ls, and was able to answer every question and concern we had! We had our ceremony at the Kachina basin. Overall it was a very beautiful location minus all the downed trees from a previous storm. Our reception was held at the Bavarian (we were told we were the first wedding to be held there) it was very easy for our guests to walk from the ceremony site to the Bavarian. Our wedding was held outside on the deck. The Bavarian did have a fixed menu so we were not able to change anything, but the food was very very good. We were however able to opt out of their dessert and bring our own. They also provided all the silverware and plate settings. We did not have a DJ but were we able to plug in our phone and play the music through their speaker system. Lauryn and the other Taos staff members were with us the whole time and were able to accommodate for all our requests.

We absolutely loved the venue, the setting is gorgeous. But the people you get to work with make it so special. One other thing to mention is that the food is incredible. We did the Rio Hondo Buffet and are still talking about the food with our guests months later. The green and red chile with enchiladas + the red chile chocolate sauce on the churros - seriously drooling writing about it now. If you're looking for the perfect mountain wedding, you've found it!
