When looking for my wedding dress I went to several stores but my experience at Tamzen’s Bridal was the best! Tamzen is very personable and having her be a part of my wedding dress shopping experience was fun. I really liked the online portal that I used in advance to review dresses, it really simplified things. I highly recommend going to Tamzen’s Bridal. I couldn’t be happier with my experience buying my wedding dress at Tamzen’s Bridal. Thank you Tamzen!!

Tamzen's Bridal made the dress finding process super simple. I was able to pick out dresses that I liked online through their portal prior to my appointment and they had them lined up and ready to try on when I got there. They provided expert help and suggestions. They are super friendly and made me feel comfortable throughout the appointment. Overall it was a great experience.

Don't go anywhere else because this is the place! Once you make a bridal appointment they send you a link to create an account on their website. Once you create an account it gives you an option for a Look Book. This allows you to go through ALL the dresses they have in stock and favorite them. Then the day of your appointment all your favorited dress are already pulled when you get there. It saves SO much time and allows you to just jump right into your appointment. They allow mimosas and Tamzen is AMAZING. She is so friendly and gives great advice. And when you do pick your dress she's so happy for you and goes into great detail about how to preserve your dress too. Please just go here!

Tamzen's Bridal was fantastic! I called the owner the night before coming in back in October 2021 and she was able to squeeze me in for a Saturday 10 AM appointment. I came in by myself and Tamzen helped me pick out dresses based off of what I had in mind, assisted me while getting into each one and helped me say yes to the dress! The dress fit me like a glove and I received so many compliments this past weekend at my wedding. Highly recommend Tamzen's Bridal!

Tamzen and Britt are absolutely fantastic! They helped me find the perfect wedding dress for my special day and never pressured me into a sale. As a matter of fact when Britt saw I was overwhelmed she told me to go home, think about it, and make another appointment in a week or so. I did and it was much better. We also got the Mother of the Groom dress here and all the suits for the Groomsmen, Bridesmen, and my bridesperson. I have a dear friend who came out as non-binary and preferred to wear a suit. Tamzen didn't even flinch and when my friend told Tamzen this would be their first suit she hugged my friend and was so happy for them. Just an extra touch of wonderful. Thank you for everything!

I am so beyond happy with choosing Tamzen’s Bridal at Butler Manor for my wedding gown. They were SO helpful and fantastic to work with. You are the only bride in the shop so you truly feel catered to. When I put on my first gown I immediately fell in love. Tamzen and Britt were AMAZING! I didn’t have much of an idea of what I wanted in a wedding dress. My group picked several dresses for me to try on and the ladies at Tamzen’s took all of the pieces that I liked from each dress and helped me find the PERFECT one. They were so helpful, patient, and not pushy at all! My now husband also chose to go with Tamzens for his men’s ware and he was not the most organized with everything.. Tamzen took every phone call and did every re-measure he needed as we rescheduled our wedding multiple times due to COVID. I can’t imagine our day without Tamzens!

Tamzen's Bridal was my first stop in looking for wedding dresses. I was nervous and had a vague idea, at best, of what I was looking forward. Brittany was professional, warm, and very knowledgeable. In the end, we found a dress that was very much me, exceeded expectations, and was in my (tighter) price range. I would highly recommend Tamzen's Bridal. At Tamzen's you'll feel more like you're on an outing with girlfriends, then under pressure to find the perfect dress.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Brit, Tamzen, and the shop’s collection of dresses. I was very wary of wedding dress shopping in the beginning as I thought it could be frustrating or overwhelming BUT my whole experience was different at Tamzens. When I first went shopping I didn’t find “the one” but they encouraged me to check out the Herve collection when it arrived in stock at their store (they are the only store in the US with this collection). Tamzen kept in touch with me and was timely in setting up an appointment when they arrived (she texted me the day they arrived and sent me photos of the dresses I was anticipating the most). I ended up choosing a dress that I am so in love with and cannot wait to wear for my September wedding. These ladies truly made me feel so special and are incredible at listening to what you *think* you want and infusing their expertise. I will forever sing their praises!!!

