Tamara Merri Photography

ied to all communications promptly. We are so grateful she traveled to Michigan to photograph our wedding events. Tammy did an excellent job of making us feel at ease throughout our wedding weekend. We couldn't love our photos more & are excited to have her design our wedding photo album. We also love the vector art she has created for us in the past! I am excited to work with her for future photo needs :) 12/10!!

special & attended to details I would've otherwise missed! Not to mention the stunning variety of photos we received back - truly breathtaking. I can't wait to continue to use Tammy for all of my big events for years to come - YOU ROCK!

te with and was extremely organized with regular check-ins and video calls prior to the wedding - and on the day of, she executed everything flawlessly! My husband hates having his picture taken and Tammy made us both (and the entire wedding party) feel so comfortable on camera. She provides direction, while also bringing her fun and playful personality. Our family and wedding party raved about Tammy and how great she was to work with. And most importantly, our wedding photos are absolutely beautiful. She captured every detail of our wedding day - I truly cannot pick favorites because I love them all! I love all the candid details and the emotion she captured throughout the day. An added bonus is that Tammy's turnaround time is amazing as well - she sent us a sneak peek within a day or two and our full gallery within 3 weeks! We are so so glad we worked with Tammy and could not recommend her more!

r to capture their most special moments. We worked with Tammy on both our engagement photos and wedding, and had the best time with her at both! She made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, somehow captured the amazing small moments we didn't even realize she was photographing, and also gave incredible direction in terms of where and how to stand/sit/dance. Our engagement photos came out AMAZINGLY, we couldn't be happier with them. Likewise, our wedding just happened, and she has already sent us sneak peeks that we are IN LOVE with. We feel beautiful in the photos she sent, and at the same time, just feel like us! We truly can't say enough good things about Tammy, hire her and you will be blown away!!! Also, we absolutely loved Katie, the second photographer Tammy brought for our wedding. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!!

alented and such a pleasure to work with! She captured our day in the most beautiful way and was so easy and fun to work with. Tammy is very responsive to emails and calls and put my worries to rest through the entire wedding planning process. I highly recommend Tammy if you're looking for someone fun to capture stunning photos!

supporting our ever-changing plans. Tammy communicated clearly with our entire team, and all of our vendors report that she was great to work with! She is genuinely positive and manages to share so much personality and energy, all while maintaining professionalism. She helped me to stay calm and focus on the fun throughout our day, despite the fact that we ran behind schedule due to unforeseen changes and issues with weather. Everyone in my bridal party adored her. The icing on the cake - her photos are phenomenal. Tammy will do everything she can to make your day the absolute best. Could not compliment her enough for her for her talent or personality! Thank you, Tammy!

l, bright, with excellent composition and quality, and attention to soft tones and ethereal lighting. Tammy does this with immense talent and care. We started with an engagement shoot, which began in a deeply wooded area near a beautiful, crumbling stone staircase. I was worried about the lighting being tricky / dark, but Tammy was SO helpful and absolutely on top of it. She even tracked the sun in Google Earth (I think that's what she used) to time our shoot properly AND get us out to a river for beautiful golden hour shots! For our wedding, I couldn't rave enough. We were behind schedule with the makeup and hair, but Tammy was completely reassuring, and she shifted her shot schedule around to better suit the new timing, communicating with me the whole time about the plan. There were a number of shots I really wanted at the venue, and she made as many of them happen as possible; in particular, there was one 'bird's eye view' shot from a dark upstairs closet window down to the ballroom floor, which is usually only possible with two photographers, but she went out of her way to make it happen for us. They ended up being some of our top favorites from the shoot, and honestly, so many of our photos top the charts as my favorite photos of all time. She is upbeat and friendly, sensitive and considerate, and knows how to find just that right balance of guidance vs natural moment when working with a couple. I will be forever grateful to her for giving us the gift of her talent, time, and care. Thank you Tammy! You are the best!

Wrapping up the call, I knew that Tammy was exactly who I wanted to photograph our wedding! She is bubbly and friendly, yet professional. Leading up to the wedding, she was easy to communicate with and she helped us with a timeline for the day to capture what we wanted. During photos, she helped us feel relaxed in front of the camera and the photos came out amazing! Plus, she's so much fun on the dance floor! We would absolutely recommend Tammy!!

le. She helped us put together a timeline and worked with our other vendors seamlessly. Tammy helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera and had our backs all day- even coming up with a makeshift fix for my ripped bustle! Our photos are amazing. It was really important to us to capture the real-life, candid moments and Tammy certainly delivered. Our gallery brings back all the feelings we felt throughout the day and really captured the essence of our wedding. You’re the best Tammy- thank you!!

of, she was there. Her love for her work and craft shines through!

