I was able to try on many many dresses and they were great with helping me realize exactly what I was looking for (as I wasn't 100% sure ahead of time, only had a general idea). When I found THE dress, they even changed the lighting to reception lighting and I fell even more in love. When I picked up my dress, Tamzen (the owner) checked in with me about how my planning was going. After I left Tamzen's after my first visit, I went to a few other places where the salespeople did not make me feel beautiful and that was not a good feeling at all. I then made another appointment at Tamzen's to re-try on a dress. I ended up buying the very first dress that I tried on - which I think Tamzen actually picked out for me! She was so helpful and reassuring through the whole process. If I could give more than 5 stars for Tamzen and her staff, I would. They are the best!

e dresses based on pictures I sent her, but I soon discovered that what I initially picked out was not at all what I wanted in my wedding dress. She listened to me discuss everything with the other girls and quietly picked out dresses based on what she overheard. One of them ended up being the absolute perfect dress. She dressed it up with ribbon, a beautiful veil, and a hairpiece which made the whole look unique to my taste. She understood my concerns about the bust area and talked me through different options. I was thrilled to find my wedding dress, but I was equally thrilled to buy it from Tamzen, because she was an absolute joy to work with. She and her husband have a great balance. He coordinated the arrival date of the dress and any other questions we had. They also recommended an amazing seamstress who did all of the work at a very fair price. Overall, I would make the trip to Tamzen's even if you're not local. It is worth your time to meet these two genuine people and know that you're in capable, trustworthy hands when picking our your dress!

had already been to a few appointments elsewhere and was beginning to get overwhelmed, but Tamzen and her staff were helpful, honest, and warm people. It was a little too early to make a decision, so I booked another appointment for November. I went to some local bridal shops in between, and I had found a dress online that I loved that wasn't out yet. I called Doc and corresponded with him a few times over the phone as he tried everything to get it in for me before November to try on, which was super appreciated and wonderful customer service. When we went back in November, the experience was just as wonderful as the first time. I brought my Mom, his Mom, and his sister, and I ended up "saying yes" to a dress I had fallen in love with the first time I was in the shop. Tamzen was very helpful with suggestions about belts and other accents to my dress, and my Mom ended up finding her dress as well! I've been recommending as much as possible to people here to make the trip, but if you're already in the area, go to this wonderful shop!

I had terrible experiences with both of them in the past so I wanted to go somewhere different. I am so happy I went with Tamzen's! From the beginning she listened to me and my opinions and didn't force me into anything. She pulled a couple different styles to keep my mind open, but never forced the issue if I didn't like it. It was very important to me that I not be forced into selecting a dress and Tammy was wonderful about that. I am happy to say that my dress is ordered and I cannot wait for it to come in! I would highly recommend this salon and I am so happy it was my first and only stop!

It wasn't about making a sale with them it was about the journey to fund your dream dress. I found my dress and at the end and there was so much love from all of them and it's genuine. They were both accommodating, friendly, and obviously knew their stuff. When my mom decided on her dress but was having a hard time figuring out which size she would be more comfortable in, Tamzen was able to work some back-end inventory magic and order another size for my mom to try on in a couple weeks, at no extra cost. Not only that, but they also honored the expired gift certificate my mom had. Talk about customer service--even for a MOB dress! We will most likely end up ordering my fiance's and his groomsmen's suits from Tamzen's as a result. I obviously can't speak to their bridal inventory, but I can tell you that their customer service made for a wonderful experience for us.

Tamzen let me pull any dress that caught my eye, while making suggestions along the way based off my vision of the wedding. I think the best thing that Tamzen and Doc let me do was take pictures of myself in their gowns. This is what ultimately led me to making my decision for my gown! I've since then purchased my veil and some accessories at Tamzen, while my brother used them for his senior prom attire. These people are so genuine and kind, it made a world of difference to me and my family.!

