Tamara Kohno Photography

ds for groups shots quickly, arrange people for photos, and move everything along so smoothly. I would hire Tamara again in a heartbeat!

bride! Tamara is incredibly kind, helpful, and very accommodating. She asked thoughtful questions and was a joy to work with. Everyone at our wedding couldn’t believe how beautifully the photos turned out. She is truly talented, and we highly recommend Tamara for wedding photography services!

sked great questions so she could understand our overall vision. She was a ton of fun to work with the day of the wedding, and just as we requested, she directed us to where we needed to stand, and found creative ways for us to pose. She brought positive energy into our wedding party which we loved and she also did an incredible job of sticking to our packed timeline. She sent us our photos in under a week and they came out beautifully! We would definitely recommend Tamara for wedding photos, and we hope to book with her again for other smaller photo sessions.

with her was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!

ng seem easy and answered all of our questions quickly and thoroughly. On the day, she helped guide us through some key moments, and took stunning photographs. We could not recommend her more.

ng was very reasonable, and we received our gallery back very quickly. We were blown away at the quality and the attention to detail that she was able to capture throughout the night. Definitely recommend!

rized herself with the venue and overall vibe of the wedding. Tamara was the perfect blend of a professional yet personable photographer. She made the entire wedding party feel so comfortable, which allowed her to get very genuine, candid pictures. We will absolutely use Tamara Kohno Photography in the future and highly recommend her! Thank you, Tamara!

laughing, which really helped everyone relax. She's an absolute professional who captured the most incredible photos! Seriously, the pictures are breathtaking. She has a knack for capturing both the perfectly staged shots and those candid, in-between moments that truly tell the story of our day. We were also impressed with how well she worked with our videographer; they were a dream team! Tamara was super communicative throughout the entire process, from our initial consultation to delivering the final photos. I can't recommend Tamara Kohno Photography enough! If you're looking for someone to capture your engagement or wedding day, look no further. You won't be disappointed!

our wedding day perfectly. I highly recommend her.

hout us ever realizing she was there. She was great to work with throughout the planning process as well, answering all of our questions quickly and following up as needed. Tamara is a kind, professional person who put everyone at ease in front of the camera but was still able to wrangle our large extended families during posed portrait time with ease! When it started drizzling during our ceremony, she kept her cool and made sure we got the photos we wanted before the rain really started. Everyone commented on how cheerful and friendly she is, and we are thrilled with our photographs. Plus, she had great suggestions for where to take our engagement photos, and helped us find a beautiful place that wasn't even on our radar! She delivered so many photos on a great timeline (only a few weeks after the wedding) and we are so grateful to have worked with her!

all, during our ceremony and reception. The emotions of these moments were captured as well and we were thrilled when we received our gallery. She has a great talent for recognizing scenes that will make for great candids, in addition to staging the perfect poses for more formal portraits. We did not feel at any time that our entire day was directed by photos, which I have experienced at other weddings. Instead we had a great mixture of portraits and candids such that we were privileged with a laid back photo experience that also allowed us to enjoy our own wedding while delivering some truly incredible photos. Thank you Tamara!

or photos, but she was very clear about what she wanted us to do, put us in poses where she wanted us, and captured all the photos we needed so quickly! We received all our photos back in just 3 weeks, and they are absolutely perfect. Our dog was supposed to be in our wedding but ended up needing to go to the ER on our wedding day, but Tamara even offered to photoshop him into one of our formal portraits! Highly recommend hiring Tamara for your wedding photos!

vibe we wanted was captured perfectly, and every single special moment was caught. It was like she was everywhere at once. Our pictures came out absolutely perfect and the craziest part is we received them the NIGHT AFTER the wedding. Unheard of. We are so so happy with Tamara and would recommend her one thousand times over. Thank you thank you Tamara!!!

tion and felt like there was a solid plan for the day. Our wedding was outside, on a very cold day, and Tamara was both efficient and remarkable with her work! She was very speedy on getting the photos to us and we are so happy with them! We 100% recommend her for your wedding!