Tamzen bridal was AMAZING from start to finish! They provided me with an online “look book” to identify dresses that I loved. When I arrived, they were already pulled. She made me feel so comfortable and listened to my concerns and gave great advice throughout the entire appointment. She pulled other dresses based off my comments while trying on dresses. This was the first dress shop that actually made me feel welcome and excited to dress shop. It was a beautiful shop with a wonderful owner! Highly recommend!!

This was the most amazing experience. We had shopped at two other places but this place truly catered to the bride (my daughter). They have just you in the whole place! So amazing! Brit...ask for Brit! She had the most encouraging words & can take any dress...too large or too small & make you see the vision. So gifted at her job. My daughter said yes to the perfect dress!

Tamzen is the best there is! The moment I met her I could tell she was someone who knew bridal gowns and the bridal industry very well. She knew exactly which gowns would look amazing on me, and she was the one who ended up picking out "the dress" after realizing the ones I was picking just weren't right for my body type. She made me feel very comfortable with her warm and genuine personality. She basically treated me as if I was HER daughter getting married! I can be very indecisive (and it didn't help that she has sooooo many beautiful dresses to choose from), so when I finally had it narrowed down to three dresses, she guided me to the right one by giving me things to think about that other places didn't, like what alterations would be needed and how that would affect the overall look and cost of the dress. Again, she really knows her stuff, and that is exactly the type of consultant you need when making such an important purchase. She gives you her complete and undivided attention, and she will not pressure you into anything just so she can "make a sale". She truly cares about her clients and making sure they walk out of her shop feeling valued and beautiful. The dress I ordered came very quickly - about 2 months - and it was exactly as I ordered. I thought finding and ordering a dress would be one the most stressful things about my wedding, but it turned out to be the easiest because of Tamzen's outstanding professionalism. I cannot say enough nice things about her and her staff, and I highly recommend anyone getting married to see Tamzen and only Tamzen. You won't need to go anywhere else - trust me.

Tamzen's Bridal was amazing! I had a hard time finding gowns that made me feel beautiful in them. As soon as I walked in the doors Tammy welcomed me and told me "I got you girl". She sure did! I am a curvy bride and would recommend Tamzen's in a heartbeat!

Tamzen is the sweetest!! We met Tamzen through a personal connection and we are so grateful! We had a vision for all of our bridesmaids to be in different styled dresses in varying jewel toned colors the only similarity was that they would be long. We came in on our first appointment with all 4 bridesmaids not expecting to make any decisions, just to start the process, but we ended up finding all of their dresses right there within our one and a half hour appointment! We were pleasantly surprised and honestly it still shocks me with how simple and easy that process was! She had such great variety and so many options that are very reasonably priced. We had such a great experience that one of my bridesmaids ended up getting engaged during our planning process and was able to use Tamzen for her bridal gown! Tamzen was a dream from the beginning.. personalizes appointments, no rushing, and honest, professional guidance and opinions. She made trying on dresses so much fun! Where do I start, Tammy is awesome. When you enter the salon, you are greeted warmly, then you get a tour and Tammy asks what You want in a dress, she pulls some, you pull some. Then the fun of trying on dresses, she will continue to listen to the I like this, I dont like this. Until you find the perfect dress. I was a little hesitant since I am tall and the dress I tried on was tight in the arms, there was NO pressure to purchase that day, but she assured me that once ordered the arms area would be fine (halter dress Stella 6553). I did go ahead and order it and I could not have been happier. We also purchased my bridesmaid dresses there and again, she listened to what I wanted and what the girls were comfortable in.

I LOVED Tamzen's Bridal!! Both my MOH & another bridesmaid got their dresses from Tamzen's and raved about them and their service, so naturally they were my first choice and I couldn't have agreed with them more. I was able to bring my 3 bridesmaids (as 1 lived out of town) and my mom and we had the place completely to ourselves. I was able to try on many many dresses and they were great with helping me realize exactly what I was looking for (as I wasn't 100% sure ahead of time, only had a general idea). When I found THE dress, they even changed the lighting to reception lighting and I fell even more in love. When I picked up my dress, Tamzen (the owner) checked in with me about how my planning was going. Tamzen's was the first bridal shop that I stepped into after getting engaged and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I was extremely nervous about trying wedding dresses on and did zero research as to what kind of dress I may want. Tamzen was amazingly knowledgeable, friendly, kind and helpful. She really made me feel like a beautiful queen. After I left Tamzen's after my first visit, I went to a few other places where the salespeople did not make me feel beautiful and that was not a good feeling at all. I then made another appointment at Tamzen's to re-try on a dress. I ended up buying the very first dress that I tried on - which I think Tamzen actually picked out for me! She was so helpful and reassuring through the whole process. If I could give more than 5 stars for Tamzen and her staff, I would. They are the best!