eginning she goes above and beyond to make sure your day is captured beautifully. She was able to improvise when our timeline wasn’t on track and she turned the stressful moments into special moments. She is so professional, caring, down to earth, fun and makes you feel so beautiful. My husband is not the biggest fan of pictures and even him and his groomsman raved about how awesome Tammy made them feel during their pictures. The sneak peak pictures we received were absolutely stunning and I can’t recommend her enough. You will not regret hiring her and it will make your wedding day the best day ever!

ed us advice, suggestions, and was extremely accommodating. After moving our wedding date 3 times, Tammy we decided to get married at our own home. She came over, walked me through each area of my home and assured me that things would be just as perfect. She is so down-to-earth and easy to talk to. 5 stars for Tammy!

t makes you want to have her in your circle! By the end of our wedding night, my bridesmaids felt like they gained a new best friend. Tammy helped guide us in ways we would have never expected a photographer to – she is organized, confident and knows what brides (and grooms) need to help their big day go off without a hitch. It felt like the wedding had just ended and Tammy was already sending us sneak peaks to enjoy while we started our honeymoon. I would highly recommend booking Tammy (look to book her early – her schedule is a testament to her talent!). I look forward to the next time we (or our friends and family) need a photographer! Thank you Tammy!

se of the shoots and planning, she became more than just our photographer to us. She is incredibly talented, creative, knows what she is doing- and on top of everything, she is a ton of fun! Her personality will bring out the most amazing photos- it is the perfect mix of professionalism and fun. I can’t wait until the next excuse to have her as our photographer in the future. 5 stars isn’t enough! If you are looking for a photographer, she is the one!

ge when it comes to weddings and photography and was able to provide us with an amazing experience and amazing photos for a reasonable price. She really knows how to make you feel at ease and comfortable in front of the camera and find the best spots for photos. Our pictures were beautifully shot and edited and delivered to us quickly. We highly recommend Tammy, whether you are having a large traditional wedding or a small elopement, you will not regret it!

y. 2020 has been a year like none we've ever experienced. Residents of Georgetown, Texas, Tammy came to us by a friend's recommendation. Immediately when we contacted Tammy, she offered value by connecting us with our videographer, musician and make-up artist. Tammy's guiding assessment of our event's needs and wants assured us we were with a visionary team. Engaging with Tammy was simple. She maintained contact as the event approached and delivered on our wedding day. Tammy and her video affiliates teamed to lead (and comfort!) our families through the service. Tammy choreographed stunning photo locations and coaxed just the right emotions to maximize each moment. Tammy sent a sample of sneak peek images the night of our event which were perfect for sharing over social media! Soon after, Tammy delivered the complete album - storytelling images that exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Tammy for all of your photography needs!

photogenic person, but she made me feel comfortable and posed me so that we were able to get many gorgeous shots. She was so empathetic when we had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID, and she responded quickly to our calls and emails. On our wedding day, Tammy was organized and professional, and she had many great ideas for poses and shots for our wedding party. She even asked our families if they wanted any other photos before she left for the night (they loved this and thought it was so kind of her to ask!). Thank you, Tammy, for capturing the best day of our lives.

my was very friendly and down to earth. I love the photos that she captured and it was so helpful to have two photographers to help capture more angles on specific shots like the first look and the ceremony. Since the wedding, Tammy has transformed a couple of our wedding photos into Vector Art and it has been a fun way to repurpose some of our wedding photos. Tammy did a fabulous job and was super attentive to my questions and requests. Thanks so much, Tammy!

me out. 6 months later I still have family and friends raving about our AMAZING photos and our warm, bubbly, and professional photographer! Tammy was extremely organized - she had easy to use worksheets to help us think about what photos we wanted throughout the wedding day, and we had a helpful phone call leading up to the wedding day to discuss family dynamics, our visions for the day, and logistics. She captured all the photos we wanted expertly, and also captured so many other special candid moments. For example, our dinner service was right at sunset, so I had given up on the idea of getting that sunset kiss photo, but somehow the venue coordinator and Tammy managed to sneak us out for the shot!! Tammy fit right in to our day - she was present (she captured EVERYTHING!) but not obtrusive, enthusiastic but not overbearing, friendly yet completely in charge, and she facilitated everything extremely smoothly. Our whole family remarked how comfortable they felt with her throughout the entire day. I felt totally relaxed and confident in her abilities! I feel so lucky to have picked Tammy for our special day and could write a novel about how perfect she was. She has a great eye, and it was so hard to choose photos to print because we loved almost every single one! We will cherish these photos for our entire lives! Thank you Tammy!

