Barn. Her eyes lit up, and from that moment, we were had a dream of a wedding in the pines. From beginning to end, Michelle was the ideal coordinator. She was communicative and reassuring and had everything under control! This venue is everything you could dream of in a rustic, outdoor wedding. Despite the rain on our wedding day, Michelle and the staff were able to adapt dynamically right up until the last moment, pulling off our perfect ceremony and reception. All of the staff were enthusiastic and helpful, and Ralph’s wedding feast was superb. Their well-established reputation and connections with many vendors in the Pocono area were incredibly helpful! If you envision a magical forest wedding followed by an evening of dancing, warm fires, and lively conversation, Tall Timber Barn is perfection! P.S. If you’re concerned about rain on your outdoor wedding day, don’t be. They’ve got it covered.

woods. The beautiful backdrop of the woods is simply breathtaking. I specifically communicated with Michelle during my planning and she is amazing. She was extremely responsive to all questions and gave excellent recommendations for our big day. We also had Heather and she made sure our wedding day went smoothly. Thanks to the amazing staff at Tall Timber, our wedding day was perfect. This venue is simply amazing and we both will look back on our wedding day and remember just how magical it was!

well. Having a rural and sophisticated design added to the uniqueness that was desired. The staff was attentive and flexible.

ly. My biggest concern from the start was making sure we had great food that also satisfied the dietary restrictions of myself, my wife & our guests. Before signing the venue contract we were assured the chef would have no problem catering to a crowd containing many vegetarians, vegans and some gluten free individuals. Upon invite to a group tasting (at an additional charge) I quickly asked what on the menu would fall under these specific requests and was told they would be working on the menu and would get back to me. Over a month later we got a simple response that asked us for our own specifics and ideas on what we wanted to eat and took this as a sign that we needed to pick something simple even if, at $95/head (before taxes & tips), I was grossly over paying for our ask. At the time I thought it would be a small price to pay to rest assured that we had chosen something seemingly impossible to mess up… and yet… they managed to completely fail at providing a simple TACO BAR. The biggest tragedy was that THEY RAN OUT OF FOOD and BLAMED IT ON MY GUESTS for EATING TOO MUCH. We RSVP’d as a party of 87 and on the day of only 79 showed - and about +/-20 people got into the dining service to find nothing. When asked where the rest of the food was the “chef” told my father-in-law that he was “just a gun guy” and that he didn’t actually cook anything on site, just heated it up there (even though, with a full kitchen on site, we were lead to believe on site preparation would be the case). The other massive misconception and deception was that we truly believed we were going to have quality food with fresh ingredients. We sure paid enough for it! Sadly the majority of it was frozen, canned and tasteless ingredients almost positively purchased at the local BJ’s. I specifically requested (and even made sure they put in writing in the banquet event order) “fresh sweet corn” & “extra sharp cheddar” and was still served canned corn and bland pre-shredded bagged sans-quality cheese. This was as much a slap in the face as when the “gun guy-chef” opened the fridge to show my father-in-law some hot dogs, what was left of the plastic store bought containers of pre-packaged guacamole and a little bit of chicken and rice offering that up as the only food left on the premises (aside from the deserts we had to provide ourselves). Until the day Tall Timber decides to allow outside caterers I encourage you to look elsewhere otherwise you may find yourself utterly embarrassed and feeling completely ripped off on one of the biggest and most memorable days of your life.