Tamzen is so knowledgeable about all things wedding fashion and helped me pick and feel comfortable in the perfect dress, but even more than that, she is personal and relational. I wish I had another reason to go visit her! Absolutely phenomenal service in the cutest shop ever!

Tamzen is so wonderful. Out of all of the boutiques I visited, I felt most comfortable here. I knew I wanted to buy my dress here the moment I walked in because the atmosphere was so laid back and welcoming. There was no pressure and Tamzen made it easy to find the perfect dress. My experience at Tamzen's was the best! I went to the appointment with my mom and we had a great time and excellent service. I unfortunately didn't buy my dress there because I was unable to really visualize myself wearing the dress without being able to put it on fully (the size was too small and I couldn't get it over my chest). I do, however, intend to get my bridesmaid dresses here because of how wonderful my overall experience was.

Amazing experience from the initial contact! I needed something off the rack, as I was only a few months away from my wedding and Tamzen was awesome! I was only in town briefly, as I live in Chicago, and she fit me into her schedule with short notice! She was patient and helped me find the perfect dress for my wedding! I had to take my daughter in to find a specific designer for my sons out of state wedding.. Tammy the owner was so helpful and nice.. The atmosphere was relaxed which was so needed.. I was so impressed even after telling her I wasn't sure about ordering the dress there because my future daughter in law wanted them to be ordered together.. She explained the process and also offered (with receipt) to match any price or sale discount we were offered.. She has that small town feel with a personal touch.. I will refer everyone I know to her for all their Bridal or formal needs.. Defiantly someone I would give my business to in the future..

Absolutely amazing experience with Tamzen's Bridal! After spending a few hours at David's Bridal and finding absolutely nothing, we walked into Tamzen's a bit apprehensive. Well, Tamzen stepped in and changed the game! She took my vision into consideration, but clearly I knew nothing about finding the perfect wedding dress. Tamzen requested she pick a few she thought I might like and boy was she ON POINT! We quickly narrowed our options and settled on the perfect dress for my body type. Everyone was in tears! I am so happy Tamzen pushed me outside of my comfort zone. Also, the feel of the boutique is so much more inviting than somewhere like David's Bridal-- you get individualized attention and it is much easier to find a dress perfect for you!. I also got my veil and earrings from Tamzen's. I would definitely recommend stopping in to the amazing small business!

My experience at Tamzen's Bridal was unparalleled! Not only did we enjoy the private appointment and personalized experience, but Tamzen even went out of her way to book us a hotel room across the street after we got stuck in a snow storm and were unable to drive home for the night! Also, I am an out of state bride, and she has been a blessing in helping coordinate my fittings. In the end, I found not 1, but 2 dream dresses with Tamzen's help! I don't even know where to begin! Tammy and Doc were absolutely wonderful. They were so kind and worked with me and each of my bridesmaids in the most professional manner. I went in looking for a fitted gown with sparkles and lace, but none of those seemed to be "it." Tammy pulled a simple A-line gown and showed me that less really can be more. My dress even had pockets! She dressed it up with a cathedral-length veil and a sparkly headband. Her expertise is out of this world. We're so thankful for such a great experience!

Can't say enough amazing things about Tamzen and Doc! My dress and all tuxes were ordered through Tamzen's and we had a fantastic experience on both ends. They are so personable when taking care of their clients. I was the only one in the store during my bridal appointment which made me feel comfortable trying on dresses and it made me feel special. She was giving her honest feedback the entire time and made sure I got the dress that fit me best. We had some issues with the tuxes the week of the wedding and Tamzen and Doc worked thru the night to fix the problems! I am so appreciative of everything they did to make me and our groomsman look great on the wedding day!

