Our entire wedding was planned in barely over a month when we needed to move the date up by more than 6 months- I’m sure you can imagine the stress and anxiety. However, the special events coordinator (Loretta) and her team (including Tabitha) made me feel like everything was not only well in hand, but they took my joy as a bride-to- be to heart. The attention to detail was exceptional, from the selection of menu, to our ideas for the table set up, to our desire to have a bagpiper processional, right down to including our favorite Bible verse on the printed menus. Loretta was responsive, thoughtful, and proactive to a degree that I never felt like “a number” nor felt worried about my guests getting to have an elegant and once in a lifetime wedding experience (not to mention me and my husband!). Our evening wedding felt intimate and romantic. I will never forget entering the restaurant in my wedding gown, led by a bagpiper and on the arm of my son and having the entire restaurant burst into applause as I made my way to the BPC room. Despite the late hour of my arrival (after 7pm) Loretta was there, long after her time of clocking out—she was there to ensure the set up was perfect and to greet me as a bride. Just seeing her upon my arrival gave me such confidence that the evening would be perfect. And it was. There is not one single element that fell short. As a couple, our priorities were to have a romantic and intimate wedding followed by an unforgettable meal— the Tam O’Shanter delivered. The food was served hot, perfectly prepared to every guests specifications (including my dear friend who wanted the rarest of rare prime rib), and coupled with top of the line service by Alonzo and the rest of the wait staff. Our guests were warmly attended to in the manner you only hope will occur on your wedding day and a meal was served that made every guest glad to be in attendance (how often have we attended weddings where the food is only so-so?!). As a bride and groom, we were able to relax, enjoy our incredible meal, visit with our guests, and feel like a king and queen. As a family and couple, we have celebrated anniversaries and birthdays at the Tam O’Shanter and know intimately the quality of food and service—what an incredible joy to have that delivered tenfold on our wedding day. If you are looking for a place to have a romantic, elegant, and intimate wedding, this is the place. With only a few strategically placed flameless candles, simple white hydrangea centerpieces, and the white linens available for special events- no other decorations were needed- that’s how special the BPC room is! And bonus to your wedding pictures if you have a groom in a full kilt as I did!
