Take the Leap Entertainment deserves a round of applause!! Where do I even start. When my husband and I were planning our wedding, we had 3 main requests in mind when looking for a DJ. 1. Someone who was a strong emcee and could run the reception with ease and keep everyone entertained. 2. Integrate my husband’s culture by playing Arab music throughout the reception and for the grand entrance as a dabke group performed. 3. Keep the dance floor alive!! Corey took on all of these challenges and more and absolutely blew us away. We had the most fun and packed dance floor all night long, and Corey took all requests with grace and incorporated them with ease into his set. He took on the challenge of playing music he had maybe never heard before, and had so much fun with it! We got so many comments from guests on how fun our dance was and how great our DJ was. From the moment we booked until the final song, Corey was on his A-game and we knew we were in amazing hands. So organized, fun, and energetic. He also had so many amazing touches, with custom lighting throughout the venue and a CO2 cannon all included. We truly could go on and on. THANK YOU COREY!!!

During our reception, he periodically would check in on both of us to make sure we were doing good & if we needed anything. When we first started the wedding planning process, we weren't sure if we wanted a DJ or not. (What were we thinking?!) We went to the wedding show in January where we got Corey's information. We decided to meet with him and after that we would we make our decision. We knew IMMEDIATELY that we wanted to work with Corey and have him be a part of our day! You can tell how passionate he is with his work and that shined through the whole time we worked with him. Corey made the process fun and enjoyable which was important to us because wedding planning can be SO stressful! He went above and beyond at every meeting and between meetings--texting us to make sure everything was going well and just to check in! Then the big day came...We truly do not know what we would have done if we didn't have Corey there that day! He helped coordinate the whole day and made sure not only that we had timelines, but our parents did too! The place looked amazing with his setup and the uplighting he did! The music sounded FANTASTIC and if you are thinking of doing a vow voiceover--100% DO IT!!! It was one of the best parts of the day! Corey is SO professional, funny, caring, talented, and all around a great guy! He even made sure to check in on me and reminded me to take breaks and elevate my feet when I could. (I'm 7 months pregnant, so this meant SO much to us!) We cannot recommend him enough! We truly feel like we gained another great friend through this process and we can never thank him enough! We will never stop recommending him to family and friends! Thank you again Corey! YOU ARE THE BEST!!!

COREY thank you a million times over! You seriously killed it and we hit the jackpot having you as our DJ. You really know how to make a wedding fun. You knew what to play when, you knew how to keep us on schedule and limit the rare, if any chaos that there could be! Thank you thank you thank you!! It’s been just about a week since our wedding and my husband and I are still running on a major high from our amazing day! Much of that is thanks to our amazing DJ Corey! He had been suggested to us by my MOH and after some research we decided that we wanted to meet with him. We weren’t but 10 minutes into the conversation when both of us knew we had to have him. Not only is he the most genuine, relatable, and FUN guy; but you can also feel the passion he has for the job. His professionalism, attention to detail, and care for making sure you have the perfect day as a couple is totally unmatched. He made us feel so important; personalized everything to us, and made sure we had nothing to worry about. He also makes it an absolute blast for guests in keeping them entertained and included throughout the entire evening. We got many compliments on our day; one of the biggest being Corey as our DJ. I'll be honest, I didn't think the DJ mattered much when I began wedding planning until I had a phone call with Corey. He mentioned all the things he does that you just don't think about, and I second guessed myself. Thank goodness I did! I told my fiance, and he reluctantly agreed to meet Corey because he also said we should just go cheap on the DJ. Well, one meeting was all it took. We got up to leave and in the middle of my sentence telling Corey we'd get back to him, my fiance interrupted and said just "sign the papers babe, the whole deal, he's it." My fiance couldn't stop talking about this meeting during the rest of our wedding planning. It was what he was most excited about, our DJ and the games he had planned. Corey did not disappoint. He's organized, thorough, thoughtful, helpful, and hest of all, loves his job, and that shows. Corey, you were truly amazing at our wedding. We can't thank you enough for all you did. After meeting DJ Corey at my sister’s wedding a few years ago and then seeing him again at our family friend’s wedding, we knew he would be a part of ours someday. When we got engaged he was our first vendor booked once we determined our wedding date. He makes you feel like his only clients and that his attention is always only on you. Corey walks you through what to expect throughout the days leading up to your wedding day, the wedding day itself and is willing to answer any questions you might have. He put together a schedule of our entire wedding day and gave it out to our family and wedding party to make sure everyone was on the same page. Corey made sure everything we wanted to happen at our wedding, happened. We can truly say we don’t think our wedding would have turned out how it did without him. We have and will continue to recommend Corey to everyone who is getting married. He is truly the best!