to work with us on the pricing to create a package that fit our budget. We were worried that we would feel awkward during our photos and Tamara made them so easy!!! We received over 700 GORGEOUS pictures only 10 days after our wedding. We are obsessed with them. Tamara even helped pick up some of the slack of our “venue coordinator” who was nowhere to be found. We have kept in touch with Tamara afterward our wedding and now consider her our close friend ❤️

esponsive while we were in the planning stages and very low maintenance on the day. She did an exceptional job and we couldn't be happier that we chose to hire her.

nd her to get the best shots, and overall a pleasure to work with. She is affordable and for the quality could charge a lot more (seriously Tamara you could!). We just got our wedding photos back in such a time effective manner and could not be more satisfied with the results. Tamara was with us every step along the rainy day and made sure every memory and family shot we wanted was captured. She is responsive as well through every step and hiccup the wedding threw our way. We are so happy to recommend her. If you are reading this and have any hesitancy, put it aside, she is a fantastic photographer! Thank you Tamara for capturing our day and look forward to working with you in the future!

e amazed at all of the angles Tamara captured. At one point we joked that some of the photo angles had to be taken from the ocean! We are so happy at how our photos turned out. Tamara was amazing to work with and so fun. Our wedding encountered some strong winds and rain- Tamara was so relaxed, casual and cool with all of the variables on the day of our wedding and still captured many amazing shots.

ck and so easy to work with. She starts with a call to get to know eachother a bit and make sure we’re all comfortable, and from there she would reply to any emails I sent with any questions. We filled out a form of all photos we wanted captured. Everything went so smoothly. She is so reasonably priced and so incredibly talented. And her work speaks for itself! We have already gotten so many compliments on how great all the photos turned out!

Tamara is and how patient she is; especially since we did extended family photos and one side of the family is significantly bigger. She was so patient while we got them all together! We are so excited to see how our wedding photos turned out!

from humid and very hot to it randomly starting to rain!! All my guest have commented on how amazing our photos turned out and home quickly we got them back!

engagement pictures, she was willing to meet us early in the morning in order to get the best locations and lightning, and was willing to go to two different locations with us in order to get all of the pictures we wanted. My husband and I are not always the most photogenic, but Tamara did such an amazing job making us feel relaxed and making the whole process so easy and fun. On our wedding day, Tamara beautifully captured all of our favorite moments as well as the small details that we otherwise would have missed. We were running a bit late getting ready before Tamara arrived, and she still managed to capture everything we could have wanted and more. She had a calm and organized demeanor, and was so efficient getting us through all of our photos. She was so helpful not only with getting pictures but with helping to keep me calm and focused on the right things all day. Tamara was so fun to work with. You can tell she loves what she does and wants you to enjoy the experience as well. She is excellent with communicating before, during, and after the event. She had our engagement pictures back within a week and our wedding photos back in just 10 days! She made a huge difference in how amazing our wedding day was and we couldn't have asked for a better photographer!

onal, personable, super helpful, and took the most amazing photos. Turn around time for photos were pretty quick and I just honestly could not be happier!

ly amazing. Her calm yet confident demeanor put me right at ease during a stressful wedding morning. She knows exactly what she is doing at all times and was so easy to work with. Her communication is beyond stellar which was so appreciated during the planning process. I was absolutely blown away when I received 1,500 edited and retouched photos from our wedding in less than two weeks! It just shows how much Tamara loves what she does. Tamara captured our day beautifully. She went above and beyond for us. We can’t thank her enough for giving us beautiful pictures we get to look back on for forever.

