I think it really says something that my maids of honor both said that when I left this review, I should mention how comfortable we all felt with Travis and Nina. They both were professional, easy going and really did a great job of blending in with everyone. They were the photographers at my friend’s wedding a couple years back and I remember thinking the same thing back then. So when the photos from her wedding came out great, I obviously had to use them for mine too. They are super responsive and take the time to get to know you before the big day. I absolutely would recommend them to anyone getting married.

Choosing a photographer is one of the most important decisions to make when it comes to your wedding day, and it took us a while to find the right one. Enter Travis w/ Tank Goodness Photography. His photos show how obviously talented he is, but what I think is even more important to mention is how personable he is. We first met him for our engagement session and immediately he was able to make us feel comfortable and natural (even my wife - who hates taking photos enjoyed herself!) He also photographed my bridal session & our wedding day and we couldn’t be happier with his work. He captured every genuine and real moment of the night and was a joy to be around! His wife Nina designed our wedding book and again, we could not be happier with her work! Because of the Tanks we have all of the beautiful moments from our wedding day preserved to look back on for years to come. We can’t recommend them enough.

I'm not a believer in internet and social media reviews but I'm going to break my rule because these guys deserve it! My fiancé and I have struggled to rationalize everything going on in the world and stay positive while planning and inevitably postponing our wedding. We were finally able to get it done this weekend and it was a success in large part due to Tank Goodness. Travis and Nina have been awesome through the entire process and were wonderful on our wedding day! The entire night was smooth and perfect and if it wasn't for masks I would have forgot we are in a pandemic. Looking forward to seeing our pictures! If they are anything like our engagement shoot I know they will be wonderful. I will recommend these guys to anybody getting married!

If you want absolute perfection for all your photo needs, stop here. Travis and Nina are really great people (like you want to be their best friend immediately), and they are the best photographers, period. Our venue provided a list of preferred vendors and I went through the entire list or photographers websites. My favorite, by far, was Tank Goodness. I was so afraid to ask for a quote because I didn’t think we could afford them (austin, you know?). Thank goodness (or, tank goodness) Their quote was in our budget (there were others that were more expensive who couldn’t photograph like Travis and Nina). I added on a bridal and a budoir session and couldn’t be happier with the results. The experience was great with both, I felt so comfortable and like I could give any suggestions I wanted. Then the pictures came and I couldn’t be happier. We were a Corona couple so we had a very small ceremony this year and hope to have the big party next summer. I can’t wait to see the Tanks again!

I cannot say enough about how amazing, talented, thoughtful, funny, and considerate Travis and Nina are. My fiancee and I have asked for their help on 3 separate occasions: our engagement photos, my fiancé’s professional headshots, and of course, our wedding day. Each time, the Tanks have blown us away with their accommodation, their service, and their artistic talent. They were the very first vendors that we engaged for our wedding, and they gave us wonderful recommendations that helped us fill out our other services to throw "the biggest little wedding in Texas" (and all the vendors they recommended did a GREAT job too). They are hysterical, fun, and do an amazing job while making the subjects of their photos relaxed and comfortable every step of the way. They are awesome, and if you need ANY photography done (headshots, Christmas cards, wedding photos, pictures of your dog, surveillance pictures of your neighbors who you think are probably Russian spies, pictures of some weird plant that grew on your yard, etc.), you need to drop everything you're doing and call the Tanks. If you do anything else, we swear to you, YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG. The Tanks are the best. End of story.

They were SO PATIENT with me! I was 95% focused on surviving grad school in the months prior to my wedding and then I disappeared under a pile of books afterwards. Despite my inconsistent communication, Tank Goodness was always patient, professional, and enthusiastic about helping my husband and I obtain our dream photos. I looked through my photo book again today and teared up at the gorgeous images of my father-daughter dance and his mother-son dance. I cannot recommend them more highly.

I get to see more examples of beautiful work than the average person because I get the pleasure of having my clients use Tank Goodness and I get to reap the benefits because I get to see all the images. Travis and Nina were an absolute dream team for our wedding. They were fun, professional, and felt more like two friends at our wedding than hired photographers. I found their website online and instantly noticed the emotion they captured on camera compared to other photographers I'd been researching. Their combination of lighthearted, joyous, and epic photos intrigued me and my now husband. We got our engagement photos with Travis first and we had a blast with Travis. We both felt super comfortable being ourselves and getting out of our comfort zone with Travis' questions and prompts to guide us into new shots. Emailing with them has always been prompt and punctual. We received our Engagement pictures super quickly and were more than pleased with the array of photos we received. On our wedding day, Travis and Nina blended in with our wedding party taking fun and creative shots. Efficient in taking group family shots and open to new shots and ideas. During the ceremony they seemingly had just as much fun as we did on the dance floor! Dancing and capturing our guests sweet moves all at the same time. We can't wait to get our wedding photos from them! I can't recommend these two enough. They're fun, professional, and two great humans!

