Chris and Jill—THE dynamic duo—supported by a team of smiling and caring team members who put guests first, made sure that our son and new daughter-in-law enjoyed a wonderful and memorable kick-off to their beautiful wedding weekend. The Food was Fabulous! Our family and friends are still talking about the excellent meal at Tapawingo! High praise indeed for the delicious appetizers, entrées, sides, salad, food, wine and drinks. So many excellent options, too. Spectacular Venue and Décor! Upon entering the main dining room guests are greeted by an expansive, vaulted ceiling with draped fabric, soft lighting, and floor-to-ceiling glass that overlooks several fairways affording plentiful views as the sun sets in the west. A lovely patio just off the dining room is easily accessible, too. The tables and other décor are overseen by Jill who expertly pulls together colors & patterns, tablecloths, napkins, centerpieces, and other adornments. Meticulous attention to detail! Every detail was taken care of from the temperature of the room, to the precise moment to open the drapes to reveal a spectacular Autumn sunset, to ensuring that elderly guests were assisted as needed. Just perfect! Communication was above-and-beyond… with Chris and Jill responding to every question we had along the way—usually the same day! So appreciated! ‘How did you guys find this place!!?’ Truthfully… we’ve lost count how many guests have asked how we found Tapawingo. He never made me feel foolish for asking a question and always went above and beyond to make things perfect. When I tested a video I wanted to play during the reception and it didn’t work he called in his technology team to get it working. He wouldn’t take no for an answer. He made sure I had the video that meant so much to me. The wedding reception was absolutely stunning and I got endless complements on the food and people gushed over the beautiful reception room. Thank you Tapawingo for helping an overwhelmed bride have the reception of her dreams!

Not to mention, the food was absolutely DELICIOUS. We were lucky enough to attend some tasting nights to choose our perfect menu and even meet some awesome vendors that we chose, who helped make our special day so amazing. All of our guests raved about how great their dinner was! We have absolutely zero complaints about this venue and the amazing staff, we’d recommend them to anyone!

During the reception he checked in with us a few times (without being a burden) to make sure we didn't need anything, and he also checked in with my parents to help with anything they needed. Throughout the entire process, Chris absolutely made our night so much less stressful. On top of all of this amazing service, the PRICE of Tapawingo cannot be beat. Our reception looked like it cost a fortune, when it absolutely did not. The location is great for beautiful photos on the course, or at Laumeier Sculpture Park, which is just a mile away. Chris made our day so easy to navigate and he was so responsive to any question or issue we had - we really could not have asked for a better person to work with us for such a big event in our lives. We'd recommend it x1000 to anyone looking for a beautiful venue with great views, a great sunset, amazing food, and an easy way to package up everything from decorations, to photographers, to food. We wish we could get married there every year!

He arranged for separate meals for our vegetarian guests, including a vegetarian kid's meal. Our guests loved the food - the toasted ravioli, prime rib, and late night pizza were a hit. We loved how the venue had multiple places for guests to mingle - the dance floor, the large patio, and the bar area with two large flat screen TVs. We also chose a photo booth as part of the upgrade, and it was so popular with our guests. Chris has sent us a flash drive of all the photo booth images so we can see all the fun photos of our guests. I could go on and on about how fantastic our experience was. I wish I could give Tapawingo 10 stars!

not only easy, but fun. I loved that I could get everything done at the venue- food, drinks, photo booth and decor all in one place which makes planning hassle free. Jill worked with me to create the perfect look I was going for and she nailed it! The table cloths, center pieces candles, were exactly what I wanted! I got so many compliments on our reception! Guests said it was the best food, and open bar they have ever had at a wedding- everyone loved having the late night pizzas too! One thing I would caution about is that they have an outside florist/event planner that they use for the centerpieces that are included in the pricing of the packages. She was not good at all about returning phone calls and I was disappointed in the way my centerpieces turned out because they looked absolutely nothing like the pictures I had shown her during our sit down meeting. She didn’t even use the correct flowers that we paid extra for to have her put on our wedding cake. If you have the option of going with your own florist I would highly recommend it.

We got amazing shots on the course which we were allowed to take the golf carts out and use them (my bridal party had so much fun driving them around) The food was AMAZING as well! I'm still getting compliments on the food and venue a month later. Chris even doubled checked on some food choice for some guests with allergies which was very accommodating about it, put our mind at ease that all our guests could enjoy the delicious food without worrying! I could not have asked for the day to go any more perfectly than it did! Tapawingo staff was great as well (only downside was that they started pulling decorations and drinks off the tables at 10:15 when the reception wasn't over until 11), but besides that they were very attentive and helpful! Everyone had so much fun at the photo booth as well that you can rent through them at such a great price! If you're looking for a gorgeous venue, with a gorgeous view and amazing food this is the place to go!

We originally planned to have the ceremony outside but with the date change and not knowing what the weather would be like we had it inside, I was nervous at first not knowing but it was transformed, we still had an isle to walk down and it turned out beautiful. We had 1 vegan and 2 vegetarians and they were able to accommodate a meal for all 3 separately. My one bridesmaid who is the vegan said it was the best vegan meal she had ever had at a wedding. Overall it was perfect and I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking for beautiful scenery and a nice reception hall with excellent staff!

Everyone loved the food and I have had more that one guest say it was the best wedding food that had ever eaten. My husband was in heaven with the prime rib. There was more than enough for everyone!
