We first did an engagement shoot, where she immediately made us comfortable in front of the camera. We brought our dog along and she was so great about incorporating him into the shoot. She also did a masterful job navigating the location, as we happened to schedule the photo shoot on a windy, foggy SF day. We love the results! On wedding day, she was a core part of our experience and we loved spending so much time with her. Our guests loved her too! She spent most of her time getting shots of the day as it unfolded — we have loads of photos of hugs, laughs, cheersing, and dancing — which are chock full of emotion from the day. She scouted a few really special spots for us to take photos just the two of us, and also was up for some goofy photos our friends wanted to take. I think we have photos of every single guest! Working with her was delight from start to finish. And when she surprised us with a set of preview photos while we were still honeymooning, it was such a special treat on top of everything else. We truly can’t recommend her highly enough - she’s the absolute best!!

went back and forth with different photographers and thought I wanted a "light and airy" style, but when comparing their photos with Tammy's, they started to all look the same and generic with their staged poses. What stood out with Tammy's photography style was that they were all genuine and authentic and exposed her ability to truly capture the candid emotion of the day, which is what we were looking for. We messaged her right away and communication was seamless. As an indecisive bride with lots of questions, she was patient and took the time to email back and forth even before we decided to book her. She was always super helpful, gave us recommendations for engagement shoot locations, outfits, and helped us with a timeline for our wedding day. Her turn around was also very prompt; she had our engagement photos done very quickly, and had amazing previews for us a week after our wedding. We can't thank her enough for her hard work, communication, easy going attitude, and amazing talent. Book her, you won't regret it!

Tammy made us feel comfortable and you can tell from our photos. She also goes above and beyond in her work! In one of our earlier shoots, my dad's tooth had fallen out, but Tammy was able to photoshop his smile and he looks amazing! My favorite photos are her candid photos. She captured more than just images; she captured memories. I am sobbing at all of the beautiful photos I have of my friends and family. If I am ever in need of a photographer again, I will absolutely contact Tammy.

sk of finding a wedding photographer. Because I had no leads for one, I started on Yelp, which I don't necessarily trust. I found someone and looked at his photos and they seemed okay. I contacted him but he was unavailable on their wedding date. He, however, gave me the names of three other photographers who I then contacted. Two emailed me back. One of them was Tammy; when I looked at her website, I thought her photos were so interesting and artsy. I put her in contact with Sean & Madison. They also liked her photos and they liked her - she was easy to deal with and understood quickly what they wanted and really understood them. She has a great eye and so many of her photos were beautifully composed. I wish I could post some of them! But maybe you'll go to her website and take a look. I think Sean and Madison will have a hard time deciding which ones to put into an album because there are too many good ones. The wedding and reception were so much fun, and Tammy's photos completely captured how it felt to be there. Presumably most photographers will do the obligatory posed photos with family, and Tammy does those well. But she also captured the event as a photojournalist would - little moments between people, lots of people laughing. Looking at them brought me right back to those moments in time. If you want just the classic posed photos that are formal and stiff, then maybe Tammy isn't for you. But if you want something more creative and artistic, you owe it to yourself to look at her website and hope that she's free on your date. I obviously highly recommend her!

Planning a wedding during a pandemic was not easy, but we are truly grateful for how attentive and communicative she was. We found Tammy through The Knot, and we just really liked her style and vision. After having chatted over the phone we loved how easy it was to speak to Tammy. She understood what we were looking for. We wanted a photographer who could capture the moments without having to pose in all of the shots. That's definitely what caught our eyes from seeing some of her previous work. We were afraid of having our photos look and feel stiff, boring, or uncomfortable. Tammy did everything she could to coach us making us feel so comfortable with just being ourselves. Tammy was also very responsive with all questions and concerns we had. oment we contacted her, she was super communicative, answered all our questions, was totally open to our ideas, and worked with us to make both our engagement and wedding photos exactly what we wanted. Tammy is so kind, fun, and understanding. It really felt like our friend was taking the photos. We had such a great time during our engagement shoot and it was wonderful to have that experience so that we could get totally comfortable with Tammy. When our wedding day came around, Tammy and her assistant were fantastic. My husband was a little nervous about having someone he didn't know (Tammy's assistant) over at our apartment while he and his groomsmen were getting ready, but after he said, and I quote, "That guy was super cool." As for me and my bridal party, Tammy captured so many great shots. We were at a hotel in downtown San Francisco getting ready and then took photos at the MOMA. Needless to say it could have felt hectic, but Tammy helped keep everything so cool, calm, and fun. Our wedding was on Treasure Island so there was a lot of moving around and logistics required, but Tammy was a total source of calm. Best of all, the photos turned out STUNNING and totally captured the vibe at our wedding. I was drawn to Tammy because her photos almost looked like they were in motion. os she captured. She did a great job of capturing our guests at the right moments and the difficult verticality of the redwood grove we were at. She also did an awesome job choreographing poses with us in those precious moments alone between the ceremony and reception. Bottom line - she made everyone feel comfortable, made us feel excited to be photographed, and arranged a second photographer for our ceremony at a very reasonable rate, which meant we had photos of our guests reacting to our ceremony as well as ourselves. She’s an easy recommendation for one of the higher stress wedding decisions