First off, we hired Tank Goodness for our engagement party as they were recommended to us and they were AMAZING!!! After receiving those photos it was a no-brainer and they were hired for our wedding immediately afterwards! I will say, if you are lucky enough to get them as your wedding photographers you will not regret it!!! Travis and Nina are the ultimate dream team in every sense of the word. Not only do they make you feel like you've known them forever but their actual work is insane!! They sent a couple emails prior to our wedding to get an idea of what was truly important to us and they more than delivered. They truly listened and heard everything we wanted and envisioned for the day. Our wedding came 2/2/2020 and if something went wrong, I had no idea of it and nor did the pictures. The night was absolutely perfect in every aspect of the word and it wouldn't have been captured in it's fullness without the dedication they put into their work, they truly didn't miss a thing! Jeff and I will forever be thankful for all the hard work Travis and Nina put into capturing our wedding though pictures. I look at them constantly and always have the biggest smile on my face as it's truly a time capsule back to the best night of our lives. Run don't walk if you're able to hire them as they was everything we could've wished for and more!! If/when we plan another event Tank Goodness will be our first call as they truly listened to what you want and deliver over and above! Before I secured a venue, before I bought a dress, before I began even considering what type of wedding I wanted, I had the Tank's scheduled. I knew I wanted a unique perspective on my wedding photos while still having the expected wedding shots, so when I started googling Austin Wedding Photographers, I think I looked at three websites before clicking on TankGoodness. I immediately called Travis and gave a deposit. I didn't look at a single photographer after that moment. The more I watched their Instagram stories leading up to the wedding, the more excited I became. Travis and Nina are not only wonderful people to be around, extremely timely and organized, but they make a product that is unique, classy, tasteful, edgy, etc.etc. Look at their instagram stories. See how they capture your moments in ways that you wouldn't have imagined. They are worth every penny!!

Travis and Nina are the ULTIMATE DUO! Extremely talented photographers. Our wedding photos turned out amazing (despite it being the windiest day ever, they knew how to make it work) and they got SO many wonderful shots! The turn around time on the photos was incredibly fast. They also are so personable and made everyone feel at ease during photos and the whole day. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Travis and Nina are a great team of photographers! Not only are they very personable and great people overall but they are great at what they do. First came across them through extensive research and then facetimed with Travis. We decided on doing our engagement photos and then go from there. After meeting with him for the photos we knew him and his wife were the best fit for our needs. My husband and I had never taken professional photos, we were very inexperienced in that aspect. Travis coached us and made us laugh while taking our engagement photos. Then at the wedding Nina did the same. Travis with TankGoodness was great! He was there with plenty of time to capture family and our requested photo ops. I was surprised how fast we received our photos back! I was so thrilled with how everything came out. I would definitely recommend!

Hire them!! Travis and Nina are the BEST duo! Not only did our pictures turn out beautiful but they kept everyone organized, and made taking pictures fun. My husband does not love the camera and they made it easy and quick. They also got us our photos back so quick which was such a fun surprise when we were on our honeymoon. One of the first decisions we made was who our photographer would be. It was so important to us to have great photos of our wedding and it ended up being one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Travis impressed us from the first moment we met him at their studio. His presentation and explanation of how they worked was professional and straight forward and we immediately felt comfortable with our decision. Travis took our engagement photos and we couldn't have been more thrilled with how they turned out. On the day of the wedding, Travis and Neena kept us on schedule without feeling rushed. They were able to capture all the best images of the day without feeling like they were underfoot. After the wedding, we met them at their studio to watch a video they put together of all the best images of the day and it was magical. We could not recommend Tank Goodness Photo enough. They are worth every penny!

My wife and I would very highly recommend Tank Goodness. We could not be more pleased with how awesome, friendly and professional Travis and Nina were during the whole planning and event. They fit in so well during the wedding that we had guests telling us afterwards how much they enjoyed Travis and Nina. We had a bit of wedding party drama (that had an affect on pictures) that happened just days before the wedding, and Tank Goodness handled it like champs and made it so easy and painless. We had a pretty good sized wedding, about 300 folks, and they had our pictures to us in less than 2 weeks, on a flash drive and a cool video presentation. The video was even cool and fun to watch being a guy which is saying a lot. They are mailing a real cool custom photo book that they designed themselves and have options to fit anybody's preferences. It was so nice not having to put a photobook together ourselves, as neither of us are very artistic. They did everything for us and have so many options that we really felt like we were in great hands and totally taken care of. We really couldn't be happier and will be recommending them to any friends getting married in central Texas.