will never be disappointed. Her bubbly, fun, quirky, humorous, calming, yet professional personality will make you at ease throughout this entire process. She gives you advice, resources and easy to fill-out templates regarding your wedding ceremony, needs, wants and special details that you want to make sure are captured. Your personalized portfolio makes it easy to stay on track. She made the time for us to meet at our wedding venue to do a walk through and made an effort to discuss specifics with our DJ and wedding coordinator. The day of our wedding, Tammy was an absolute Rockstar. She was professional, fun, nearly invisible at times to capture our special candid moments which is extremely important and was seamless through all of the transitions. Our professional family photos were organized and fast, they were done within 10 minutes so our guests and bridal party could go enjoy our happy hour. She had so many ideas for our portraits, in terms of locations, lighting, etc. and in that moment it didn’t both me a bit that we used our happy hour for pictures, cause they are some of the most beautiful pictures I have ever seen. If this review isn’t enough, her pictures speak for themselves. Not just ours, but hundreds of pictures we scrolled through of other events she shot. They’re absolute perfection and well worth the wait. Our online gallery was delivered to us in the contracted time frame and I have not stopped looking at them since. There is nothing I can think of that I would have wanted more in a photographer than what Tammy provided. I am so lucky to have been able to capture some of the most beautiful moments in my husband and I’s life and I have Tammy to thank for that. We will be utilizing her services for all future events!

2018 and after that session, we knew she was the one that we wanted to shoot our wedding as well! She provided the guidance that we needed in order to get the romantic, funny, intimate shots that we now love! Her communication, digital presence, and fun personality made working with her a true pleasure! I strongly feel that she listened to what was important to us and captured those special moments. Thank you so much for capturing our memories. Do not think twice when considering Tamara!

one in NYC) and has knocked it out of the park BOTH times. The first time we met Tammy, we instantly hit it off and felt extremely comfortable. Her energy is incredible and she has an incredible eye. She knows what works and will direct you if something isn't working - she makes you feel like your most beautiful self! I wish we were closer to Tammy so I could drag my husband all around and take photos every week because I love them all!!! She is the best and I would pick her over any other photographer in New York City! Make sure to book Tammy to capture your life moments. You will not regret it.

s - in the rain, no less! She has a natural eye for great photos and is as professional as she is sweet. She is absolutely lovely and I would gladly recommend her for your engagement or wedding shoot!

and her husband were equally photographed to highlight this special moment for them. Tamara made sure every detail and moment was covered!

of it. She's also very patient with those of us who aren't used to taking professional photos. She's punctual with editing and you get a lot of pictures! We hired her for our wedding and got our pictures only a few weeks later. Best decision we made all day was hiring her!

ing our NYE wedding this year! Tammy made us so comfortable & relaxed & honestly I couldn’t ask for a better person to be our photographer! We love you Tammy! Nicole & Joey <3

k location and gave us advice during our consultation. After the wedding so many of our guests commented how nice and kind Tammy was. Her photos came out amazing and I can't imagine having the wedding without her.

place taking photos, etc.. , but yet you hardly knew she was there at the same time., enabling her to capture the perfect moments. Tamara Merri Photography will make your special occasion memorable, enjoyable, and comfortable.

incredible!! My family is still (more than 2 months later) talking about how comfortable she made us, and how clear it was that she knew what she was doing. My family aren’t really “picture people” and she was able to help them all relax, and make them laugh, and really just integrate herself nicely into the day while still being professional. My friends also all felt that! Basically every single person at my wedding has told me how lovely she was! She was clear and concise in our pre-wedding consultations, and upfront about pricing/schedule/everything. She was (and still is) prompt at responding to questions. And we still chat over Instagram pretty often! Our photos are incredible! As a plus-size woman, I get nervous being photographed sometimes because I’m worried the photographer will highlight something I’m self-conscious about, or will pose me in ways to “hide” my body. Tammy did none of that. She made me feel beautiful and posed us in flattering positions without hiding anything about who I am/what I look like. She caught every moment I wanted her to capture and every photo came out gorgeous. She has a really great eye and incredible editing skills!! My husband and I are trying to figure out when we can hire her again! We might make it an annual thing. That’s how much we loved her and her work! I HIGHLY recommend Tammy!! She was really the best, most calming, joyous presence we could have asked for!

res. Every second of the day she made sure I was having fun, staying right on time(which she knew was a huge deal to me) and she was able to manage our families in such a fun, professional way. Leading up to the big day Tammy made sure to stay in contact the entire time, and answer any random crazy question I may have had. Not only was SHE amazing, her work was equally as amazing. I have had my photos for a little under a month now and I have looked at them almost once a day. I can not thank her enough for every single thing she brought to the table that day.

