout the night.
All that to say: hire this band. They are incredible. Your wedding won't be complete without them. Thank you TITTB for making that night the coolest backyard party our neighborhood has ever seen. You're the best!

John was awesome as our MC- he checked in with me often to make sure the night was going as expected. The whole band kept the energy up the whole day- even in some extreme heat! My only regret is the night wasn’t longer- a dance party with TITTB is one you don’t want to miss!! Thank you all for making our wedding a PARTY!

Island band. Our wedding was at our home and thus had it's own unique circumstances to work through to ensure everything went according to plan. Greg (the band's manager) was amazing to work with through all of our planning. We came to our home for a site visit with all of our other vendors and worked great with our planner.
To say Take it to the Bridge delivered on our big day is an understatement!!! The jammed the entire night and had everyone on the dance floor from their first song on! You can feel the energy of the group and how much they enjoy what they do. At one point a couple of them were down on the dance floor with us!! So many of our friends and family commented on how amazing they were during the wedding and so many followed up with us after asking for more details on them and sharing how great they were! We've gone in seen them twice since they performed at our wedding less than a month ago. If you are local to Rhode Island make sure you follow them on social media as they play around the state all the time!
If you're looking for a high energy, talented, fun band for our special event you should contact Take it to the Bridge ASAP. They will delivery that and much more!

TITTB made our special day even more memorable, from the first song to the last. We couldn't recommend them highly enough!

he band even learned three songs for us including our first dance song. This was so special to dance to live. One of the best parts about booking with TITTB is their well thought out entertainment packages. These packages include the ceremony musicians, microphones, cocktail hour TITTB Trio music, MC, DJ services, and reception performances. It was so nice to book this and know that everything would be taken care of! They made it so easy.
Greg, the band manager, was amazing to work with. Very professional and responsive with emails and calls. Greg made it easy for us to build a timeline for the entire day, and the group did an amazing job executing everything. It was seamless! Jon, the MC, also did an incredible job keeping the night on track and introducing dances and speeches. His energy and enthusiasm was great!
All of our guests are still raving about TITTB as we hadn’t been around live music in over a year due to Covid! TITTB killed it! We loved having them a part of our day!

bands perform and run weddings, and the level of professionalism, attention to detail are far superior with Take it to the Bridge, PLUS the actual performance and execution are completely flawless. We could not possibly have been happier with our choice, they surpassed anything we could have asked for in all categories. It will be the best decision you make when picking your vendors.

They learned 2 Phish songs and 1 JGB song for the wedding and crushed them. I first saw them at my buddy's wedding two years prior and knew we needed to get them up to Maine - best decision we made. They even slept in one of the cabins and were super chill the entire time.
Their walking down the aisle music was good too - but the party is where it was at. Almost everyone said it was the best wedding band they had ever seen and some people requested their contact info. I hope to catch these guys at another wedding in the future or just a gig somewhere in New England - they rock in every aspect of the word. Love these guy - best party ever.
