Laurie's way of setting up the tasting was so cool--she allowed us to taste our cake, filling, and frosting options in every combination with a scorecard, making the process fun and allowing us to make just the right choice for every element. Laurie's wedding cake made it clear we made the the right choice for our special day. All of our guests commented on the wonderful cake. From the taste to the cake's aesthetics, from Laurie's responsiveness to her reliability, everything about our experience was exceptional. We found our wedding cake so incredible that we asked her to recreate it in miniature for our 2-year anniversary.

I worked with Laurie E and she was very responsive to all my communications and answered my questions in a timely manner. I sent her pictures and provided specifics of how I wanted my wedding cake to look and taste. I am very picky when it comes to cakes and icing as I don’t like super sweet icing at all. Laurie took my feedback and incorporated some of her own expertise and created the absolutely perfect wedding cake. We received numerous compliments from our wedding guests on the taste and appearance. We didn’t have 1 piece of cake left at the end of the night. Even the bride/groom cake got eaten. I am so thankful I chose Take The Cake to make my wedding cake and I would highly recommend this bakery no matter the occasion.
