Their warmth and generosity speak volumes about who they are and the business they run and they make you feel like you're the only couple they're working with (although I know they're busy behind the scenes). They listen (and little do you know they take great mental notes) to the bride and groom's stories to really connect with you on a deeper level and go above and beyond to make couples feel comfortable (especially when you're not used to getting your photos taken!). I know they both strive to continuously grow in their experience and skills and it shows in the end result by far. They didn't miss a beat in helping us reschedule when our original engagement photo date was cast-over with smoke from wildfires. They captured all of the details of our wedding perfectly, which I was grateful for because with a large wedding it's hard to see everything and everyone. What is even nicer is they delivered on time (I know couples can worry about this) and the photos were gorgeous. I got so many compliments on them and would highly recommend Tanya and Victor for any couple needing wedding, engagement, or simply lifestyle photos! an, my most important vendor was my wedding photographer because my then fiancé and I decided to forgo a videographer. I found Tanya and Victor through The Knot and I loved their message and their pricing was also affordable for what you got. I definitely wanted two photographers and I wanted to make sure our entire wedding and some of the getting ready portion was photographed too and T&V had so many package options that I was able to easily find exactly what I wanted. Not only did they have numerous packages, the quickly responded to my inquiries and were even able to modify a package so it was just perfect for us. Our package also included an engagement shoot and we decided to drive up north to Muir Woods for the shoot (we live in San Jose, Ca). Tanya was so on top of everything, she even kept an eye on the weather and told us that initial day we had planned was going to have terrible weather so she easily rescheduled us for a day that would be better. The day of our rescheduled shoot, we got to Muir Woods and it was PACKED. I’m talking no parking anywhere and my fiancé and I were already super late. I was practically in tears and when I spoke to Tanya she immediately calmed my fears and basically had a “no worries, we got it covered attitude”. She took us to a new location close by (Mount Tamalpias) and we immediately got to work. They didn’t have any attitude with us for running behind and they didn’t Short us in our time either. True definition of professionals. The other reason I fell in love with them is that my husband is very, very shy and the idea of people taking photos of him totally freaked him out. T&V were just amazing and they talked the entire time and had us laughing and enjoying ourselves and the time flew by. So, having had this experience we were so excited for them to shoot our wedding. The day came and they were prompt, on time, and had props for aiding in various shots. Tanya kept my girls and I on time (because I was a mess and would have probably missed my own ceremony without her) and while she was with us Victor was with the guys. They also had another assistant who helped out with various aspects of the day. Everyone at our wedding loved them and just having them shoot the wedding would have been enough to earn them 5 Stars, the thing that really put them over the top was towards the end of the wedding, they pulled us aside and handed us a framed black and white picture of us from our wedding day. I don’t know what magic they pulled, but our wedding wasn’t even over and we already had a beautiful memory of the day. They are the most thoughtful and professional people. My husband and and I were married back on Sept 9th 2017, so I am SUPER delayed in writing this review but these two are so important to me I wanted to be sure to give them the praise they deserve! By choosing Tanya and Victor you are absolutely choosing the best and they will treat your wedding like their own! I could seriously write about them forever and if I could, I would give them a million stars! We already have plans to use them for maternity pictures when the time comes! Thank you Tanya and Victor! hat she was the perfect photographer for us. She made us feel comfortable and excited for our upcoming photoshoots. We aren't the type of couple that takes a lot of photos, so being in front of a camera gave us a little anxiety - but right off the bat, Tanya & Victor set the tone and we had so much fun taking our engagement pictures. On the day of the wedding - which was unbelievably hot - they ran around all day capturing all the little details and making sure every precious moment was also caught on film. They were so great to work with and we completely recommend them to any bride & groom looking for some awesome people to work with.
Also, I am a huge procrastinator and literally just ordered my wedding photos (over a year later). Tanya put up with my constant need to have the gallery expiration extended so that I would have time to order photos. That just shows that they care about their clients not just during the timeframe of your wedding, but even after it!

