Talitha and her crew were nothing short of exceptional—professional in every way. My now-husband and I had never had professional portraits taken before, but after this experience, we’re considering doing it again! The entire process was fun, and the encouragement from Talitha and her team made us feel completely at ease on our special day. She provided just the right amount of direction for poses without being overbearing. The final results were excellent, everything we hoped for and more! She has an excellent eye for detail and sense of lighting. The photos captured the setting, people, and mood of the event! Talitha was incredibly easy to work with. Her team came well-prepared with all the necessary gear, and with two assistants, they went all out to capture every moment. It truly felt like she brought her A-game. She worked seamlessly with our wedding coordinator, Shelby (Shelby Your Day) and photographer Brad (Southwest Wedding Films). Though she and Shelby hadn’t collaborated before, their scheduling consultation was smooth, and they came up with great ideas to ensure the evening flowed perfectly. Talitha is so amazing, not only were we fortunate to find her for our wedding 9 years ago, we "gifted her" to our niece for her wedding this last fall. She puts so much care and respect into understanding family and friends dynamics, pre-planning, scouting, looking for every opportunity to provide amazing photos (weather, location, unique opportunities, ALL of the feels). If you are as awkward as we are in front of a camera you will appreciate her "ninja" style. Through the course of the event, she captured our REAL personalities, as well as quiet moments with family, goofy friends, special happenings. I think sometimes people under value wedding photos. DON'T. We have her photos on our walls they are such beautiful works of art. We get love seeing moments we never would have (because every wedding is a blur for the happy couple). And we get choked up seeing the folks who are no longer with us, as well as those who are now married themselves enjoying each other and our happy day together. I can say, especially on this last note, she went over and above for us when we had a loss. She is such a kind and warm human, you won't only want her as a photographer, you'll want her as a friend.

For the most part, I am a lifelong New Mexican. My favorite parts of living in the high desert is the way the light falls over the landscape and the long, uninterrupted views when you find the right vantage point. I love monsoon storms and big puffy clouds in the summer.

of our wedding. She was fantastic in detailing her style and how she shoots and meeting what our expectations would be. Her style of photography is absolutely gorgeous and very natural which is something we loved and wanted. I left a thorough about our engagement shoot already, so please see that. In regards to our wedding, she was there in a timely manner (we had hired two photographers). She never felt in the way. The pictures were absolutely perfect in capturing those when no one’s looking moments which we loved. Her photography team was onsite for almost 12 hours if not more, because I really wanted Talitha’s famous night photography which I highly recommend. Talitha is also able to capture us against the natural landscape so well with beautiful natural lighting. At one point, I was in my heavy wedding outfit and high heels, out on a ledge but anything for the shot ;D My husband and I and other family members were blown away by all the results. The wait time between our wedding and final products was less than a month for wedding photo previews which was great and perfectly timed for nostalgia and waiting sake and about 1.5 months for final products. I would highly recommend working with Talitha and her team. If another opportunity arises, we would elatedly work with her again! Thank you so much Talitha!!

time. She created a day-of timeline for us that was so incredibly helpful to get our day set up and made it easier to finalize details with all our other vendors. At the wedding, she arrived on time and prepared, and throughout the night seemed to be everywhere. Our bridal party and guests all loved her. She brought an assistant (whose name I forgot in the blur of the night, I'm so sorry!) whose extra lighting made so many of the etherial looks in our photos possible. Talitha also recommended our videographer to us who we loved as well, so she has great leads if you're still looking for more vendors to work alongside her. We had our wedding at Meow Wolf, which is an incredibly difficult/unique lighting situation, and Talitha handled it beautifully. We struggled to find NM photographers with any similar lighting in their portfolios, but we finally found Talitha's gorgeous nighttime shots and she assured us she could handle our venue. In addition to our lighting concerns, she also worked with us to slightly customize a package to better suit our budget and was easy to talk to about how we wanted her to handle specific difficult family dynamics that had a potential to impact the night (which they thankfully did not!). We're one week out from our wedding so we just got the previews back, and they're INCREDIBLE. I thought I'd be lucky to get 5 photos in an entire gallery that I love as much as I love every single preview shot she's sent. I can't wait to see the rest, 100/100 I would recommend her in a heartbeat, BOOK HER!

She was familiar with the venue and gave us tips and ideas about the ceremony I hadn't even considered. On the day of the ceremony she was a calming presence in the midst of the craziness there to capture every special moment. As if she was family or a close friend anticipating every need. Our sunset couple pictures after the ceremony was one of my most cherished memories from that day! She accommodate pictures our baby and captured bedtime despite our baby being overtired and fussy because she knew it was important to me. The pictures exceeded our expectations! Talitha traveled 2.5 hours for our wedding and even made the trip a week prior to meet with us and tour the wedding venue prior to the ceremony to ensure that everyone was on the same page. t photographers; but really we had looked at her from the beginning. My now husband had gone to college in Albuquerque with Talitha (Go Lobos!) and she loved cats. So clearly, she was going to be amazing. Although Dan and I met when I lived in Albuquerque (he was born and raised there, I am from Colorado), we had moved away and were living in Ohio. We always knew we would be back in NM for our wedding though and that we would need someone local to help make the most of the short time we would be in town for our wedding in October 2018. Talitha was SO GREAT-we had a number of phone calls prior to the day to discuss what we wanted, what was more or less important to us and to review all the details. She worked with our day of coordinator and our venue seamlessly; which was fantastic: planning a wedding from 2000 miles away is stressful. The day of the wedding she and her assistant were wonderful - neither my husband or I particularly likes to be the center of attention, but Talitha made it all so easy and so much fun! And then, at the end of it all, we got some truly amazing photos. There aren't words to describe how much I love the pictures we got from that day. I am already trying to plan another reason to hire Talitha to take more photos of us! I cant recommend her highly enough!

We really appreciated how at ease she made us feel and how adeptly she helped manage our time, ensuring we were able to get to all the locations we picked. Exactly as we'd hoped, we ended up on the mesa around the Rio Grande Gorge just outside of Taos as the sun was setting. Those are some of our favorite images -- Talitha captured all the untouched beauty, nature and spirit of that place that called to us from the start and endeared us to Taos forever.
