They've even been known to replicate a family recipe if requested by a client. I also cannot speak more highly of their team. They employ some of the most hard-working event staff out there, who go above and beyond to not only care for guests but also assist our team with set up and tear down. On top of it all, the Mike is one of the most caring and thoughtful business owners I’ve met in the industry, which makes for a wonderful planning experience! Hire them!

or everyone involved. As soon as we made the decision, I reached out to Michael (the owner) and let him know and asked for a return of our $500 deposit. Michael returned 50% of the deposit, stating that the other half he was keeping because he "held our date, and he could have missed out on other business." Ok? Maybe, though doubtful, given the current raging pandemic. I accepted that answer even though it seemed far fetched and moved on. My mom then decides she is going to host a small bridal shower for me at her home, I thought oh maybe reach out to the caterer for the wedding he held $250 from the deposit. He might be willing to apply that to a few items for the shower, thinking this is a reasonable request my mother calls Michael - no answer. She calls a few days later, no answer. I call. NO ANSWER. I call again, no answer. I then send an email asking for this request, and I call and leave a voicemail. Michael finally replies to my email stating he will not apply the funds to anything else and he will not discuss it further. Michael met with us one time and we did an appetizer tasting. As we were scheduling our food tasting is when the pandemic started to peak so we canceled. We emailed a few times but ultimately never picked a menu or moved forward before making our decision. I would have been more than happy to even pay him something for his time and the appetizer if he would of agreed to talk to me; however he has just gone radio silent again. He is very unresponsive and, from my experience, unprofessional and unaccommodating during these very trying times. Unfortunately, my experience with this vendor has been far from pleasant, and I hate even having to write this review, but I think it's important for future couples to get maybe a glimpse into what I had to deal with and proceed with caution.

! We had some sweet potato 'pancakes' as one of our hors d'oeuvre that I am still wishing I could eat again over a week later. Everything was just as tasty at the wedding as it was at the trial; even the photographers said it was the best food they've had at a wedding! Mike and his team do an incredible job and I am so grateful that they were recommended to me.

Moreover, for the first time in my life I experienced the joy of waiters carrying all six pass around appetizers on a single plate during cocktail hour. Oh, the unmatched joy of not needing to hunt down a single waiter to find the desired delicacy. Then, there is the food. The late Anthony Bourdain ceased describing the taste of food on his show “No Reservations”, claiming that there was no point in dressing up the fact that the food was good with fancy diction. If Bourdain tasted the food from Tallulah he would be forced to change his mind. For appetizers we had meatballs, coconut chicken, sweet potato pancakes, spanakopita, and California rolls. If I was better writer perhaps I could describe the delectable crunch of fried coconut layered over perfectly seasoned chicken, or the way in which the taste of spicy meatballs linger on the tongue, or how the spanakopita reminded me of my grandmother’s house. But I am a terrible writer, so I digress. Tallulah is a one of a kind catering service and you would be a fool to use any other.

ey have always exceeded my already high expectations. They will work within any price range and create an innovative, delicious menu that has something for every taste. In addition to the incredible food, which gains attention from guests, Mike and Sean are beyond easy to work with. Attentive and prepared, they have handled any number of unexpected surprises with a grace that makes everyone around them feel calm. I would recommend them to anyone for any occasion.
