we thankfully never had to use. He took all the burden about worrying about the venue itself away. Even though it rained the morning of, he was outside wiping chairs for us so our guests could have a great experience. The venue itself was perfect. Exactly as advertised. The biggest draw to us was being able to have the venue for the entire weekend, not having to clean up the night of our wedding, and not having to rush out at the break of dawn. It was exactly what we wanted in a venue.

s we knew we wanted a barn theme and after viewing a few others we stumbled upon Tandale Nature Barn. The instant we drove up we had a feeling this was the place! Austin was the best host and gave us all the detailed information we needed and answered all of our questions we had! I would recommend this venue to anyone and everyone! Our experience and the customer service we were given was top tier!

d before I even walked through the barn doors. The landscaping is gorgeous all on its own, including the outside ceremony sites (three in total). Austin was nothing but professional and exceptionally kind, always answering our questions and was always transparent and offered many recommendations on vendors/what we would need. Everything was seamless the weekend of the wedding, he was always on the grounds willing to help out where he could (when I got there at 8:00 am he was leaf-blowing the patio and making sure the table amounts were correct for our seating chart, all by himself!) and his staff was incredible! We were lucky enough to have rain on our wedding day, so 10 minutes prior to the ceremony our coordinator and Austin called it and switched our ceremony to inside the barn, but it did not matter because it was beautiful. The transition in our plan was a piece of cake, and Austin never once seem stressed or panicked, and made sure I was feeling ok with everything that was happening. The treehouse. OMG, the treehouse! What a beautiful addition to this venue. My wife and I actually rented the space for our engagement photos and Austin was so willing to accommodate us. He even invited us back to spend the night on our one year wedding anniversary. This venue seems as though it is a hidden gem, but it was definitely the most complimented part of our day. Pictures do not do the venue justice, it is truly breathtaking.

The grounds are very well maintained, the venue was very clean, and the gorgeous treehouse was the perfect spot to spend our wedding night in.

The barn provided a great setup with plenty of space for the buffet tables, bar, dance floor and our 14 guest tables. do what worked for our budget and priorities, and truly make it our wedding. The property is meticulously maintained and could not be more beautiful in the summer. Having the venue for the weekend, the Treehouse as the honeymoon suite, and the bridal suite all on the same property allowed us to stay in one spot all day Saturday and truly enjoy the day. Austin is great to work with and could always answer our questions so we knew exactly what to do. Thank you Tandale for truly the perfect day!

The treehouse is STUNNING, the ready room was perfect for the bridal party to get ready in, and the ceremony locations were picture perfect. Austin, the onsite contact was SO helpful. He did absolutely everything in is power to make sure we had the best day of our lives. He was super responsive and great at what he does. Can not say enough about this venue!!!

ey weren't really into dancing. Every part of Tandale is beautiful and our guests made sure to tell us. We got SO MANY compliments on how beautiful the venue was. Although "Barn" is in the name our guests were shocked to see such a classy and romantic space.

ghtfully so! The venue has three (I think) outdoor ceremony sites to choose from, all of which are spaced out well so that it doesn’t feel awkward. Fortunately we didn’t face this problem, but in the case of inclement weather, the ceremony must be held in the reception area which isn’t ideal. What you get - It’s important to know that you are paying for the building and the property only. This includes access from Friday at noon to Sunday at noon, pending other reservations and the tree house to sleep in on the night of the event. You are bringing in everything else - the food, the music, the linens, the alcohol, the bartenders, the decorations, the photographer, etc. There are plus sides to this because a minimum isn’t required for services, but it does take more work to research vendors and organize. I highly recommend a wedding planner, we worked with Tricia Finn Events! That said, I always felt confident with the venue because I knew if everything went wrong, we could bring in a Bluetooth speaker & order pizzas, and the wedding would still look gorgeous because the barn and ceremony site in and of themselves are breathtaking. Location - None of our guests, nor ourselves, are local to Brighton but we had no complaints about the drive even from people flying in. I’d make the trip over and over again for Tandale Nature Barn. The venue is a little bit hidden from the street, so make sure guests know where to go. The city also has a really cute downtown area for people to grab a drink at if that’s their thing. We had room blocks at the Hampton Inn and the Hilton Inn Express which were less than 10 minutes from the venue. After going back and forth, we decided to get a shuttle bus and very glad we did because ride sharing (Uber/Lyft) was very scarce even on a Saturday night. Owner - Oh my! Austin is the BEST! He made sure to stand by our side with everything throughout the entire process. You can tell that he is willing to be involved as much as you’d like for him to. We let our wedding planner work with him for almost everything, but he still contacted us at times to make sure we were happy with everything and got to see the venue when we wanted. He answered all of my questions and always encouraged me to ask whatever I needed. On the day of the wedding, Austin was like our own day-of coordinator along with Tricia Finn Events. He is familiar with and builds a relationship with the vendors to make sure all runs smoothly. If you can’t tell, he’s just great! Advertising - Don’t let the lack of self-promotion deceive you. I was hesitant seeing that TNB didn’t have any posts on Instagram at the time and very minimal things on other platforms. In reality, they don’t need it! The venue is booking events constantly and I wouldn’t be surprised if there just isn’t time to brag about themselves. I recommend using the posts that they’re tagged in to do your research. The guests and photographers do the promoting for them! Text from friend: “The food was amazing, music of course amazing, THE VENUE WAS SOOOOO COOL.“ Said by friend verbally: “I was so obsessed with that venue. I talked to Jared about it the entire car ride back.” To sum it up, we highly recommend Tandale Nature Barn!

The venue is stunning, and I chose the pond to have my ceremony site at, and it was simply magical. This venue is such a hidden gem and I feel so fortunate to have gotten married here. I researched nearly every barn venue in Michigan, and this one by far surpasses all the other ones and what they have to offer. This venue had everything and more that I was looking for, and the pricing is not necessarily cheap, but very fair for what you get. I would get married at this place 100 times over again!!! Absolutely love Tandale Nature Barn.

We got to stay in a tree house suite the night of our wedding as well and it was absolutely amazing. This is the absolute best venue we could have picked. 10/10 recommend this venue! This has to be the best wedding venue in Michigan. There are a lot of comparable wedding venues in the area that offer a small fraction of what Tandale offers and charges 5x the price and aren’t nearly as beautiful.

air conditioning and modern bathrooms. The outside patio was perfect on which to host cocktail hour and guests to enjoy. They also have a modern "get ready" space for the bride and maids, complete with 4 salon chairs and lounge space. All the grounds were well manicured and maintained. Austin was great to work with. Very accomodating and helpful. It was a memorable and beautiful wedding.

he very beginning! Austin was really great to work with through the entire process, including with all of the uncertainty due to COVID. He was very responsive and thorough. The venue really is stunning - there are tons of beautiful spots for photos, and I love that there are multiple options for ceremony sites. The entire vibe of the venue is perfect - it feels upscale and elegant, but also really fun and relaxed at the same time. Guests really enjoyed spending time on the patio and playing lawn games. I also LOVED getting ready in the on-site bridal suite. It's such a pretty space and was very functional. Overall, I would highly recommend Tandale Nature Barn!

at was a beautiful woodsy backdrop, they provided a heptagon arch way that was a perfect addition! The barn is like nothing else around, it has a very industrial feel with amazing lighting, we especially like the bar area and it has a huge gorgeous window right by where the bridal party sits. The bridal suite is incredible, it’s pink and girly and super fun! The staff was amazing and truly helped our wedding come to life! I highly recommend this amazing new venue!