amazing! First we worked with her for our engagement shoot. She was so easy to work with and immediately put my fiancé and I at ease (we don’t normally do the PDA thing and I’m not creative with posing). I gave her a few ideas about my vision and she immediately got to work and let me tell you she nailed it! I was in awe of the photos. On top of that, she was very professional and truly cared about getting the right shot-no matter how long it took. I really appreciated her going above and beyond like that. I cannot WAIT for her to photograph our wedding. If anyone asks, my first recommendation is Tammy!

ure our personalities, as well as the beautiful moments. As we went through Tammy's portfolio, we couldn't find one picture that wasn't clear, vibrant and let her subject's personality shine through. We are SO lucky we found Tammy - she EXCEEDED everything we could've hoped and dreamed of in a photographer. She's a ball of light, joy, fun, and takes HECKA AWESOME photos! She took both our engagement photos and our wedding photos, and we're having such a difficult time deciding which ones to frame. Thank you Tammy for capturing us and our day in such a beautiful way!

pre-wedding planning process. She gave us the amazing photos we wanted and had an absolute blast with the entire wedding party. More than recommend her to anyone looking!

Tammy and her second shooter were ABSOLUTELY amazing and I couldn’t recommend them anymore. From the moment they entered my hotel room to the moment they left the reception. They made this experience so fun, relaxed, and natural! My family was very hectic during our family portraits but Tammy was able to rally them together and get the most perfect pictures! Tammy also had my gallery sent to me in the time frame that she gave me during our meeting. It’s been 2 months since the wedding and I still can not stop looking at my gallery :)

and I have already selected a handful of photos that will be framed in our new house! Not only is she a good friend of mine but a great photographer. BOOK HER ASAP! can’t wait to hire her for future occasions! ❤️

tress and enhanced the memories Of our daughters wedding. At the end of the night we honestly felt like she was part of our family. From scheduling, planning and execution, she was flawless. Hire Tamara , plain and simple.

fun to work with. As a bride and groom, you really don't get to enjoy your special day because everything is just so crazy! Looking at the pictures immediately takes us back to that amazing day and the love and happiness we felt. I would recommend Tamara Merri Photography a hundred times over to anyone looking for a photographer.

some of my absolute favorites. She actually takes really good pictures that don't need to be over-edited, which we thought was super important and really speaks to her skills as a photographer. I would 100% recommend her to shoot an occasion you have and I know she will do a spectacular job. Thanks Again, Tamara!!

make it come to life. She made me feel so comfortable during my bridal session and then again on our wedding day which made it possible to capture all those little moments between my husband and I! It is overwhelming to think about all the details and photos you want on your wedding day, but Tammy was so thoughtful and helpful in talking us through our options and listening to all our ideas. All of our wedding photos turned out amazing, but my favorites are the candid moments Tammy was able to capture throughout the night. Those photos are my absolute favorite! Tammy did such an amazing job capturing the love, joy and excitement of our wedding day, and gave us beautiful memories to cherish forever! We highly recommend Tammy for any photography needs...she is the absolute best!

ty made the photo shoot enjoyable and easy! I would definitely recommend Tammy to anyone looking for a photographer. Also my husband has a serious problem with keeping his eyes open in photos and by some miracle his eyes were open in every single one of the pictures! Props Tammy

rofessional at all… it’s 2019 and everyone has a nice camera in their pocket these days, right? WRONG. Seriously, the photos from even my most artistic friends were ~nice~ but Tammy really captured something deeper than that. Aside from being obviously talented, Tammy is great. She has a warm, inviting personality. She can make camera shy people open up. I had several unprompted guests say “your photographer was awesome/so much fun/etc.” which really added a lot to the day. Additionally, I loved that the package I selected came with an engagement session. Again, at the start, I hadn’t even considered getting engagement photos done at all. Now I have this huge collection of beautiful photos of me and my husband that I’ll cherish forever. Thank you, Tammy!

She brings every ounce of passion into her work. She goes out of her way to capture every special and candid moment. And most importantly, the beautiful and meaningful photos that she took; I know my sister, her husband, and our family will treasure them for a lifetime. Thank you so much Tammy!

ly went above and beyond for us (she even ran around the lake to get the perfect shot for us!)😍😍😍

ted and captured everything we asked for.... and more.. I never even noticed her at my wedding so I was a little worried, but then pictures came back and were more beautiful than I could have ever pictured them being.. She also understood that I was on a budget and make it supper easy in dealing with that.. The place that we got married was not the easiest place for pictures but she came prepared with all the equipment she needed to make it beautiful and captured those perfect shots.. Even after the sun went down.. Also, her website is super easy to navigate and I ordered a metal print that came out amazing!! We also ordered two big prints from her and the pixels look fantastic.. They showed up at our house extremely well packaged.. I will Highly recommend Tammy to anyone who is looking for high quality photography with some one who is beyond passionate about what she does..
