We got married at Bakers Ranch in Parrish Florida and Tampa Bay Cake was one of our choices for dessert. It was an easy choice as their cakes were far superior from the other options we tried. They also had an option to ship cake tastings which was incredibly helpful since we live in Massachusetts. We decided to get a dessert bar in addition to a small cake. Everything was incredible! We got chocolate covered strawberries, macarons, rice krispy treats, cake truffles, and a few different cake shooters. Even with ordering extra, our dessert table was empty so fast because everyone wanted seconds and thirds. I’m sad we didn’t have leftovers because I didn’t really get to savor everything in the moment. But that’s a good problem to have! All of guests were very impressed and happy. I highly recommend Tampa Bay Cake Company!

Tampa Bay Cake Company made our wedding cake. We had a mocha cake and it was the most delicious wedding cake anyone has ever had. All our guests could not stop raving about our cake!! They truly made such a beautiful and tasty cake. I was so impressed! I would recommend them to anyone. Not only were they affordable but they were easy to work with and more than exceeded my expectations for our cake! They also had a vegan option for some of my bridesmaids which made it so special to be able to include anyone I needed to in our desserts!!

etting a classic wedding cake made of chocolate and Vanilla and getting a second grooms cake just so we could make sure we got a slice of the cinnamon cake. And Emily did a great job decorating the cakes based on what we asked for. The grooms cake had our college mascot on it and the wedding cake was blue ombre. I was very happy with the result and there was not a slice of cake left at the end of the night. It was a huge hit!

Her work speaks for herself. She's a SMALL business owner, which is not easy! She runs this cake business which she started from scratch...
and that supports her family. She is continuously learning and educating herself to grow and apply the best artistry she can to her work. Most people DO NOT understand the cake industry. It's NOT easy. It takes tremendous patience, skill, and artistry. SOO much goes into every single cake, design, and bite! sappointed with my experience with Tampa Bay Cake Company. To keep it short, I requested a 5-tier white fondant cake with lace detailing on each tier. This is not what I received. I didn’t find this out until it was time to cut my cake on the wedding day. On our contract, it states, ‘detailed lace’ and the design is nowhere near lace – many people thus far have described it as “birds feet stamped all over a cake” which is quite embarrassing. On top of pay $1300 for this cake and not getting the design I wanted, I am not happy with the way Tampa Bay Cake Company handled this feedback. I was told “lace is open to interpretation” and I was given a 10% refund which truthfully, is nothing in the grand scheme of this cake. The cake tasted great, and the flavors were correct, but the design which is ultimately what people are looking at fell flat – it should’ve just been left blank at that point. It looks like an afterthought, and I wish Tampa Bay Cake Company would’ve just been upfront with me.

From the very beginning Emily was quick to respond and very friendly. We picked up our cake samples and had the toughest time choosing the flavor for our cake. They were all SOOOO ...
good. We decided on salted caramel. I’m usually a vanilla or funfetti gal. But the salted caramel was surprisingly light and decadent. With cake being my favorite dessert I knew I had to have the best of the best. That’s why we went with Emily. We are so happy that we had Emily create our cake and desserts for our special day. We had a tropical theme wedding and we had the idea of edible flamingo toppers and she really outdid herself!! The cake was only for bride and groom and we ate a third of it after the wedding LOL. It was just that good. So moist, delicious and FRESH!!!!
She baked over 100 cupcakes for our guests and every single one looked and tasted like she took her time and really put love into her creations.
She showed up on time at the venue and it was all set up just as perfectly as we’d hoped.
Now that the wedding is over, we are looking forward to more events where we can have more of Emily’s cake and desserts!!
