Important Message: Officially a BREAST CANCER SURVIVOR!!!. This past spring I was diagnosed with Stage I Breast Cancer. It was a moment that forever has changed my life. No one can ever prepare themselves for what's to come in the journey you are about to be faced with. With numerous testing and a DMX in following months later, I found my self in a state of disbelief. Being a single mom to an incredible 5 year old boy, you worry about the road ahead. Being able to provide as well as the possibility in addition to having to step away from one of my biggest passions. It's IMPORTANT for me to address that during that time, my communication with clients did fall short and I take full responsibility for that. However. there was not a single wedding that was cancelled, or event impacted during this time period. I am more than proud that I was able to push through for my incredible couples and out fourth some of my best work. Though it does not make up for giving some clients a scare and perhaps adding unwanted stress, I do apologize that effects were felt by some as a result of what my son and I were being faced with. I am blessed to announce that I am CANCER FREE and able to continue to build such a love for this business. I can stand with confidence that measures have been put in place should anything of this nature ever arise. THANK YOU, to all of my couples for their amazing support throughout this time. Some of which became more like family with prayers and words of encouragement. My gratitude is endless. To future couples, Thank you for your consideration despite what may have been a shortcoming during that time. I hope to have the opportunity to make your wedding, a vision you will never forget. in a different state, Talana was very reassuring and even gave many great ideas to help our vision come to life. The florals were absolutely beautiful and she helped us stay within our budget! We had already fallen in love during our tasing, but our guests absolutely loved the cake! Talana is truly gifted when it comes to both baking and design. wildflowers with minimal roses, and kept emphasizing eucalyptus. Our bouquets, although pretty, felt like they missed the mark, and the arbor felt slightly bare with just two patches of florals then just greens. The roses also had some dead petals we were picking off before going down. There were hints of eucalyptus and wildflowers but roses were definitely the focal. We also asked for the tables to be filled with eucalyptus in the center pieces and it felt like just leaves and loose flowers in the middle. Our wedding planner actually came up to the room while we were getting ready and said she dropped off flowers early and left before ceremony even started and was panicking saying there were very few flowers around. Some strands here and there. I hate to leave the review bc again, Talana was very friendly but I unfortunately felt really disappointed on the day and I wouldn’t want that for other brides. Just made sure you know exactly what you’re getting and it’s really set in stone and I think she’d do great.

beyond to walk through our vision, she was accommodating when we had lots of questions, and I can say when she showed up day of with our wedding flowers, my jaw literally dropped at the sight of them. She did such a wonderful job and I got compliments all day and night. When people told me "These are the most beautiful wedding flowers I have ever seen" I simply agreed because I felt the same way! w this from the start but there was a lack of communication for weeks/months during the wedding process that left us wondering if we needed to search for a new florist. In the end, we did feel some floral details were missed on the wedding day [arch was incorrect, no cocktail table tie backs among other small things that were communicated and agreed upon]. Maybe this was the exception due to the difficult circumstances she was going through at the time, but for me, I just can't give a strong endorsement based on my experience.

ation and being delayed. I understand that, in turn that put couples in a stressful situation and with unwanted feelings. For that I am sorry. As far as the day of is concerned let's address some of which you mentioned. The arbor did in fact have to change due to the one discussed being damaged. The arbor itself was an element you were not charged a rental fee for and in turn we offered some suggestions that we paid for, for usage. We do apologize for that mishap but did our best in proving an alternation option. Cocktail tie back were not placed on the cocktail tables because the linens ordered by your venue were not long enough. When drawing the linens, the cross base of the table was completely exposed creating a rather unpleasing look. We did in fact make your day of coordinator that you hired aware of the situation. In turn, there were also nearly double the amount of cocktail tables present vs what you were invoiced for , and we provided either additional greenery and candles or bottled floral for those, at no charge. We were given more bottles by the mother who made them and filled those also free of charge. Greenery was added to the memorial table complimentary as well as a piece for the bar. We were made aware that the sashes for the chairs were not found, although left. If there were addition items that you felt were missed, we would have hoped to have been made aware of that day of by your coordinator giving us the chance to return and fulfill. We ran though a list to make sure all items were well accounted for before leaving the venue. Regardless of such, we are sorry that your experience wasn't up to your expectation and can use this to improve how things are handled in the future. We wish you and Rachel the absolutely best in the future. Congratulations on your wedding!