Nina and Travis are an amazing duo! They are personable, fun and creative! They manage their time and get you the shots you want. I had many guest complement them that day and after seeing the pictures that I got after ONE week. They are talented and worth it, for sure! And...I am grateful

The Tanks were great to work with and truly went the extra mile to get the shots that were important to us. They also had our photos available in less than 2 weeks! Travis and Nina were amazing! They were so easy to work with, our wedding party and guests loved them, and they captured our day perfectly! They felt like an extension of our wedding party and helped keep the dance floor packed all night while getting some of the best photos.

Travis and Nina could not have been more perfect for our wedding. They are talented, creative, and enjoyable to be around. You could say, "they aren't normal photographers, there cool photographers." I was told that you should make sure you enjoy begin around your photographers and videographer because they are the people who stay with you your entire wedding day. I was first drawn to them because of their work. I did not want a "typical" wedding photography look. Their style is so cool and creative. Then I fell in love after reading their bios and talking with them. Their dynamic and personalities are so fun! My photos seriously could not have looked any better. They captured our big day better than I could ever imagine. If I could give 100 stars to this bomb couple, I would.

We can only say the best things about Travis and Nina! When they told us that we would feel like they were a part of the wedding party, they weren’t kidding. We had an absolute blast with them on the wedding day and felt so at ease as they guided us through the whole day. Their beautiful photos speak for themselves- we are in love with ours! They perfectly capture our wedding and bring back all the same exciting feelings from that day! They also had our photos ready after so quickly, which has made all of our friends jealous :) We 100% will recommend Tank Goodness to all of friends in the future!

The Tanks were absolutely amazing!! They were everything (and more as cliche as that might sound!) we were looking for in photographers. We had around 100 guests and at least 50 have gone out of their way to tell me how awesome our photographers were (5 stars / 100% / A+ -- so pretty good % if I say so myself!). They showed up ready to rock n roll (and early I might add which was a blessing in disguise for the whole day of events). We had three very different spaces in our venue and every space was photographed beautifully. They are very creative with how they photograph the spaces and how they pose you, your SO, your guests, etc. so it doesn’t looked staged or awkward (which we definitely didn’t want). Best part - Travis and Nina danced the night away with us!! It was so fun seeing so many candids on the dance floor. ... About a month before the wedding they sent out a questionnaire asking what photos moments you want captured (perfect, love the planning!). My recommendation - and even if it seems silly - write down every pose you want! Ie. Mom & you, officiant and couple, a certain guest and bride, etc. The day goes by so quickly and you are in the moment and might forget it so that’s why your photographers are there! Also to top it off they were finished with editing our wedding photos in FIVE days - you read that correctly! It was such a joy to see the photos and watch the slideshow (which was a fun fun touch we didn’t expect but it was so incredible to watch while we were on our honeymoon!)

Travis and Nina were INCREDIBLE! They were very easy to work with and extremely responsive during the planning months. The day of, they captured amazing shots that were creative and absolutely perfect. Travis also did our engagement photos, he somehow managed to make an awkward situation enjoyable!! I'm a hobby photographer myself, and so I tend to look at photos and photographers with a more critical eye than most. Having said that, Travis and Nina are the class act of wedding photographers! They shot our daughter's wedding two weeks ago at Vista West Ranch in Dripping Springs and did a fabulous job! We actually had them do a family picture shoot a few days BEFORE the wedding as well! They are laid back and easy going, but maintain perfect professionalism and technique and keep everyone laughing and at ease to get the great shots! And they got the pics back to us in a VERY reasonable amount of time and we had a great evening looking at all of them a few nights ago, marveling at how many great ones they captured! AND the beautiful effects and post editing techniques they incorporate without being over-the-top or gaudy were impressive. They are a fun, quality team and we cannot recommend them highly enough! You won't regret it!

