Absolutely horrible customer service. I ordered an expensive cake for my daughter which they spelt the name incorrectly. It is also not what I asked for. I asked for white buttercr...
eam and the cake is yellow and brown. It looks like baby poop. When I told them this they asked me to come back to fix it when I need the cake for a party today and I don't have childcare to go back. And their response to me when I said I have kids is that "they do too you can figure it out" so nasty and horrible. I'll Never go there again or recommend them.
I walked in and left my order with the owner. It was for a white and gold 12” round wedding cake . She never called several days prior to pick up like she said she would . When I s...
topped in the teenager in the store confirmed my order and said I’d get a call. Nobody picks up when you call the phone number listed. I shouldn’t have paid a dime for this order, however she just discounted the price . I was in shock when I picked up the cake. Thank goodness the bride is so laid back and didn’t let this ruin her day. The cake was delicious but the customer service is so lacking and so very disappointing. I’ve used this bakery before but will never go back or recommend them again. Will give my business where the cake is both delicious and the service is reliable
I ordered a three tier chocolate wedding cake with ganache and inside had chocolate mousse. This was one of the best chocolate cakes I have ever had and I am a huge fan of chocolat...
e! It was very smooth. You can tell that there were all natural ingredients as they advertised. I also like that the cake wasn’t too sweet. Not only was it delicious, it was gorgeous too. I sent a photo as inspiration and asked for adjustments. They did not disappoint. I cannot thank Take The Cake enough! The cake was a hit.
I ordered cheesecakes for my wedding and Gina was absolutely fantastic to work with. Bonus - the cheesecakes were delicious! I can't stop thinking about how good it was, possibly b...
est cheesecake I've ever had. Gina was flexible and worked with me to make my idea work within the food safety guidelines in place for COVID. The pies were pre-sliced and put in individual boxes and topped with a variety of tasty toppings. Did I mention how tasty?! And Gina even accommodated an extra chocolate cake for my Grandma's birthday that I added at the last minute. I'm so glad Take the Cake was recommended to me, and can't wait for an opportunity to go back!
Nancy is AWESOME!!! Our cakes were SO DELICIOUS and beautiful!! So easy to work with, and even make extra goodies for us to accommodate diets. I 100% would recommend .
Take the Cake did an amazing job on our wedding cake. Everyone said it was delicious and it looked beautiful. When I went for the tasting, they gave us a bunch of different cake sa...
mples to take home and enjoy in the comfort of our home, which was a nice way to savor each one and take our time deciding on the right one. They were so easy to work with and I would most definitely use them again for an event.
Our wedding cake from Take The Cake was perfect! Everyone loved it and they decorated it exactly how I wanted. They only use butter cream to decorate the cake but that is exactly w...
hat I wanted. The amount of cake that they give you to taste is huge, we got to truly try the flavors before picking ours, which we chose white choc. mousse and choc. raspberry.
The cake was not only tailored to us and amazing, but the service and kindness we received every time we went to the shop was wonderful!
Usually wedding cake is nothing to write home about, but in this case it was. My family uses take the cake for birthdays so I was already aware of the quality of their cakes. I m...
et with Nancy who was wonderful and easy to work with. We were having a nature inspired wedding and wanted a birch tree cake design, they took the picture I had brought in and tailored it to what we wanted with perfection! The design was perfect and the cake tasted wonderful. They let us choose a different flavor for each tier of cake and sent us home with several samples after our first appointment. Another really great thing about this bakery is that on your one year anniversary they bake you a free cake so there is no need to save the top tier. No complaints at all!
When I got engaged, we had an engagement party. There was no question where we'd get the cake because my family has been going here for years. When we served the cake, so many of m...
y fiance's family came up to me and said that this was the cake we "had to have at our wedding, or they wouldn't come"!! We had 3 flavors for our wedding cake - all were absolutely amazing. The cake was GORGEOUS!! Simple, fresh, and more or less - perfect. This bakery comes highly recommended - (try just one bite of the white chocolate mousse cake, you'll understand)
