We were so impressed with her work that we even hired her to take our daughter's senior pictures, which turned out just as amazing as our wedding photos. necting with all of them, I felt like I hadn't found the right fit for my vision for the day. With that, I struck out on my own to find the perfect wedding day photographer. It was important to me that I found a photographer that would shoot both film and digital photos and that had a clean, modern aesthetic. And that's when I found Tanya! From our first call Tanya was the picture of professionalism and made us feel so comfortable. I truly felt like we were her #1 most important client from start to finish, but I have a feeling this is how Tanya makes all her clients feel :) Tanya knocked it out of the park for both our engagement session in Central Park and at Top of the Rock and on our wedding day. From the family portraits, to our first look, to all of the detailed shots she took, Tanya brought her A+ game and we will cherish our photos for the rest of our lives. Tanya is not only an incredible artist who has a keen eye in making every shot special, but she also has a great personality and even in crowded places (Central Park during our Engagement Shoot and Brooklyn Bridge Park for our first look) she was able to get clean, beautiful shots of us with NO ONE ELSE IN THEM. The photos look like we rented out both of these busy locations for the day, when in reality Tanya is super patient and assertive in getting the perfect shots. Tanya had an additional photographer with her for our wedding day and also brought an assistant to roll film to ensure she lost zero time in capturing the day. She also showed up an hour plus early to our bridal suite beyond our contracted time with her to ensure she had plenty of time to setup and get detailed photos. I could not recommend Tanya enough - fellow brides, RUN don't walk to lock her down. Her photos brought me to tears and I am so happy I found the perfect wedding day photographer.

Tanya was patient and not at all pushy - she followed up once or twice after our initial conversation to make sure I was still in the "deciding" phase and didn't pressure me to make a decision before I was ready. She delivered our preview photos by the next morning, and we received a huge digital album within the exact timeframe she promised. talented delivering breathtaking photos, it was a no-brainer that I chose her to photograph my parents’ surprise vow renewal for their 40th wedding anniversary. Since the vow renewal was a total surprise for my parents, we set up a family photo shoot in the Gowanus neighborhood as the cover story so they could get all dolled up. I should mention that we, as a family, have NEVER had professional photos taken of us so my folks were a bit apprehensive at first. But Tanya put everyone at ease immediately by asking us questions, cracking jokes, gently teasing us, and being her genuinely kind self! She’s such a beautiful, fun spirit with incredible attention to detail, taking every shot possible to bring out our different personalities and capturing these touching moments between my parents (and us, as a family) that we’re going to cherish for a lifetime! When it came time for the actual vow renewal, Tanya left to meet us at the venue and said her goodbyes as if she had no idea what was coming next. So when my parents got to the venue for their vow renewal ceremony, they were completely surprised! There were so many feels - my parents cried, my sister and I cried, our guests cried! ALL THE FEELS, captured lovingly by the wonderfully talented Tanya. In the end, my parents were pretty much ready to adopt her - constantly mentioning how blown away they were with her. We all had such an awesome time working with Tanya that now we’re planning on taking family photos EVERY YEAR with her! Maybe twice a year because life’s too damn short to not capture the amazing times, right?! PLUS, and probably the most important part for everyone reading these reviews - her sneak peek alone was out-of-this-world breathtaking! Our minds were completely blown away! Chances are, our home will become a museum of the incredible memories Tanya captured. She even went out of her way to help select shooting locations that were meaningful for us. I’m a wedding planner, so I’ve worked with a lot of photographers in the past, and she’s one of the best. Not only is she warm and communicative, she’s also an excellent artist. Tanya made the session so intimate and personal for us, it felt like a date! The time spent snuggling, looking at one another, and just being together while she photographed us was a refreshing break from the hustle and bustle of daily life in NYC. By the end, we felt really bonded to one another, and we now have stunning portraits and candid shots that we can’t wait to hang in our home! I look forward to holding onto these photos for years to come, and I am thankful to have a memento of our first year in New York. 1000% recommend!