Tamzen and Doc really took care of us right from the beginning. My daughter and I went in one day to just make an appointment but there wasn't another appointment in progress so Tamzen was gracious and let us start our dress shopping right then and there (and found the look I was wanting right then and there!) I went to two other places to look for a dress but didn't find the selection and, equally as important, the service to be what Tamzen had right here in my hometown of Carlisle. Her gowns are elegant and classic and she made each of the appointments for me/us special. We also rented the suits from Doc and they were perfect! He has a great selection of high quality tuxes and suits and we found exactly what we needed. I think the dress you wear at your wedding is an important decision and finding it at a place where the owners truely care about their customers was the only way to go. I hate trying on clothes, and was very nervous to try on wedding dresses. I am happy to say that Tamzen's made the whole experience a good one. Tammy was great about following my lead, but still helping me to figure out what style would suit me best. I felt special -I never was rushed or pushed to make a decision, and I had the place to myself during my appointment. They have a great selection of dresses, as well as accessories. My mom and maid of honor were both impressed too!

absolutely loved Tamzen and the experience! this was my first shop and the only I needed to go to. everyone went in and picked out what they wanted me to try on. Where to even start.. Well we had a bridal party of 20, and Tamzen's Bridal handled it like it was a piece of cake! With 10 Guys and 10 Girls, they got everything perfect! Tamzen and Doc were absolutely wonderful!! When I walked into Tamzen's Bridal I immediately fell in love. I was the only appointment and they even had a welcome sign with my name on it. Tam was wonderful. They had scheduled me in as an accessory appointment instead of a gown appointment, but they accommodated and made the appointment go so smoothly and wonderfully. They actually gave us additional discounts on the dress because of the miscommunication and the fact that I am an EMT. Tam was wonderful to work with and was such a sweetie with my family.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this bridal boutique! Tammy and Doc are the absolute sweetest people on earth and it's evident that they love their job! It took me two appointments at Tamzen's to say yes to the dress, but both times I was treated like royalty. Unlike other shops I've shopped at, they book only one appointment at a time and give you their full attention. Tammy is very personable and has a knack for picking dresses she knows you'll feel beautiful in.

My bridal appointment was perfect. I came to Tamzen's as my third bridal salon. I had a vision for my dress... but the one I had in mind was almost out of budget. With my vision in mind, Tamzen pulled nearly a dozen gowns similar to what I wanted. They were each beautiful but with her help, I found a better version of the dress I wanted -- for $800 less! I love that Tamzen and her husband have stacked their racks with quality dresses for very reasonable prices. I also loved the environment they gave me. I was the center of their attention and felt she really listened to what I wanted. I'm grateful I found them!

Tamzen's was the bridal shop I couldn't get out of my mind when I was looking for my wedding dress! It was the first place I went – and the last after a long search brought me back to their doorstep. I was beginning to think I would never find the dress, but the team here was so incredibly helpful and encouraging. They aided someone indecisive in pruning down the sometimes confusing options until I was left with the perfect dress! I wouldn't have wanted to find "the one" anywhere else.

We had a great experience on the day my daughter-in-law found her dream dress. It was beautiful. It went downhill from there. We choose to order tuxedos from Tamzen's which was the biggest mistake. The sizes were wrong and didn't ship ahead of time as promised. The owner Doc was rude and didn't take respnsibility. Don't order your tuxedos from there.

Tamzen welcomed all of us with open arms and made us feel at home right away. She had already picked out some dresses based on pictures I sent her, but I soon discovered that what I initially picked out was not at all what I wanted in my wedding dress. She listened to me discuss everything with the other girls and quietly picked out dresses based on what she overheard. One of them ended up being the absolute perfect dress. She dressed it up with ribbon, a beautiful veil, and a hairpiece which made the whole look unique to my taste. She understood my concerns about the bust area and talked me through different options. I was thrilled to find my wedding dress, but I was equally thrilled to buy it from Tamzen, because she was an absolute joy to work with. She and her husband have a great balance. He coordinated the arrival date of the dress and any other questions we had. They also recommended an amazing seamstress who did all of the work at a very fair price. Overall, I would make the trip to Tamzen's even if you're not local. It is worth your time to meet these two genuine people and know that you're in capable, trustworthy hands when picking our your dress!

Tamzen's was the best salon I went to!! She helped me find my dream dress! She is very personal and does not put you in something you don't want. She also knows her stuff and gives you her professional opinion. Everybody raved over my dress and it made the wedding even more perfect! Also check out her son, he owns Pencil Me In.
