We had a completely non-traditional, weekend-long wedding at Renora Lodge & Retreat Center — more like a three-day summer-camp celebration than a typical ceremony — and Tanya was the reason everything came together so smoothly. From the start, she handled every bit of coordination with care and calm professionalism. When we hit snags with our caterers, she stepped in and handled communication seamlessly. When guests arrived Friday, she was there to greet them, make sure they knew where to go, and that everyone felt welcome and comfortable in their cabins.
Tanya went above and beyond in every way. She somehow found giant Connect Four and inflatable hamster balls for lawn games (which became crowd favorites!) and made sure every little creative detail we’d planned was beautifully executed — from the ceremony décor to surprise touches like acknowledging a young guest’s birthday during the festivities. She made sure we were fed, hydrated, and actually got to enjoy the day, and her team — her husband and assistant — were equally kind, capable, and genuinely wonderful to have around.
Our weekend felt effortless because Tanya was behind the scenes making sure everything was effortless. We truly couldn’t have done it without her, and we’re endlessly grateful for her organization, warmth, and care. If you’re planning any event — especially something outside the box — do yourself a favor and hire Tanya. She’s the reason our wedding weekend was pure joy.

We are so glad we had Tanya as our wedding planner and day-of coordinator. Our wedding was in Harbor Springs, and since we didn’t have much reference for local vendors, Tanya’s guidance was invaluable. She connected us with great options, was always so easy to reach, and stayed flexible with all of our needs along the way.
On the wedding day we didn’t have to worry about a single thing or talk to any vendors, and everything went perfectly. Tanya made the whole process feel stress-free, and we couldn’t be happier that we chose her!

Tanya was an absolute DREAM coordinator. I booked her for a “day-of” coordinator, which included a few touch-point meetings before our wedding and she was an absolute rock star. She had so many great questions for me that I did not even think of, and I am type A! She had the hard conversations at our wedding behind the scenes and made things happen, no matter what it took. She also made sure to take care of the small details, like getting my husband and me a drink immediately after our grand entrance, taking care of my parents so they did not have to lift a finger, and pulling me away from those long guest conversations you cannot seem to find a way out of. She thought of things before I even processed what was happening. A 10/10 coordinator.

Working with Tanya was fantastic! She was super professional and very supportive. Months before our big day she helped keep us on track to make sure we had everything ready, and then on our wedding day she kept things running smoothly. She is very organized and even cleaned and packed up everything so all we had to do was drive away at the end of the night. Because of her hard work we got to focus on the moment and enjoy our wedding! Would definitely recommend her to anyone planning a wedding!

Tanya was an excellent wedding planner for us. Her endless amount of knowledge really helped to make things as easy as possible. She always had great ideas and has a surplus of people to contact for your wedding needs. She was helpful for recommending vendors to us, helping us understand what questions to ask, setup a timeline, and communicate with each of our vendors. Having her help took a lot of stress out of the planning process and made us feel more confident that things would go smoothly. On the wedding day she took care of all issues without us finding out so as to keep us carefree. She was present for the entire day of the wedding and her priority is to make the day go how you and your spouse want. For example, she helped us end the reception early on the fly when my new husband and I decided we were too tired to make it the full night. Tanya knew how to make our big day happen according to our wants! She will not pressure you to do anything you don't want and was always open to our own ideas. I would recommend her services to anyone I know.