Corey was an absolute JOY to work with! If you are looking for someone who is experienced, organized, and will go above and beyond to make your day personalized and run smoothly…then he is your guy!! Everything Corey did for us was SO personalized from the wedding trivia, to the love story, to our personal vow voiceovers. We had many, many people come up to us saying they had never been to a wedding that was so personal and had never been so entertained! The shoe game with our parents and the garter dance off were a HUGE hit! Corey is a type A planner, such as myself, and really goes above and beyond to make sure everything will run smoothly from discussing how to hold the microphone with speakers to calling and working with other vendors to confirm a day of timeline. Hands down - Corey was the best choice we could have made to be our wedding DJ! Yes, he charges a bit more than other choices in the area BUT worth every single dollar. My now-husband and I both agree and can confidently say that he is far more than just a DJ. Corey goes above and beyond to incorporate such special moments throughout the night to make it so memorable. Though we didn't opt for it, he offers an extremely special vow voice-over that plays over/during the First Dance. He writes a unique love story that he reads with such passion and excitement right before the first dance. Many of our guests are still talking about our Love story weeks later! That was one of my favorite moments as well! Before the dance even begins, Corey helped us with organizing who gave speeches and when, where to stand, had a super fun trivia game to keep people engaged during dinner, and gave us a lot of options/alternatives to the glass clinking for kisses! We had guests come up and tell a story. This option brought lots of laughs and "awwww"s through the room! My mom thought he was amazing - and she is one tough critic for anything and everything! ALSO Corey had my 71 year-old grandma on the dance floor all night long... no joke. I think that says everything and more

Corey just did our daughters wedding this past Saturday and he did the best job I have ever seen a DJ do! Personalized, non stop fun and music everyone could dance to! Do not look further for your wedding day, this is who you want!!!!!

Where do I even start? Corey was made for this! We had the honor of having him DJ at our wedding, but he is so much more than just a DJ. I am still receiving compliments and phone calls about how great he was and what an amazing time he made it. Before we even finalized a wedding date I messaged Corey to make sure he was available for the day we were hoping. (We were not getting married without him!) We based our wedding off of his availability, thats how great he is!! I have had the honor of knowing Corey since highschool and couldnt stop talking to my fiance about how wonderful he is. We didn't even make it through our first initial meeting with him and my fiance was sold. We booked and paid right then and there. This is Corey's passion and it shows. He is one of a kind. He puts his heart and soul into every single wedding and event he does. He takes the time to get to know you as a couple and individually and personalizes your day to fit you perfectly. One of the things that makes him stand out from the rest is the weight he takes off of your shoulders. We knew we had nothing to worry about and we were in great hands. We filled out our forms, attended several meetings both over zoom and in person and he handled the rest. He even coordinates with the church, venue, photographer, wedding party, host couple, parents and wedding coordinator the day of to make sure everything runs smoothly. He made a timeline for us, the wedding party and our parents to make sure everyone was on the same page. His attention to detail and organization is impeccable. He ran the entire reception and did so perfectly. My absolute favorite part was the vow voice over! My now husband and I recorded our vows individually with him at our final meeting before the wedding and he mashed them together and played it as the intro to our first dance. It couldn't have been more perfect. We can now replay it every year for our anniversary and that is a gift that is priceless. He kept every person who attended our reception entertained from the very second they arrived to the last dance of the night. The games, trivia and love story made the guests giggle and stay active all night. We cannot thank Corey enough for all the hard work he put into our night to make it extra special. He is so great. It was perfect and we are forever grateful. He is a Godsend.