ing party florals, I couldn't stop staring at my bouquet. It was the most beautiful bouquet I had ever seen. Walking into the venue later that day, my husband and I looked around in awe. Everything looked so whimsical, romantic, and soft - exactly what we wanted, and so much more. I can't tell you how many compliments I received on my flowers at my wedding. In fact, the priest that married my husband and I, who has been working for 40+ years, said that our bouquets were the most beautiful he's ever seen. ssful. Communication was a nightmare for us! We didn't hear from her until 36 days before our wedding, and that's because we reached out to her. We scheduled a phone call to talk about why we hadn't heard from her prior and she explained her case, which we appreciated. Our in-person session to pick floral designs was pleasing. She even treated us to lunch as an apology, which was a very nice gesture. Following that interaction, communication was still an issue. Bummer! We had to keep following up about the final floral plan. She didn't send it or complete it when she said she would, which was a disappointment. We didn't receive our final floral plan until the day the final payment was due. We did appreciate that she communicated that the venue changed the ceremony location due to the weather. We would recommend using her services if you are flexible with planning details and communication.

florist. Unfortunately, trying to work with her in the months leading up to our wedding was a very stressful experience for me as a bride though. Communication was lacking even up until the final 2 weeks. Expectations were often set but then not met. For example, I asked for an updated COI and it took 3 months and multiple unanswered emails and texts to get it, even after being told multiple times I would get it the next day. She told me she would check in at a certain time and then I wouldn’t hear anything. I think it comes down to what you’re okay with handling. Having a coordinator may help as this person would be able to help keep you and Talana organized together. I personally had to hire one to help in the final month and I am very glad I did. Overall, I was happy with the end result and the price point and for that would recommend hiring her, though you or your coordinator will most likely have to lead communication unless something changes.

Every single floral was absolutely stunning and the bouquets were so full. Talana is so talented that she is really busy and has a lot of events going on, which means communication in the months leading up to the wedding can be sparse. But the few weeks and days before the wedding she is on it. You just need to trust that she has it handled, because she does and the florals will be perfect!

n. My only critique is in the area of communication. There were times when I would have to send multiple emails or texts to get a response. I'm sure planning a wedding during COVID when everything was shut down contributed to this, but as a bride not hearing back from vendors in a timely manner can be stressful. In the end, I am very happy that I selected Talana as our florist. She really did help bring our dream wedding to life. :)

venue. We had a specific idea in our head of how we wanted our wedding to look and Talana leaned into our magenta English garden theme and delivered beyond our expectations. In addition to being so talented with design and florals, Talana also created our cake and a beautifully delicious donut display. Our guests did not stop talking about the wonderful donuts and cake and we received so many compliments on Talana’s work. If you are planning a wedding, go with Talana for both your florals, wedding cake and desserts. She is amazing.

through the planning and postponing process. When our day finally came I was nearly in tears with how beautiful our florals were. My bouquet + venue florals were everything I could have dreamed of- 'Nailed it' doesn't even cover it. Talana also helped us with a dessert bar that doubled as our "doggie bags" and favors. The desserts were such a hit and absolutely delicious. I loved getting selfies the next morning of our guests having cupcakes and donuts for breakfast. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making our day so special!

Not only was she within my price range, but she was also willing to listen to all my requests from the flowers I would love to have to the ones I didn’t want to have at all. Throughout the 18 months we were preparing for our wedding (yes, in the height of COVID), I was able to meet with Talana several times and her enthusiasm was greatly appreciated and loved given everything the whole world was dealing with. As we approached the home stretch, and wedding season was again beginning to pick up, I was always able to check in with her to make sure everything was in order. st how passionate she was about her work and how much of an overall effort she was going to put into our big day being what we imagined it would be. We met with her in person closer to the wedding to finalize details and we adored being able to check out the little shop she had. She made everything very easy for us and always kept the budget we had in mind which was super important. The day of the wedding, we were able to chat briefly but Talana was busy setting up the dream arbor that I had envisioned. It was everything I could have ever hoped for. The florals for the wedding party, my bouquet and all our parents florals were beautiful. I walked into the reception and was able to see the amazing work she did with the minimalistic centerpieces on top of the wood slabs we provided. If you are looking for a florist for your wedding in the PA area, I could not recommend Talana more. She is such a pleasure to work with and extremely talented.

ith only 3 months before our wedding date. Luckily, Talana was available and was on board to work our wedding even though she already had a packed schedule. She completely understood exactly what we were looking for, and she made our venue look even better than we had expected. She let us use many of her own items, such as candles and a cake stand, and she let us return them to her after our honeymoon. She also let us do a take-home cake and donut tasting (it was take-home to stay safe from COVID-19), and she let us try out so many different cake, frosting, and filling options. We were very particular about how we wanted out cake to look, and she nailed it perfectly. She also gave us extra donuts and mini pies free of charge! Our guests kept raving over how beautiful all of the flowers and greenery at the wedding were, and everyone loved all of the desserts that Talana baked. I highly recommend Talana for all of your floral and dessert needs!