From her communication before the event, to her natural and calming presence during the event, and timely follow up after the event, every bit of planning was a breeze. The photos that she shot and edited were SPOT ON. They captured the essence of the event perfectly and her editing is beautiful! All of these things, combined with how awesome of a human she is, made asking her to shoot my wedding a no brainer. Tammy shot both the wedding celebrations that we hosted on back to back days and her presence was equally as natural and calming as for my work event. She was great at giving direction to help capture perfect shots, but didn’t make you feel like it was forced or unnatural. She helped to ensure that we got the epic shots that we were hopefully for when planning (like City Hall looking like we were the only ones there, or the vineyard were hosted a party at golden hour) and they turned out better than I could have imagined. Not only do we love Tammy, but when your friends and family say, “she was awesome!” you know you’re in good hands. I just got to work with Tammy for the third time for another work event last week, and I already have a first look of photos back! :)

our wedding she arrived early and she was able to capture intimate moments of us arriving at the Beverly Hills Courthouse with our family. She has such an eye for the architecture and she is so creative and talented! We took pictures inside where she worked with the natural light coming in through the large windows and we also took beautiful pictures outside in the garden and the streets of Beverly Hills! She was so great with our children as well as my elderly father. She put everyone at ease. We requested digital pictures which arrived in a timely manner and we we could not be happier with her work. f luck to pull of what we envisioned. With Tammy's help, our expectations were wildly exceeded! She not only worked with our schedule with ease, but she listed to our ideas and ran wild with them. Open to a variety of locations for our vows (following a court house visit earlier in the day), she recommended the scenic Grove of The Old Trees for our vows and shoot, providing us with a few galleries beforehand to help us envision the moment. Tammy made me and my husband (who is never one to feel comfortable in front of a camera) feel so amazing and calm that day. And the moments she captured embody the love we shared with each other that day. A week doesn't go by where I don't show a photo to a friend or receive a comment from a houseguest on the large photo above our mantle that she captured. We are grateful for their talents and professionalism because aside from each other, our rings, and a few more uses of my husband's suit/our accessories, their photos are the only tangible things we have left of a milestone in our lives. We needed a photographer based in the Marin area and found Tammy through a combination of Google and Yelp! After speaking to her on the phone, we immediately booked her which was good because she soon received other requests for our date. She took initiative by visiting the ceremony site and scouting locations for the shoot and when we met her at the walk-through, she was as down to earth as she was on the phone. Natalie came to our rescue when the ceremony facility's golf cart we rented was not the four-seater we expected and she opened the doors to her car and drove us to another location to take a few more shots and quickly got us back in time for the ceremony. She was also great about helping everyone with their boutonnieres/corsages. Tammy also came to my rescue by calming me down when I knocked my veil loose and talked me into going without it (you don't need it!) since we already had great shots with it. If you can, invest in longer coverage and a second photographer because our reception timeline was pushed back, and Natalie captured moments we missed while we were off elsewhere with Tammy. Our guests complimented her throughout the event on her ninja-like skills in getting candid shots. Tammy is also an extremely friendly and engaging human being. She handled some of our more "high maintenance" guests who wanted certain pictures, with grace and a smile. When we saw all the photos she snapped of the moments we weren't able to be a part of, we were blown away. My parents loved her, which is very important to me, but it also is a great example of how comfortable everyone felt when it was "photo time" and during the reception. Weather had interfered with our outdoor plans and Tammy not only beautifully captured our last-minute venue change, but also helped the bride (me) gather her emotions as things were shifting, families were awkwardly wondering what's going on, and chaos loomed.
