Everyone commented how beautiful the venue looked. The entire staff was so easy to work with. Thank you for being top notch!

to work with. Colleen was so helpful during the tour and made it so easy to complete the booking process, answering all of our questions quickly. The venue itself is BEAUTIFUL. I was worried at first that it would not fit all of our guests comfortably, but we were able to host 155 guests with room. The outdoor spaces are beautiful and we had several different options for outdoor ceremonies spaces. There were so many spaces for pictures throughout the night. Our cocktail hour ended up having to move inside due to weather and the whole team was so incredible helping move things around last minute. I cannot speak highly enough about our day-of coordinator, David. If I could have David coordinate my life, I would. He was kind, compassionate, easily accessible and during the weekend of the wedding I truly felt like he was invested in making sure we had the best time possible. The wedding was AMAZING and I attribute a lot of that to the team at Tannery Barn. After spending a year and a half planning the day, I was so happy to have no stress on the day-of. During the reception, everything moved so smoothly! David kept us on a timeline, without rushing us. The venue also has so many little touches that make it stand out. The balcony is so cool and it was so fun to see our guests go upstairs to enjoy the party from up top. The courtyard is stunning and makes great for photos. I had so many guests comment about the beauty of the venue and our bridal party could not speak highly enough about the team from Tannery Barn. The venue itself is beautiful and versatile, and the team is incredible. I would book this venue again in a heartbeat!

gorgeous reception area, and a beautifully landscaped outdoor space with a patio, gardens, and a charming bridge. During our tour, we fell more in love with the venue every time we turned a corner. What we didn’t realize when we booked the Tannery Barn though was how exceptional the team would be. They are kind, thoughtful, professional, and genuinely dedicated to making your day everything you’ve dreamed of. He is so knowledgeable, creative, and made our wedding day so much fun . Having him there to lean on for our wedding day gave us peace of mind that everything would go smoothly, and it did! We could not be happier with our choice of venue. It was beautiful, especially after Victoria worked her magic with florals! One thing that was very important to us was that we had an indoor ceremony option that we were just as excited about as the outdoor ceremony option, and The Tannery Barn gave us exactly that!

The Tannery Barn made our reception dreams come true! The space feels intimate and warm, and being there is like a breath of fresh air. When planning a wedding, it is essential to know that the vendors you book are in your corner, and I felt that with The Tannery Barn from the start. I didn't want my wedding to feel like a cookie-cutter wedding, and some venues we visited in our search made us feel like that; however, The Tannery Barn has multiple spaces that allow for your creative juices to flow freely and they support your vision. The outdoor patio is perfect for cocktail hour (and a fun send-off!). Our guests loved playing cornhole and ladder ball on the lawn, and they enjoyed exploring the grounds! Not only will your guests enjoy the food and drinks, but their senses will love the sounds and sights of the nature-filled backdrop of The Tannery Barn. The pavilion has ample space for you and your guests to have the party of the year. The chandeliers, spiral staircase, large windows, and wooden features give the space a modern farmhouse feel. We had plenty of space for our guest list of close to 200 and a nine-piece band. We danced the night away. The historic barn is the icing on the cake. Exposed brick and beautiful hardwood floors give it so much character. It is the perfect blend of historic charm and modern design elements. I wish I could plan another event at The Tannery Barn!

me that it was the one for us! The venue is beautiful inside and out. The staff are professional, experienced, warm & welcoming, accommodating, and went above and beyond for us! We loved the packages the venue offered such as their rental decor collection and hiring a wedding coordinator through the venue staff. It was great having one of their own staff help us through the wedding planning process and work with someone who knows the venue best! Our wedding day was magical, the staff went above and beyond for us and we were truly impressed throughout the day! The venue gives you their preferred vendors and we were so happy we went with their recommendations! The Tannery Barn made us feel so special, and made our dream wedding come true! We can’t say enough how happy we were with our entire experience and would highly recommend choosing the Tannery Barn for your wedding!

The on-site getting ready spaces were perfect and so convenient. The Tannery Barn staff, especially David and Colleen, worked well with our wedding planner both leading up to and on our wedding day to ensure we had everything we needed and that our day went perfectly. A cute little touch was that they had a birdhouse for us to sign on our wedding day to place in their garden!

o celebrate. We had the wedding ceremony at a church in Westminster and then guests drove to The Tannery for the cocktail hour, held in the outdoor patio/gardens, and the reception in the main barn. We had a lot of out of town guests and most of them stayed in Gettysburg, which was a beautiful back country drive (about 20 minutes) between Gettysburg and Taneytown. Guests loved the beautiful gardens of the outdoor space and the barn was such a fantastic place to have a party. The aesthetic of the barn really is as stunning as it looks in photos and everything was clean and well-maintained. Rachel and Casey were friendly and very easy to communicate and work with. The whole team was accommodating and helped make the day so smooth. I was a little worried that the parking and shuttle situation might be a hassle, but it was seamless and caused no problems whatsoever. All of our vendors worked together very well and helped make our day truly amazing. We are so glad we chose to have our wedding celebration at The Tannery and know that any couple that chooses the The Tannery will start their marriage as happy as we did.