I was blown away by the quality of her flowers and her work and my whole family has her beautiful flowers displayed in their houses as they still look amazing days after our wedding! Her work is so modern and with the times and I am so so happy for using her for our wedding and gaining a true angel of a friend!

Then comes our visit with Talana. As soon as we started talking, we just clicked. She patiently listened to my fiance's floral vision. She offered insightful feedback and opinions. She was gracious and professional. She was highly informed and flexible. After our thirty minute meeting, we felt that we created a partnership rather than hiring a vendor. She instantly became a team player and did whatever she could to see our vision come to life. It wasn't just talk either. As charming and professional as she was, Talana delivered big time. Her flowers were exquisite. Each arrangement was like out of a fairy-tale garden. We were so impressed with her arrangements that I know for a fact that we will be recommending her to our network of friends for big events. My wife and I stumbled upon Talana by searching on The Knot. But we are so happy we took her meeting because she went above and beyond our expectations. And she can bake too! We haven't had the chance to eat her desserts, but Talana, we're ready for them!

ugh that she was able to do my flowers, reception table settings, and I can't forget my husband's favorite part which was the desserts. She was even gracious enough to have a second tasting for my husband as he travels a lot for work. I just wanted the ceremony/reception area to have the most beautiful little details but also simple. She made these long green trails of greenery down each table with accents of candles and flowers. My flowers were absolutely gorgeous along with all my girls. She was also able to create for me this beautiful green wreath that hung above the dance floor. Now I have to mention my husband's favorite part which were the desserts. From the cookies, cupcakes, pies (apple was my favorite), linzer tarts, and she even made black and white cookies for my mom. We had a beautiful naked caked which was accented by beautiful flowers. It was a three tiered naked cake with the bottom and top being chocolate expresso and the center tier being a lemon blueberry cake with lemon curd. Everything was amazing and it wasn't the head hurting too sweet type of desserts but everything was just right and I couldn't have asked for anyone better. The amount of care and thought that she puts into everything just lets you know how much she loves doing what she is doing. I know one thing. Any type of flowers I might need done or cake, I am coming to her. I wish I could add pictures to this review because she really does create beautiful things. <3<3<3

he week-of timeline and fitting in time to do the flowers, so I called Talana. Within the first 30 seconds of speaking with her I felt immediately at ease – a weight had been lifted and I felt totally comfortable with and confident in her. She was able to work with me and what I had already purchased/made. She was very flexible in the middle of a snow storm to keep our consultation appointment and for me to deliver all the items I had. She kept in contact with me to make sure that she would perfectly execute my vision, even sent me in-progress photos a few days before the wedding. Talana arrived with my bouquet on the day of the wedding and I knew I had made the right choice hiring her! They were stunning. Perfectly proportioned to me and the colors were beautiful – I couldn’t wait to get to the venue to see the rest! The ceremony arrangements were elegant and the centerpieces were stunning. Since Talana had used my centerpiece containers I was able to allow guests to take a centerpiece home and two weeks later, my guests are telling me the flowers are still alive! We got SO many compliments on the flowers and I could not have been more thrilled with Talana! She truly was my flower angel!

we did because hiring Talana was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. She did all our bouquets, centerpieces, corsages, ceremony decor, dance floor hoop, and more (all at a reasonable price!). I'm not super into florals, but the bouquet she made me brought tears to my eyes. Also, I made her job difficult because I wasn't very specific when I described what I wanted... however, she listened to the clues I gave throughout the process and she totally got my vibe. In the end, she knew what I wanted even better than I did.

She created the most gorgeous and fresh floral arrangements, bouquets, centerpieces, cake floral, etc. for a very reasonable price. She was easy to work with and responsive to our communications. On the wedding day, Talana arrived early to set up, and from that moment on, I didn't have to worry about a single thing, especially in 95 degree humid heat. We hired Talana Maria for both floral and cake and so thankful we did! She's a real rockstar!

The other highlight working with her is that she works within your budget. Before we found Talana other florists we were considering were extremely pricey. Since my own part in the planning process was limited, I really had to rely on Talana to make our wedding vision and ideas come true (something that required a lot of trust on my part considering I am usually controlling with that stuff).