Travis and Nina are the best of the best. They have truly found their calling - they work SO hard, and are incredibly passionate about their work!! Not only do they take the most amazing photos, but they fit right in to any situation. Also, their turn around time is unbelievable. Our photos were ready in no time. Travis and Nina were nothing short of a dream to work with! My husband and I spent months looking at photographers, trying to find somebody that captured our style and meshed with our personalities. We interviewed several different companies and nobody came close to feeling as easy and fun to work with as Tank Goodness Photography. We met up at their studio in Austin and looked through several albums. My favorite thing about Travis was that he wanted to make our experience and our photos what WE wanted - not what they thought looked good. We spent over two hours at their studio just talking (about everything from the wedding to travel to food and drink). When we left, we were certain that they were the right choice for us! Travis did our engagement photos (traveling from Austin to San Antonio with no charge, and even buying us a few beers before the shoot!), my bridal portraits, and he and his wife did our wedding day. We had our engagement images back to us in 3 days. My bridal portraits were ready in 10 days. And our wedding photos were ready in two weeks. It was easy, fast, and convenient to get in contact with Travis throughout the whole process. What I liked most? They made us feel SPECIAL. It didn't feel like this was their entire job and it was the norm for them. Don't get me wrong - they were total pros. But it felt like I was the only wedding they ever cared about! It didn't feel run-of-the-mill or like they were bored. We felt so comfortable with them. They truly just made everything so easy for us. And they may or may not have been the coolest people at our wedding! (LOL) We are having a viewing party at their studio for our photos of the big day this Friday. With the teaser photos already in our hands - I'm absolutely dying to see the rest!

BEST PHOTOGRAPHERS EVER! When I started planning my wedding, my wedding photos were THE most important thing to me. These photos are what you are going to have forever to remember your special day and I am going to show them to my kids one day. You also can't "re-do" these pictures. You have one day, one shot at getting good ones. After MUCH research, I met with Travis. He was so laid back and talked about how he was going to make the groom feel comfortable and will be taking pictures even we don't think he is. Lets just say the groom always less than thrilled to take any pictures, much less posed pictures. Travis not only made him feel comfortable but the pictures are truly AMAZING. After seeing how awesome our engagement pictures turned out, I had zero worries that our wedding photos would come out just as amazing. And they did, and more. They exceeded my expectations and trust me, I had high expectations. ;) I can't thank Travis and Nina enough for capturing our special day as amazing as they did. We will cherish these photos forever. They truly have a gift. Look no further! This couple is the BEST!

HIRE THESE PEOPLE NOW! Our wedding was November 3rd, 2017 in Driftwood, Texas. The most important things to me were the photography and food. So when I started searching, I was SUPER picky about the photographers I reached out to. I met with a couple of people and while I respected their work, we didn't click. There was no real chemistry. I think that's important, and a lack of it can show up in the pictures! When I went to meet Travis and Nina at their cute little studio, I had the best time chatting with them and getting to know about their lives and profession. In fact I had so much fun, I almost forgot to ask about the details for my wedding! I also knew my husband would love them too (and he did!). We did our engagement photos with Travis and it was really fun and a good way to break the ice. It's somewhat nerve wracking to pose for pictures and this was a good way to make it less scary - I highly recommend the engagement photo session. From the time we hired them until the wedding, they were always available for questions by phone or email almost immediately. I never had to wait a long time to hear back. On the day of the wedding, they showed up early and blended right in to the scene! They were very thorough with their work, but laid back and helped put our nerves at ease. They were seriously funny and fun too! They had us cracking up, especially when we went to take our pictures alone after the ceremony. People at the wedding kept asking how long we had been friends with the photographers. It was the best night and they made it even better. Also, our photos were ready in less than two weeks! I was shocked, as I have known people who waited months for their wedding photos. The photos were AMAZING. We went to their studio to view them and it was such a sweet experience. I am truly impressed with Travis and Nina's skills and work. It's just icing on the cake that they happen to be incredibly awesome people as well. Hands down one of the best choices we made for the wedding.

The Tanks are honestly my favorite vendors from our wedding and that's saying something considering how much communication and work is required for wedding photos. We actually started by asking Travis to do our engagement photos, which we weren't even planning on, but we loved their gallery so much we went for it. Travis has a great presence and got some very beautiful pics of the two of us. When it came to the wedding, Travis and Nina were either totally unobtrusive (seriously, where were you guys - I totally don't remember some of the great candids that were taken) or they felt like 2 extra friends just hanging out with us and having a great time (while still managing to get wonderful shots). Literally every person of every taste I have shown the pictures to has gushed about how beautiful they are. They also put together a wonderful slideshow to showcase their work that my husband and I were not expecting, but were very impressed with. I am not a photogenic subject and when I look at the pictures of my husband (who is) and I, I feel absolutely beautiful. I can, will and do recommend Tank Goodness for their talent, their personality, their speed and just generally the fun we had working with them. You will not be disappointed.