Corey was one of the first vendors Nick and I met when we started wedding planning. After a few minutes into our initial meeting, we knew we needed to book Corey. We could tell he was so passionate and knowledgeable about his work and would make our wedding day perfect! Corey was very descriptive in explaining his pricing and services that come with each individual package. He knew what we wanted for our wedding even before we even did! Corey was also very helpful in the months leading up to our wedding. He was proactive in setting up follow up meetings, provided accessible and editable online forms and created a detailed day of schedule to coordinate with the other vendors and our families. On the wedding day, he delivered everything and more! In the morning, he was able to set up the up-lighting and a video monogram to fit our venue and vision perfectly! He also personally provided, Nick and I and our parents the schedule and was available for questions and flexible with modifications. He also made sure to check in with us and our parents throughout the reception which was truly appreciated! During the meal portion, the trivia and copycat kiss game were a hit! He also made sure that the bridal party and parents knew the order of speech, so everything went smoothly. During the dance portion of the reception, the love story and vow voiceover were amazing! We also cannot stop laughing about the musical chair game and dance off. The music he played had people dancing all night long! We have received so many compliments how organized and fun our wedding day was. We promise that you will have no regrets if you book Corey! We cannot thank him enough for making our wedding day AMAZING! 😊

We had Corey as our DJ this past weekend and there isn't a thing we would change. After meeting with him the first time we knew we needed him! We both looked at each other and said "we need to book him right now before someone else does." Corey got to know us as a couple and personalized every detail for us. He had everything organized and we never had to worry about making sure something got done because he already had it taken care of. He stayed in contact with us through the night to make sure we didn't need anything else and the dance floor was literally packed the entire night. If you’re looking for the best DJ for your wedding then Corey is your guy! Corey was the DJ for our 8/21/2020 wedding and there truly are not enough positive words to describe the type of person and entertainer that he is. From his infectious personality to his organization, our wedding ceremony and reception went by without a single problem and Corey is a large part of why it went so smooth! My now husband and I met Corey a couple weeks after getting engaged to inquire on pricing and what he could offer and during that meeting Corey was so informative and also took time to get to know us from our careers and individual personalities to our lives as a couple. We walked away from the meeting in absolute awe of him and decided that same day that we wouldn’t want anyone else to be the DJ at our wedding. After that day Corey kept in touch for the months following until approximately three months prior to our wedding we began the ceremony and reception planning forms and meetings. Corey’s forms are detailed and allowed for us as a couple to choose what we want. When meeting with him before the wedding we were able to ask questions and get suggestions from Corey. Each meeting went so great! Our wedding ceremony and reception music, games, trivia, etc was ALL PERFECT! Corey provided us with a timeline and talked to us throughout the reception so we knew what was going to happen throughout the night. Our guests were actively involved and we had multiple people at our reception tell us how wonderful Corey was. He made our wedding something that we will never forget and our guests will never forget and for that we are forever grateful to have had Corey as our DJ and as a friend. Corey was phenomenal. From first meeting with him. My fiance and I knew we wanted to book him. Corey is so down to earth and is willing to go above and beyond what you expect from a DJ. He took the worry and stress away from me on the biggest day of mine and my fiance's life. He is so accommodating and is willing to throw in different ideas. All I kept hearing during my reception was your dj is amazing . Corey not only planned mine and my fiance's ceremony and helped with the music for it. But he made our reception worry free. Corey is amazing at entertaining the guests . He was up on his feet the entire wedding reception helping my guests choose songs and keeping the games up beat and fun. The best part was at our first meeting he set the tone for how the entire wedding would go. At our second meeting we got to personalize the entire wedding day from the beginning of the day to the reception at the end of the night. We even had Corey come to our rehearsal dinner to help set up. When we booked with Corey we gained a great friend and an amazing dj. Trust me when I say he truly was spectacular . I was so very pleased with how he interacted with each and every guest. My favorite part was when we got to personalize everything from the music to our vow voice over for the first dance and the love story. When you hire Corey you gain a trusted friend and Dj. We can’t say enough about Corey!!! He is an amazing DJ! He makes all the planning fun and more enjoyable! He basically helps you plan your reception and has a typed out time line for the head table. He really helped eliminate a lot of the stress. Corey is very