municating pre-wedding and made sure she had all the information for shooting locations, what I wanted shots of, just everything. The day of she showed up and was such a professional. She spent a very long day with us! She knows what she's looking for in a shot and location and I'm beyond happy that we chose her. Myself and my husband are not by any means regulars in front of the camera and she put us at ease and was great with posing us and getting perfect shots. We hired her with a second shooter and Derek was amazing as well! I wanted him for groomsmen pictures to start and the guys absolutely loved him! When it came time for the posed family photos Tamara really jumped into action and it was such a blessing. Dealing with 20+ people all hanging around chatting and trying to get different groups together for photos should have been a nightmare but Tamara somehow pulled out the biggest boss voice I've ever heard from such a small person and we breezed through the family portraits. My husband and I were so comfortable with her. She was amazing to have around. She was somehow everywhere at once. I never had to look for her when a big moment was happening, she just appeared out of nowhere. I didn't worry once that she wasn't getting the shot. When we recieved the photos (within a month!) we were over the moon. She captured absolutely everything. The photos are absolutely beautiful and we will cherish them forever. I have zero regrets about choosing Tamara to photograph our wedding. She is so sweet and lovely to have around. Her work speaks for itself. Thank you Tamara and Derek!

oy with a keen eye! The pictures do not feel posed and they are very organic feeling. I truly, truly love them! Commination was always very prompt. I can't recommend Tamara as a photographer highly enough!

n her a list of all important group/ single photos we wanted and she made sure that list was completed. Her expertise and guidance made sure that we finished the first look and bridal/ family portraits way ahead of the ceremony and had ample time to relax before the ceremony. She is a great communicator, fairly priced and would hire her again without a single reservation. Tamara is exceptionally talented!!

, knowledgeable, and kind. We knew we were in good hands. She asked for a detailed list of everything we wanted to capture and when we got our photos back we got all of that and more. We opted to do a first look and during that time she let us have our moment and captured some of the sweetest most candid interactions. It also allowed us time to get some one on one photos prior to the start of the ceremony. She had an eye for detail and even noticed a ladybug on my veil and shared with us a story of how it meant someone who passed was with us. This was one of the most memorable things that happened considering both my husband and I have lost a parent. We cried when we saw there was a photo of the lady bug taken when we got our photos back. During the reception she captured all of the little moments with our guests. There were so many great candid photos of pure love throughout the room that we shared with our family and friends. Overall, she had an eye for detail, captured everything we wanted and more, and we have beautiful photos to look back at. We couldn’t be happier!

d exactly what I wanted without a super long explication. She is a professional in every way and will make your wedding feel like a dream!

ogistically as a vendor and as a warm presence, allowing us to feel comfortable in front of the camera. -Less than one month (!) after our wedding day, we had over 1,000 pictures send to our inbox--all were incredibly thoughtful and skillfully done (no 'skips'). She captured every moment, posed and candid. We are beyond impressed at the turnaround time and the quality of the photos. Thank you Tamara for helping capture these memories so beautifully and masterfully. We cannot recommend her enough!

and then fiancé a little bit better and see what our vision was. She was personable and easy to talk to. Highly recommend!!!

bridal party feel at ease with pictures. She is truly amazing and passionate about what she does. I am so glad we chose her for our wedding!

f days after the wedding! I absolutely loved her and would recommend her to anyone!

tos. Definitely recommend!

the best photos and when it came to the posed ones, she was a huge help because my husband and I have no idea how to take a staged photo. She made it so easy and fun!! Thank you Tamara for making our day perfect!

asonably priced. The photos & album included in the package were amazing quality and we got all of our pictures really quickly (within a month). 10/10 would hire again.

. All of our pictures came out beautiful and her kindness and professionalism made our day so special!

ly done many weddings in her career and knew how to get everyone in line so we could get as many done in our small hour time allotted for photos! They came out great and she was super affordable!

shots we asked for; her signature style captured our day beautifully! She has an eye for capturing a couple in those candid moments others may miss, and it makes for enchanting photographs. She has a special place in our hearts and we plan on booking her for more special occasions as my husband and I continue to build our life together! If you're looking for a photographer/second maid of honor/forever friend-- get in touch with Tamara!!

our final pictures! I would highly recommend Tamara to anyone in need of a wedding photographer, you will not be disappointed! 🙂

vents and couldn’t be happier with our decision!