We love Tanya and Victor! From the moment we met them, in a Starbucks in the Mission, they were incredibly professional, prompt, and always followed through. And, just in general...
they're always in synch with each other, coordinated complementary - with Tanya leading some of the more formal shots and Victor behind the scenes with more of a journalistic style. But maybe most importantly, they were so warm and excited for us! They were a part of the warmth and love that made the process of getting married so special.
They started out helping us look for venues for our engagement shoot, and had many good suggestions for locations around the bay area where they had already shot. We ended up picking a spot in Saratoga, which was a LONG drive for them, but they were completely flexible and despite having never shot there before, they had lots of good ideas for how to stage the shoot. The pictures were amazing, and the day itself was a wonderful memory!
For the wedding day, everything was super easy. With Victor hanging out with the guys and Tanya starting with the bridesmaids. We didn't have a wedding coordinator, but Tanya and Victor were actually so synched up that they helped keep us on track when our timeline started to lag. They did a great job of coordinating pictures without inserting themselves into the flow of the wedding. The pictures arrived about a month later, which was faster than we were expecting.
At the end of the day we couldn't have been happier with our decision to go with them. It honestly wouldn't have been the same without them!

When we found out that our wedding would be taking place at the same wedding venue that held their own – the decision to work together was done, it was meant to be! Every part of our wedding planning process with Tanya and Victor was a joyful time. Our engagement shoot was dreamy, romantic, and effortless with their guidance. The photos were more beautiful than we ever could have imagined! Prior to our wedding day, Tanya had us fill out a very detailed wedding photography checklist/questionnaire that made for such a well-executed and organized day. The way Tanya and Victor split their time during our wedding day was brilliant. Before the ceremony, Victor worked with my groom and his groomsmen while Tanya stayed with my family and me. Following the ceremony and during the reception, Tanya took more of the posed photos while Victor captured wonderful candid moments. Their teamwork creates a beautiful story and captures even the smallest details in time. Tanya and Victor spoiled us with love and generosity throughout the entire wedding planning process. I could not have imagined working with another wedding photographer or team. Our wedding day and our engagement for that matter would not have been the same without their love and support – we are forever grateful and we cannot wait to see our photos and work together again in the future!

My husband and I were unable to meet Tanya and Victor before the big day which made me a little nervous! But I had no reason to be nervous. They both fit in with our group perfectly. Tanya was so professional as the girls were getting ready and she made me comfortable. They were able to capture all of the special moments of our day.

Because of the distance, we weren't able to spend much time together before the big day, yet both me and my husband were 100% comfortable with them, despite usually hating taking pictures. We also weren't able to do an engagement shoot, so Tanya is making us a picture album, which I will treasure forever.

What I enjoyed the most is that they work together as a team- while Tanya was taking pictures of me as a bride with my bridesmaids, Victor was shooting pictures of my husband the groom and his groomsmen at the same time. My husband's family is Spanish and it was an added bonus that they're both bilingual, which made taking pictures with the family easier. They were very attentive throughout our whole wedding- they took lots of pictures. At the end, they came together as a team to collaborate with one other in order to choose the best pictures for us.
They provide the option of making you a photo album as well, which I loved. I didn't want the hassle of creating one and I trusted them more than myself to make one for me. They did a wonderful job making the album for our engagement session and I will soon have them make us a wedding photo album as well.
They are very thoughtful individuals and stay in touch with you even after your wedding is over. For Christmas, they sent my husband and I a beautiful candle with a sweet note. I was really touched by that act of kindness.
If you want the BEST, I highly recommend choosing Tanya & Victor. At the end of the day you'll be glad you did because they won't let you down!

I wasn't sure I wanted an engagement shoot, but in retrospect it was a really good way to get to know our photographers and to get comfortable with them before the the big day. We went to the top of a mountain in Marin, and Tanya and Victor made great use of the natural beauty of the place.
Before the wedding, Tanya and Victor were very responsive to our emails and were flexible enough to come up to visit the venue the week before and scout out some of the locations for photos. The day of the wedding, they managed to get so many beautiful photos while remaining fairly unobtrusive. Our guests even commented on how great they were to have around, and they would pull the photographers aside to get family photos done during the cocktail hour. This was so nice for us, because we had a lot of family that hadn't seen each other in a very long time and it was an exciting reunion.
What really stood out for us (besides the incredible quality of photography) was how amazing Tanya and Victor were to work with. Besides being well organized, talented, responsive, and punctual (a dream when planning a wedding), they are just the absolute sweetest people you could imagine. They did so much to make us feel comfortable in front of the camera and feel special at our wedding. They truly went above and beyond: before and after the wedding, they gave us a few small gifts to show their appreciation and excitement for our big day. At the end of the night, Tanya and Victor even gave us a framed photo of us that they had taken a few hours before. We were totally blown away!! With all the emotion of that day, I thought it was a really nice touch to have that immediate tangible record of how it felt to be married.