I came across one that I had my heart set on so I called right away to schedule an appointment. This was my first and only bridal appointment. When I arrived to the shop, there was a sign welcoming me with my name and I had the entire shop to myself with my closest family members and maid of honor. They brought us champagne and Tamzen went through every wedding dress in the store with me and made sure I gave every style, shape, and texture a try. My experience there was better than anything I could have imagined. It was such a pleasure to have Tamzen help walk me through finding my dress. I felt comfortable with her and thought she was extremely helpful and honest. I left without purchasing my dress (since I was torn between three of them!), but made a return appointment to purchase the one that I knew was mine. I am anxiously awaiting for it to arrive in September! I strongly recommend Tamzen's to any bride. Their selection of gowns is exceptional. intment. I had to reschedule. I called and left a message. A few days went by and I still didn't hear back. I called, no answer, so I sent an email. I kept calling daily, until finally about a week later someone answered and I rescheduled my appointment. Fast forward to my appointment date...on the morning of my appointment I received a call from Tamzen's asking to reschedule my appointment because they made a commitment to be somewhere else. They asked if I could come in earlier. Myself and my bridesmaids work in law enforcement and have varying work schedule. I had requested a morning shift spedicially for the purpose of this appointment. It was the only date all schedules would coincide. I couldn't come in early due to work. The associate informed me if I came in early they would try to make it work. He then asked about my budget for the dress. Once I told him I didn't want to pay anything too extravangant for the dress, it immediately seemed as if the business that conflicted with my appointment was much more important because it was going to be more profitable. I canceled the appointment. I didn't want to go to the shop by myself. I wanted the experience of being with my girls and trying on dresses. I didn't want to be rushed or not have the full attention of those who are supposed to be assisting me. I changed work to make this appointment happen. When I informed the associate I would not be coming in early or rescheduling, he was very rude. In order to lift my spirits, my bridesmaids made an appointment for the same date at time at David's Bridal in Harrisburg. I do not have enough good things to say! I found my dress as well as my bridesmaids dresses! All of which are stunning (and much more affordable than Tamzen's). I could have purchased 6 dresses at Tamzen's. At the time of this post, they have pretty mint dresses in the store window. My wedding color is mint. I wanted my girls to try them on. However, Tamzen's had much more important business to attend to. I am very thankful they chose not to accept my business because I have found the dress of my dreams!

A few days later when I went back for dress shopping- this time with my family. My family had heard me talk about this shop and how great it was that they were just as excited as I was to go back. We were greeted at the door with an adorable, personalized sign. We got started right away, and we were able to look through each of the dresses ourselves. After pulling probably 12 dresses, we started to try on. Tammy helps you find your perfect dress by looking at your body type, skin tone, engagement ring, and your opinion. She helps you visualize the dress by adding accessories. Doc even dims the lights to show you your dress sparkle in the spotlight. They let me take pictures in the dress I loved so that I could think about my decision. (My sister regretted buying hers so quickly so I felt I need to wait.) Well, here I am excited to go back to order the dress! I can't wait! All of the dresses in this bridal shop are BEAUTIFUL! I feel like mine is guaranteed to wow my groom and guests! I can't wait to show off how unique and well designed my dress is. And, I get a teacher discount! I haven't stopped talking about this bridal shop, and I would recommend to everyone to start your experience here!

She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, but more importantly, she was very honest about what fit me and how the fit would be affected by alterations. Never once did I feel pressured to buy anything or steered toward a particular dress or style. When I went back a second time, I was again met with the same hospitality and kindness of Tamzen and Robert. In the end, thanks to Tamzen and Robert, I will be wearing a gorgeous Sophia Tolli gown for my wedding. If you are shopping for a wedding, I highly recommend Tamzen’s Bridal. . I popped my head in to just see what Tamzen's had to offer and it just so happened that she had a customer change their appointment last minute! She welcomed my Mom and I with such warmth and kindness, and I felt so comfortable her. Her Fiancee Doc is a gentle and sweet man, too! (It was nice to have a Man's opinion as well - and Doc was so endearing that it felt like I had my own father there). They have an amazing selection of gowns - and were so patient as I tried on (and re-tried on) all different styles. They put on different ribbons and hair pieces and even dimmed the lights so that I could see the 'sparkle' in one of my favorite dresses! They really made me feel like it was 'my special day'. My Mom and I left the shop with such happiness that we couldn't stop smiling the rest of the day. Tamzen and Doc are two truly wonderful people - they are a great team and they run a great store! I am so thankful that Tamzen fulfilled her lifelong dream of owning a bridal shop - because I don't think anyone can top what she and Doc offer!
