Based out of Jericho, NY, Tall Order is a clothing company specializing in socks and accessories for to-be-weds and wedding party members. This dynamic, family-owned retailer designs fashionable, comfortable socks in a wide range of sizes to fit clients of every shoe size. Co-founders and family members Lisa, Dan, and Mike Friedman all have professional experience in business and decided to combine their skill sets to begin an inclusive clothing company. At 6’9 and 6’11 respectively, Dan and Mike understand what it’s like to not be able to find anything in their size. To remedy this for themselves and others, the pair and their mother strive to create stylish socks that won’t sag or tear easily. The bright blue emblem on each sock they design symbolizes the Twin Towers and sky on September 11, 2001. After losing their father to the terrorist attack that took place, the brothers were inspired to give back to their community. Today, Tall Order is devoted to paying forward their father’s values and valuing triumph over tragedy. A portion of their profits is donated to Tuesday's Children as well as other nonprofits that assist those still dealing with the aftermath of the attack.
