We had a very short planning period for our wedding (three and a half months!), first reached out to Diane less than three months before the wedding, and she managed to get our invitations done to land in our guests’ mailboxes with seven weeks to spare before our wedding. Our guests were very impressed with the invitations, which helped set the right tone for our black tie wedding. It is, after all, the first impression your guests get of the wedding! Our invitations consisted of a calligraphed envelope, custom-printed stock pocket folder, a invitation card mounted in the interior of the pocket folder, with cards in the pocket for RSVP and additional events. My graphic designer friend designed everything based on sketches I gave her and then Diane literally put everything onto paper. Diane tracked down pocket folders and matching envelopes in the size, color and shape I wanted. Since we had a short time frame, we could not have custom pocket folders made so tracking down stock folders that matched my vision was not an easy task. I wanted a custom design printed in thermography onto the pocket folders, which, after speaking with several thermography printers and doing a failed test run with one of them, seemed impossible. We thought we'd have to change the printing method in order to get the design printed onto the folders. Diane spent hours figuring it out, and by some miracle got the folders thermography-printed with my custom design. She also introduced me to a local calligrapher whose prices were unbeatable and work was stunning. He did all of the envelope addressing, and Diane had the return address thermographied on the flap. The main invitation was printed using three different printing methods - letterpress in two colors, blind letterpress and gold foiling. The ink was beautifully done, the gold foiling was crisp, and the cardstock Diane picked out was perfect to display all of this. The additional cards were letterpress in two colors on the same cardstock as the main invitation. The printing was consistent throughout all 125 invitations and cards we printed The final invitation suite was unbelievably gorgeous - I couldn't have imagined anything better. It all conveyed the elegance and timelessness we were trying to achieve. Everyone was impressed with the final product – our guests, our graphic designer, people at the post office and even our other wedding vendors who have seen dozens, if not hundreds, of wedding invitations. I'm a perfectionist and very hands-on with my creative endeavors, and to find someone who can manage and exceed my expectations is rare and cherished. Diane goes above and beyond for her brides! I did review the list she originally sent me, but did not assume I needed to compare line by line to my own to make sure all people were accounted for...I was looking for spelling errors, etc. Since I have called her out, she has done nothing but attack me; she suggested my guests were lying about not getting them or that the mail lost them. She even dared give me a psychology lesson in "transferring guilt." I would NEVER work with her again. My wedding planning has been a breeze until the WRATH OF DIANE.

Most impressive though, the moment I showed Diane my invitation and said I wanted a similar font for the addressing, she knew the exact name of the font, had it available, and even printed in the Navy color to match our invites, versus black, at no additional cost. For my menu's I had showed her a picture of one I liked from Pintrest and she was able to re-create it, she provided drafts so you always knew what you were getting! We had some last minute changes on our guest list (like week of changes) and she was able to get me a couple new place cards with time to spare! I plan on using her for invites and such in the future!

She did place cards for us, equally beautiful. We received so many compliments on all our stationary; I couldn't believe how wonderful everything looked - it all coordinated so perfectly. Diane is super quick to respond to e-mails and is very, very helpful. She's very prompt, and service was unbelievably fast. I notified her on a Thursday that I'd be bringing in my envelopes the next day, and she said that would be fine - she had them done by Monday evening. She even offered to stuff all my envelopes for me! Diane is so helpful, so quick, and she does such an amazing job. We had such a wonderful experience. You won't get a better value, better quality, or better service anywhere. Diane is so sweet (and she has the cutest little dog)! I wouldn’t hesitate to use Diane again or to recommend her to anyone at all who has any type of calligraphy need.

t wanted to go through a vendor to make my life easier. Out of 150 invites, I was sending about 10 invites overseas (which she almost sent to the wrong country) and even though I told her multiple times how to send them, I still had to remind her. She sent me an invoice charging me for the postage of 150 invites. After I paid, I thought all of the invites were sent out. 2 days later, I call her to ask about an email she sent me. She tells me that she still didn’t send out the ones for overseas and was “waiting on my direction” on how to send them and she still needs to charge me for that postage. We had multiple conversations about the overseas invites earlier (which were included in the original 150 invites). Why was that not discussed earlier or included on the previous invoice for the stamps? Out of this entire process, this was the first time I questioned her and was frustrated. The moment I questioned her about why these weren’t sent out with the rest of them and why I was charged for 150 postage and now an additional 10, she became irate and began yelling at me. She said things like it was completely my fault why these weren’t sent out already, she wanted “nothing to do with me anymore”, and hung up on me. I tried everything I could to get a word in and she would not let me. For someone who runs their own business, I would think she would know that it should be focused on customer service. Sometimes, there are some situations that are more difficult than others. But as someone who is providing a service, she should treat every client with a level of professionalism and respect. I've worked in customer service industry for 10 years and I have NEVER spoke with someone the way she spoke to me. I've never seen such unprofessionalism. If you can avoid her, PLEASE DO. Not worth it and no bride deserves to be treated that way. Out of all the vendors I have worked with for my wedding, she is the ONLY one I have had any problems with. I decided to called the venue for my wedding since I found her through their preferred vendor list. Turns out, they already removed her because they received a lot of complaints about her already. I think that speaks volumes. Please STAY AWAY.
