Tap the Coast was everything I dreamed of and MORE! Where do I even begin?! While planning my rustic elegance farm wedding, I stumbled across Tap the Coast and immediately fell in love with their beautiful vintage horse trailer converted into a mobile bar. I knew it would be the perfect addition to our wedding! After getting the green light from my wedding planner, I reached out to Dannon, the owner, and fell in love with her from our very first phone conversation. She made the entire process sound so simple, exciting, and FUN! I don’t think I’ve ever put down a deposit so quickly! And let me tell you, that vintage horse trailer was even more beautiful in person! Parked outside our reception space and decorated with extra florals, it was an absolute showstopper. Our guests LOVED it! One of my favorite parts of working with Tap the Coast was our private, in-home cocktail tasting. Dannon came to our home and prepared our custom signature cocktails for us to sample. Getting to spend an evening tasting cocktails with my husband-to-be, asking questions, and finalizing all the little details was such a fun and memorable part of our wedding planning experience. She even gifted us a bar tool set to keep at home! It was such a thoughtful touch that made the experience even more special. From start to finish, everything was absolutely seamless. Dannon and her team handled our alcohol purchasing, so all we had to do was provide a credit card authorization, and just like that, we had an open bar! One less thing for this bride to worry about! On our wedding day, we had two AMAZING bartenders who kept the drinks flowing and our guests happy. I don’t think anyone waited more than a couple of minutes for a drink! When Dannon explained that they batch their cocktails to keep service running smoothly, I thought, GENIUS! Our guests raved about our signature cocktails, the beautiful bar, and the incredible service. I never heard a single complaint, and it meant so much to me to be able to give our guests such a wonderful experience. If you’re looking for a bar vendor who genuinely cares about your vision, communicates beautifully, pays attention to every detail, and makes the entire process feel effortless, look no further than Tap the Coast! Hi! I’m Dannon - Owner & Founder of Tap the Coast. I’m a proud native of the Pensacola area, a mother, passionate community volunteer and coffee lover. I discovered the mobile bar / beverage service industry in 2018 and immediately fell in love with the business model. I searched but was unable to find anything like it in Northwest Florida and saw it as an opportunity to bring a new and exciting concept to the local scene. Added bonus: it combined my love of people and entertaining with creative, Pinterest-worthy designs. So I set out to make this dream a reality. Our vintage camper debuted in late 2019 as the panhandle’s first mobile bar experience. Launching a business during a pandemic wasn’t exactly the plan I had in mind, but even still we made it through and can look back with gratitude for how far we’ve come. With a little luck, a great network of industry professionals, the best staff a girl could ask for, and the help of an incredible team of business mentors, Tap the Coast has quickly grown to be the largest fleet of mobile bars in North Florida. The future of Tap the Coast includes additional rental options in a variety of styles to meet the needs of clients’ events large and small - from beaches to barns. We are also looking forward to adding services including cocktail workshops, introducing new retail products and will be expanding our service area.

To start, the signature cocktails we carefully chose were swapped, and guests were being served the wrong drinks for the first part of the night. One of the main reasons we selected this vendor was because we were told drinks would be batched in advance to keep things flowing — that didn’t happen. Instead, there were long lines at the bar that slowed everything down and pulled guests away from the reception. On top of that, drinks weren’t served during the toasts, which went on for over half an hour. There was never any mention that this would be the case, and it felt like a big miss, especially during such a key part of the evening. To make matters worse, the bartender tried to shut down an hour early — without warning — while we were still out on the dance floor celebrating. I’ve reached out multiple times since the wedding to address these concerns, but aside from one vague response saying someone would follow up (which never happened), we’ve heard nothing back. For a company that markets itself as a professional wedding service, this level of communication and service is unacceptable. As the groom, I wanted our guests to have a great experience and for the night to go off without a hitch — and unfortunately, Tap the Coast fell short. I can’t recommend them based on how our wedding was handled.

our initial phone call with the owner (Dannon), we were positive we wanted to move forward with them to bartend our wedding. We used the Piaggio bar and it was one of the focal points of our reception. All of our wedding guest (~150) absolutely loved the bar and Dannon. She is so professional and personable. From start to finish she made the process simple and helped us craft together our signature wedding drinks, all of which were AMAZING! Now we're trying to figure out what else we can use Tap the Coast for. I highly recommend using them for all of your bartending needs.

her bar would come into play. Our venue was picky about outside vendors so we only used the photobooth, but just that alone was worth it and the bar was cute for photos! The photobooth was a super fun addition for guests (and us) to get a break and take a goofy little breather. I love that I have those photos on top of my photographer's photos to look back on the most special day of my life thus far. Dannon is a joy to have as a guest and we truly enjoyed her service. If you're wondering if you should make this a part of your special day, i'd say it is well worth it. Dannon responds quickly and worked well with our wedding planner as well.
