If we could give more than 5 stars, we absolutely would! Working with Steph and Austin at Tamarack Lodge and Glamping Resort was an absolute dream from start to finish. We fell in love with the venue during our initial tour and knew it was the one, so much so that we canceled the other venue tours we had scheduled! Tamarack was the perfect setting for our October wedding. The property is secluded, peaceful, and absolutely breathtaking in the fall. Steph and Austin are incredibly passionate about their venue and their work, and it truly shows in the care and dedication they put into making your wedding day everything you dreamed it would be. Throughout the entire planning process, they were always communicative, attentive, and quick to answer any questions. They were also so open to our ideas and genuinely wanted to bring our vision to life. As someone who is an extremely picky eater, I mentioned that I would love to have French fries included in our dinner menu. Steph and Austin came up with the brilliant idea of having a French fry bar during cocktail hour, and it was a HUGE hit! They even made sure I had a plate full of food they knew I would enjoy during the dinner portion. Those little personal touches meant so much to us and really show how much they care about their couples. Our wedding day ran so smoothly, and we owe so much of that to Steph, Austin, and their amazing staff. Their attention to detail and dedication made it possible for us to truly enjoy every moment of our day without worrying about a thing. Tamarack also offers in-house catering, and the chef is absolutely phenomenal! Our families are still talking about how delicious the food was, which says it all. We truly cannot recommend Tamarack Lodge and Glamping Resort enough. If you're looking for a beautiful venue with an incredible team who genuinely cares about you and your wedding day, look no further. We are so grateful we chose Tamarack and will always look back on our wedding day with the happiest memories. My husband and I were so lucky to find and book Tamarack Lodge & Glamping Resort for our October 2026 wedding. From start to finish, Stephanie and Austin were lovely, helpful, and amazing to work with. They helped coordinate every detail and made sure our day was everything we wanted, while also giving us the freedom to make it truly our own. The grounds were beautiful, the lodge warm and cozy, and the outdoor dance floor was incredible. We were blessed with perfect weather, and the whole place felt like a woodland fairy’s dream come true. The food was delicious, the staff impeccable, and our guests were in awe. The entire team worked so hard to make the day special, and it showed in every detail. We honestly wish we could get married all over again just to celebrate at Tamarack. We can’t recommend this venue enough, an A+ in our books, 10/10! Thank you, Tamarack, for giving us a day we’ll treasure forever!

From sweet and simple wedding ceremonies to large-scale celebrations, Tamarack Lodge in Voluntown, CT, is where rustic elegance meets an exquisite attention to detail. Legends about the lodge date back to the early 1800s, when it began life as a blacksmith's forge, then served as a water-powered wheelwright. It was transformed into a resort during the 1940s, and is today a sought-after wedding, event, and festival destination. Tamarack Lodge hosts indoor and outdoor weddings year-round. Overnight accommodations include vintage cabins, a fully renovated guest house, and glamping tents with modern amenities. The Main Lodge features two event spaces, a large stone hearth, vaulted ceilings, exposed post-and-beam architecture, and vintage, reclaimed chandeliers. There is ample space for dinner and dancing, including the upscale, modern Overlook Room, with windows looking out over the field and forest on three sides. The layout in the Main Lodge is ideal for families with a mix of older and younger guests. Guests can dance the night away in one room or catch up over cake and coffee in another. On cooler evenings, fire pits are lit under the long pergola, which is banked by rows of lavender and calla lilies. Outdoor ceremony spots abound, including the beautiful Brookside. This private forest setting is located in a clearing off an accessible trail. The Lodge has a customized golf cart on hand to bring any loved ones with mobility issues down to the ceremony, although the trail can also be traversed via motorized wheelchair. The resort is nestled under a New England canopy of Maple, Oak, Aspen, Black Birch, and White Pine trees, and its many onsite trails wind through an orchard and alongside water features. Couples can walk a rustic footbridge or climb aboard a canoe and have pictures taken against the beautiful background of Beach Pond Lake. There are many scenic and architectural features that are original to the property, which make for distinct and memorable wedding photos. The Lodge also maintains an organic kitchen garden on-site, and prioritizes both creativity and fresh and sustainable ingredients in all its menus and offerings. One of our favorite parts was being able to stay right on the property with our wedding party in the cabins and safari tents. It's such a unique experience, and it turned our wedding into a full weekend celebration where everyone was together, relaxed, and making memories long after the reception ended. Our guests are still talking about it! And then there's Stephanie and Austin, our coordinators, who we can't say enough about. From the very beginning of the planning process all the way to our one year anniversary where we returned for dinner, they made us feel special, supported, and truly cared for. They were incredibly communicative and helpful, and whenever we brought them an idea outside the box, they got excited and found a way to make it happen. They went above and beyond at every step, and on the day itself we were able to be fully present, knowing everything was in the best hands. Having coordinators like Stephanie and Austin come with the venue is rare, and we feel so lucky. Our wedding was unique, joyful, and exactly what we dreamed of. If you're considering Tamarack Lodge, don't hesitate. Book it!

Two stars because the venue itself is very pretty and my wedding did end up happening. However everything else was a nightmare. When the new people took over everything changed. Fi...

rst - no one informed us that the ownership had changed or that our contract was no longer valid. Then we had to work with four different coordinators and each time the new coordinator had no information that we had given the previous coordinator. Communication was awful. Promises were made and then never kept. So many things were changed and we were never told about those changes.Even basic questions took weeks to get answered and then answers changed many times. Prices tripled and they acted as though that was my fault and made me feel cheap for asking for the original agreed-upon price. They acted as though They were doing me a favor by even having my wedding there however had I’ve been told of the situation I would have never had my wedding there. The day of my wedding I was sick all day because I was worried that they would cancel or do something else to ruin the day for me. Any time I Talked to anybody from the venue I felt as though I was the problem.