What can I say about Tanya? I am honestly short of words for everything she did on my wedding day and leading up to the big day I will be forever grateful for! We are SO happy we hired Tanya Noordyke as our wedding coordinator. We communicated with Tanya throughout the majority of our planning process but had Bayli as our day-of coordinator with an assistant. The information carryover was excellent, Bayli and her assistant did a wonderful job at executing all tasks on time and because of this we were able to focus on the special moments of the day. We especially appreciate Bayli giving us emotional support during the harder moments of the day. From the very beginning Tanya was very attentive, detail oriented and enthusiastic about helping me plan and coordinate our special day. Tanya helped with our parent's 65th wedding anniversary party and did a fabulous job! She is very responsive, organized and super helpful. She also met with us ahead of time to go over the details and make sure everything was thought out and ready to go. I could not recommend her enough. I was planning a wedding in Grand Rapids, while living in West Virginia. Tanya is the only reason I even was able to have the amazing Wedding that we did! My wedding day was an all around perfect day, and I owe so much of that to Tanya!! When I first started planning my wedding, I knew I would want extra help for the day of, so I booked Tanya. Not until it got close did I realize just how many little details go into the big day, and how much of a huge help Tanya would be. She was amazing! She was so efficient and we were always on time or ahead of schedule. She thought of all the small details, asking so many helpful questions and doing things that I would not have even thought of. I had so much comfort knowing that if a problem arose, Tanya would be there to solve it. There were very minimal hiccups that came up day of, and Tanya notified me and fixed the issues so quickly. She was always very kind, great with communication, and got along with the rest of my vendors very well! I would 100% recommend Tanya to anyone!

Tanya made my daughter's wedding day AMAZING! She was so detail-oriented and picked up the slack when other vendors, and the venue, fell behind! She saw to every detail from the months leading up to the wedding, the rehearsal, the ceremony, and the reception! She even stayed until the last song - "The Parting Glass!" From the moment Tanya joined us in our planning, she made my daughter and I feel better and less anxious. The best part of it all is that I feel as if I've made a new friend and I look forward to planning future weddings with her! Thank you again, Tanya! We had a truly amazing experience working with Tanya to coordinate our wedding! At our first meeting she helped us figure out exactly how much guidance we wanted from her vs what sorts of decisions we wanted to make ourselves. She then supplied us with lists of amazing vendors to choose from and guided us to help make the right decision for our wedding. These vendors turned out to be absolutely amazing all around! She was incredibly prompt in response to our questions, and helped us keep on top of the things that needed to be done at different times. In the weeks leading up to the wedding she helped coordinate the timeline and other details with all the different vendors to make the day seamless. On the day of the wedding itself she took care of essentially everything and helped make the day so stress free - this let us enjoy the day to its full extent and enjoy every single moment! She was so attentive to detail, kind, and helped us figure out what we wanted to make the day our dream come true. We cannot recommend her highly enough!!

Tanya is worth every penny! We hired her as a day-of coordinator, but she helped answer any questions that came up prior to the event and FAST! And reached out after the wedding too! I had really specific ideas on how I wanted things to be, and despite my less than great communication skills, she nailed every detail! She knew when it was important to ask us what we wanted and when to handle it herself which made the night go so smooth. We have some strong personalities in our family and she handled all of them with such professionalism! 10/10 would recommend!

Her communication, organization, creativity, knowledge of "all things wedding" and all around kindness made us so glad we had her managing the day. Tanya, Cheryl, and Maddie made our wedding dreams come true at every step in the process. Cheryl and Maddie brought a thoughtful, professional style to our wedding day. They were present without being intrusive, helping things to run so seamlessly for us. And they were totally willing to work with us on some of our more "unusual" ideas, which we definitely appreciated! They even went above and beyond in more ways than one! My family was supposed to drop off items at the venue, but nope, Cheryl and Maddie offered to pick them up instead. We didn't have a rehearsal the night before, but we were able to squeeze one in before the ceremony and Cheryl and Maddie gave us the best advice. I asked for locals to take flowers (without thinking about the fact that I chose bud vases) and Cheryl and Maddie packaged them into adorable bouquets for our guests. Tanya was the absolute BEST FIT for our wedding!! We were so pleased with the direct, immediate responses from her with any kind of questions or concerns as she helped us plan our wedding to make sure everything went as smooth as possible! Not to mention she is super sweet and went out of her way to meet me in Tennessee as she came down for a different event and it just worked out so magically! We also live in Tennessee but had our wedding in Michigan, so she was at a couple of meetings for us that we were not able to be present for as well and acted on our behalf to make sure everything was organized and even created a step by step guide/event timeline stating what was supposed to happen at what time. We are so grateful for Tanya and her assistant who helped make our day the best day ever and 1000% recommend her services to any couple!

