Many many guests stayed on the dancefloor until they had to get kicked out. Most importantly, we had an issue with our venue not communicating to us until last minute (day before) that a concert was happening the same time as our ceremony. Rich did a fantastic job communicating with my sister who was the officiant to ensure OUR music was heard by our guests. Strongly recommend Rich. 10/10

They truly brought out all the stops - fog, cold sparks, our names projected on the wall, and a beautiful DJ booth setup. We used Tampa Event Group for DJ, MC, lighting, photo, video, and photo booth, and they delivered on every single detail. Our planner recommended them, and they did not disappoint. The value for what you get is incredible, high-end experience that’s still reasonably priced. A special shoutout to Richard Mercado, who is a true stand-up guy. A few months before the wedding, I had a small billing issue (totally my fault), I’d signed up for payments, then paid in full, and one extra payment accidentally came out while I was out wedding-dress shopping. Without missing a beat, Richard immediately refunded it and made sure everything was corrected within an hour. That kind of honesty and responsiveness says everything about the kind of vendor he is. If you’re on the fence, don’t be. Tampa Event Group made our night unforgettable, stress-free, and so much fun. Highly, highly recommend!

He linked us up with DJ Fabian and it turned out to be a perfect fit. Both DJ Rich and DJ Fabian listened attentively to our wants and needs by regularly communicating via phone calls, texts, and their website platform for planning. We had a mix of age ranges at our wedding and wanted to incorporate lots of genres while embedding our love for EDM music. DJ Rich made sure we were fully accommodated, DJ Fabian showed up extra early to get set up and check in, then the MC/assistant Mo helped keep the energy up all night long. I would highly recommend Tampa Event Groups, specifically DJ Fabian, to anyone wanting a "just right" feel for their music needs and overall guest enjoyment. Including their DJ services was truly a highlight of the whole reception and we are more than pleased with how awesome everything turned out. And by turned out, what we really mean is TURNED UP!!! 11/10 would recommend using this as music/entertainment for your wedding night!!!

😂 DJ Rich Kenny kept me on the dance floor so long that my skin fell off. I don’t know if there is a better endorsement than that. My husband and I are huge music buffs and Rich knew exactly how to balance our eclectic taste with crowd pleasers that kept the party going all night. A lot of our guests were older and there was a wide range of ages between everyone - we wanted a DJ who could carefully craft a great playlist that everybody would enjoy. He listened to us better than any other DJ we talked to and assured us he would keep the wedding fun, but not “trashy” at all - it was supposed to be elegant, like our whole theme for the wedding itself. DJ Rich Kenny more than delivered; he wasn’t one of those DJ’s that did excessive talking and ruined the mood, and the whole entire wedding and reception was flawless. He is such a nice, down-to-earth guy that you can relate to so well, and he absolutely is someone I would recommend time and time again. From the fog machines that made us look like we were dancing on clouds during our first dance, to the photobooth that added extra entertainment, to the music choices and overall awesome vibes the entire night, DJ Rich Kenny was amazing!!!!!!

My husband and I put a lot of value on the music at our wedding, to us it was of the utmost importance to set the tone and the vibe of the different aspects of the day. Rich was highly collaborative, having multiple calls with us to iron out the details, brainstorm, and really took the time to learn what we were looking for and determine how he could bring that to life. Rich also leaned into every (even seemingly crazy) idea we had and brought his own wonderful ideas to the table as well. He is CLEARLY an expert in his craft and loves what he does. The speeches went perfectly as well, and not one technical error happened throughout the entire day/evening. In terms of the actual music, there was not a single time when our guests weren't head bobbing, grooving, or even shazaming a song because they loved the music so much. When it came time for the reception, words cannot describe how Rich just absolutely lit the dance floor on fire. Everyone was up and dancing their hearts out. His mixes and renditions of songs were unparalleled to anything I've heard before, much less at a wedding.
