e have different tastes so I figured I wouldn't like what he liked and visa versa. Boy was I wrong. We gave Judy an idea of what we like and don't like and she prepared the 4 most perfect samples for our tasting...and my hubby and I picked the same one! It was amazing and delicious. We did a two tier cake along with other small tarts, creme brulees etc. they were all unreal. All of our guests LOVED them. I highly recommend Judy with Tallant Cakes for your special day!
I hired Judy from Tallant House because of her French baking style. I lived in France for awhile and all I wanted was French desserts for my wedding. We did end up getting a cake...
, which I didn't thoroughly enjoy, but I am NOT a cake person. Hence the dessert bar idea. Whenever I stopped by her house, she always had something for me to taste- even if it wasn't my tasting day! She also will rent out plates for you and do delivery.
When I went back to her to give her back her plate rentals I mentioned that I only got one macaroon from the dessert table; she promptly gave me and my husband 4 more macaroons and a giant scoop of the custard from the passionfruit tartlets we had ordered. She includes a year anniversary cake in her pricing, but I asked for a mini dessert plate instead. She was very nice to work with!

e had 3" tarts for everyone at our wedding and they were beautiful! The fresh fruit/berries looked marvelous and the tarts were so much more refreshing than wedding cake would have been on that warm August afternoon. I ordered WAY too many but that's not Judy's fault at all. I wish we had been around the week after the wedding to stuff ourselves with all of those lovely left over tarts!!! Tallant House was wonderful and is probably the best match for you if you're looking for something unique, beautiful, and tasty too. Enjoy!