Travis and Nina are AMAZING! They were everything I could have hoped for in my wedding photographers. We walked out of the initial meeting with Travis and my husband looked at me and said, "They are it!" Travis took my bridal portraits at the venue and he was so accommodating with my tight schedule since I was visiting from out of state. For the wedding day, I asked them a few days before if they could arrive an hour early and they didn't hesitate to accomodate my request. Travis and Nina are so fun! They made everyone comfortable and were even out on the dance floor. Drue and I are so lucky we found the Tanks! My whole family still raves about the photographers at the wedding and about how easy-going and accommodating of my family's requests!

Travis and Nina are truly amazing!! I am so glad we chose them as our wedding photographers. They were super professional throughout the entire process and made it so simple and easy. They worked together to get the best wedding story through photos during the night of our event, meaning they captured all of the big events as well as small important details. They are both artistically talented and so much fun to hang out with. It was super windy the day of our wedding and they did a great job positioning me so my hair would look nice in photos even though it was blowing everywhere! They also guided us with small changes and movements to make to help make the pictures better. They are so quick getting the photos back too! And Travis worked with me to get the best pictures for our wedding album. I would highly highly recommend them!

Hands down this couple is amazing. My husband didn't want pictures but once he met Travis he felt at ease. We are so lucky and blessed that Travis agreed to fly out to San FRancisco for engagement photos to capture where our story began. It was easy and effortless and they turned out amazing. Last weekend again he made everything so easy. My friends who attended loved the photographers. They fit in like long lost friends. They are passionate about what they do and they are beyond talented. Worth the money!

At first I was hesitant to spend so much on a photographer as I was determined to be below my budget. But in the end, my husband and I are very happy we went back to them and decided to splurge. We got exactly what we asked for and had no difficulties communicating with them from day one. Everyone involved in the wedding was equally impressed with the couple and the high quality of their work. I absolutely loved working with Travis and Nina! When I was looking for a photographer, I wanted a team that could capture natural, candid moments. I absolutely hate drill sergeant photographers that ask you to pose "this way" and "that way" for hours. I decided to go with Tank Goodness not only for their skill but mostly their personalities. Nina and Travis are so fun to work with. I was quite nervous taking our engagement shots in the middle of SoCo with a bunch of strangers around. Travis was able to break that ice and help me feel comfortable, and it shows in his film. On our wedding day, I got so many compliments from my bridal party and friends about how much they liked my photographers. I really felt like I was being photographed by two friends rather than someone I hired. I'd honestly call these guys up again just to do a photoshoot of my dog and me lol.

He was warm and welcoming, and left us with the feeling that we could really trust the Tanks to document the most important day of our lives. We planned our wedding from out of town - they were so great about staying in touch and making us feel comfortable, even from a distance. The day of the wedding, Travis and Nina were prompt, professional, and ready to go... jumping right in to take our getting-ready shots and keep us on schedule. Our Indian/fusion wedding ceremony was photographed beautifully - the attention to detail, and creativity of each shot was perfect. They were also great about getting our large/loud families wrangled together for formal pictures! Travis and Nina blended right in to our reception - we loved that they captured every moment and had fun with our friends and family at the same time. This duo is a true team, with an eye for photography that can only result from years of experience... they worked together to turn the most ordinary settings into extraordinary photos! Our images were ready just a week after the wedding! We met at their studio to view a slideshow of select photos that were put together to really tell the story of our day. Travis also took the time to show us our album options and we were able to completely customize it to our liking. That same day, all of our images were ready for us on a thumb drive, and they set up an online gallery that made it easy to share with friends and family. We just got some of the photos enlarged/hung up on our walls, and can't stop admiring them every time we walk by! We had an amazing and personalized experience with this awesome husband and wife team... they were a blast to work with! Travis and Nina - you truly captured the emotions of our day in every photo. We cannot thank you enough!

There's so many things that I could say about Tank Goodness! My husband and I were the winners of their first ever give away! I didn't believe that our love story won! Our initial meeting was with Travis! Very down to earth and honest. We discussed our wedding vision and what to expect from him! There was always a open line of communication which was another thing that was important to us because of our wedding date changes. The day of my wedding, Travis came and fit right in! My wedding party was convinced that we knew Travis for years prior to the wedding. He made me feel comfortable and at times I forgot he was there. He joked with us, laughed, and danced with everyone! The day was perfect! Our recent meeting was to see a few of the pictures from our day! We enjoyed drinks and snacks while watching the slideshow. I was completely blown away! Our photos are beautiful and I truly believe that Travis captured everything that I will remember for years to come. I can't thank TankGoodness enough for making my day so magical and I look forward to working with them in the future!

We love Travis and Nina. What amazing people. They made our wedding - our guests loved them, out bridal party loved them. We wanted them to put their cameras down and join the party! We haven't even gotten pictures back and I can tell you they are worth every cent. They are highly recommended.