Tanya was awesome!!! We wouldn't have had such a flawless, beyond high expectation wedding day without her. She was THE most important vendor for me, as a single mother of the bride. I was able to be totally present during the entire day. Tanya was always available for any little comment or need, and acted on it immediately. She even helped us ahead of the wedding day with an extended issue with our jeweler. It helped to have her input and to run interference to get the issue addressed. She is such a vibrant and enthusiastic personality, I just can't say enough good things about her. I have recommended her to all my friends, and not just as a special vendor, but as a necessity.

Tayna’s expertise helped our wedding day to go so smoothly! She was available to us whenever we needed her and would help us work through any questions we had prior to our wedding. She would also check in with us to see what we need and make sure the things we needed to get done were done. Highly recommend her!

Tanya was wonderful!! I couldn't recommend her more highly! She did a great job of keeping us on track and coordinating everything, not just the wedding day but also the days/months leading up to the wedding. She recommended many of our vendors (hair/make-up, trolley service and desserts). We loved all of our vendors! She kept everything running smoothly the day of, we couldn't have asked for a better point person. I wish I could give her more than 5 stars, I would definitely recommend her to any of my friends or family!! Thank you, Tanya, for making our big day so special!!

Tanya was detail oriented, kind, funny, and so gracious during our entire wedding prep. She was prompt in her responses and always put us first. This was especially obvious when she would give us tips that were successful for her past couples. Everything that she did was for us and in our best interest while respecting what we wanted for our Wedding Day. Tanya and Cheryl were great to work with. The wedding ceremony ended earlier than expected and Tanya worked with the venue to serve the food and open the bar so everything ran smoothly. She was my eyes, ears and decision-maker the day of the wedding so that I could enjoy my daughter's beautiful day.

We LOVED working toward our October 2022 wedding with Tanya and absolutely recommend her for any event planning. Tanya alleviated a lot of our stress early on in our planning process: she knows the Southwestern Michigan wedding scene very well, so she ably guided us through the planning process. We appreciated Tanya’s expertise at every step of our planning but especially on our wedding day, on which both she and our assistant were well-loved by our family and friends. We miss her already.

I hired Tanya as my day of Coordinator and I couldn't have been more happy with my choice. She was wonderful and made me feel so important. She had such helpful advice but also supported my thoughts. We were in contact many times before the event and she was in contact with my vendors and venue-even going to the location ahead of time to get the lay of the land. I even had an issue with my photographer and Tanya reached out and handled it immediately.
The day of-She kept everything running to schedule and was there to handle it when things needed adjusting so I was able to keep it out of my mind.
The required items for our planned exit had unfortunately not been prepared as intended, Tanya and her assistant single handedly prepared the items minutes before they were needed and noone even knew there was an issue. As my husband and I danced until the lights turned on and we absolutely had to leave, we realized Tanya had cleaned up all the decorations and presents getting them to the cars and we had nothing left to do but walk away in wedded bliss.
I know that Tanya was an integral part of the best day of my life.

Tanya went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. She was on top of everything! Any issue that came up throughout the night she handled quickly without us even knowing about it. There’s so much work she did behind the scenes on wedding day that truly made a difference in how our day ran. She helped with so much of the decor set up and clean up and it all looked so beautiful! She even went out of her way to buy our grandfather a cup of coffee at the end of the night and bring it back to the venue. She truly cares about her job and it shows!

Tanya was extremely helpful with organizing my wedding. She was always happy to answer questions and chat. On the wedding day she took care of everything so I could just enjoy! The day after she also took charge on correcting some vendor issues, which really exceeded my expectations!

Tanya was an AMAZING wedding planner. She went above and beyond for us. She is very knowledgeable of the wedding industry and helped guide us through the planning process. Planning a wedding can be very stressful but with the help of Tanya it turned out to be the PERFECT wedding day. She even helped hang our neon sign which was not an easy task. Our only daughter just was married and my daughter hired Tanya. I have two single sons and if I have any say… Tanya will be doing those weddings too!
What I appreciate the most about Tanya was her professionalism, her compassion and her attention to detail.
I’ve known her for years and she’s hard working and very ethical. I felt she had our back in dealing with the venue and other vendors. She and her team were amazing and nothing got by Tanya. She was alway 1 step (or 3) steps ahead.