personable and just all around a great guy! We had Corey for both our ceremony and reception. Truly, made every moment special. We even had to deal with on and off rain the day of our wedding and our ceremony was outside! For the reception, He gets the crowd going from the being to the end! The entrance for the wedding party was so fun and they all love it too! Honestly, I think I only left the dance floor to use the ladies room and my sister offered to pay him more to keep the party going! And not only was the dance just a blast, but all the wedding games were fun too. Matt and I loved the “love story”, shoe game, kissing trivia, and the hoot of a dance off we had for the garter! Corey - the man, the myth, and the Legend! Corey entertained one my groomsmen’s wedding two years ago and I knew then that he was my man. Corey was really one of the only things I told my wife I wanted - “You give me Corey and the rest if the day is yours.” We met with Corey in January and luckily got him booked the same day. The most important thing that both of us didn’t realize is that we also booked a wedding coordinator. Not a single aspect of our day was overlooked and every second went down flawlessly. Corey is hands down the best DJ we could have asked for! As a couple, about to get married, we sat down and thought about what was most important to us in terms of our wedding day and we both agreed that no one really remembers the decorations or the speeches or the food, but they do remember the party and how much fun they had. He kept the evening moving, organized, and best of all exciting for all of our guests! Corey wasn’t just a DJ, but he was an MC, game show host, dance instructor, event organizer, and so much more! From the comedic grand march that he helped put together, the fun games we played, teaching everyone to wobble, the love story, and not to mention the beautiful uplighting and monogram, Corey made our wedding reception one that we will never forget! All I heard from our guests was how fun our wedding was and how impressed they were with the DJ! Corey was the first DJ we met with after we got engaged. Corey was also the last DJ we met with because we knew we didn't need to look any further. He blew us away. He was super polite, fun, and personable. He shared his own experiences from his wedding and it was almost like we were there just from the passion and detail he described it in. We could see he cares deeply and really has a passion for what he does. We had a few more meetings with Corey and he laid everything out in detail and helped us along the way. He added special touches to our wedding that made the night so memorable. These memories included the kiss lip synching game to the vow voiceovers. I would like to start off my saying that one of our biggest worries when we began planning our receptions was booking a good DJ. I have been to weddings in the past where the DJ was not good and people were leaving by 9pm. When my wife and I found Corey at Take The Leap I was immediately put at ease. From the very beginning of the planning process once we book Corey I was very impressed with his professionalism and attention to detail. He was very thorough in gather information on the age and demographic of our guests and what type of reception and dance we were looking for. When it came to the big day Corey did not disappoint. His games and trivia during dinner were a big hit. He got the dance started at the perfect time and kept the dance floor packed all night. I have received compliments from everyone that attended and have had many tell me that it was the best wedding dance they had ever been to. Trust me when I say that Corey is the only choice. I knew I wanted Corey as our DJ, so my husband, Kody, and I actually didn't waste any time shopping around. (Side note: Corey is married to my cousin and their wedding was the BEST wedding I had ever been to - until my own of course! But I knew that if this guy's own wedding was amazing, his standards for the weddings he DJ's would be just as high) Honestly though, Corey is not just a DJ. He is an organizer, time manager, scheduler, mc, entertainer, public speaker---he is everything you need him to be from the second you meet with him for the first time to the second your cocktail hour starts. Corey is an all-around professional and has so much knowledge and advice to offer, trust me he is your guy! Kody and I have received SO many compliments on our wedding and we owe so much of it to Corey. He is so passionate about making your wedding the most epic party all the while being completely stress-free for you, your spouse and your family. At last I just want to share a little story for some insight into how amazing Corey truly is. In one of our sessions with Corey, we discussed the music and if there was anything special we wanted played, specifically if Kody wanted to do a groomsman set. Kody briefly mentioned how in every one of his family's weddings, some one would alwasy request Dragula and similar requests would follow and his family would just go nuts. Well Kody never actually got around to making an exact groomsman set for Corey to play, but when it came time for our wedding dance, someone did in fact request Dragula. And Corey, remembering that 5 minute discussion several months ago, played it and without hesitation went into a complete set of "heavier" songs for Kody and his family. It's something he pieced together completely on the fly, just because he knew the type of music that Kody normally listened to. So I will say it again, Corey is the only choice when it comes to picking a DJ.
