Leading up to our session, Tara helped us choose locations around Pittsburgh that fit our vision and even gave us ideas/tips for outfits. This was our first time meeting Tara and she made us feel SO comfortable. We were thrilled with our pictures, turning out so natural and fun that I knew we made the right choice for our wedding day. Leading up to the wedding, Tara was very responsive, quickly responding to emails and setting up phone calls whenever I had questions. She helped us tweak the timeline as needed to fit our ideas. Tara was very professional both leading up to the wedding, on our wedding day, and after. She worked so well with other vendors to make our day run smoothly. Tara showed up exactly as scheduled, helped us make minimal changes to the timeline as the day progressed, and paid attention to shots that we pointed out were important to us. Tara (and her second shooter, Tyler) were the perfect combination of calm but efficient which is exactly what we needed. They fit in so well with our group which made for very natural photos that reflected our personalities! Tara knew it was important to us to get golden hour photos and found us at exactly the perfect time so we didn’t miss out on this opportunity. Even when time was getting tight, Tara made sure we fit in shots we wanted with our dog quickly! We got so many compliments from guests that Tara and Tyler were always ready to snap the perfect shots with so many dance floor candids to show - they never missed a thing! After the wedding, Tara got us sneak peeks quickly (which exceeded our expectations with so many photos) and our full gallery as promised, sending us updates along the way. We could not have been happier with the results! My husband and I, along with our family, would highly recommend Tara Bennett Photography. She was really responsive and open to any ideas we had for the day. Come the day of our Wedding, it was as if Tara was one of our good friends. wanted to get across in my wedding photos and she totally got what I was going for & delivered on it. She has an incredibly artistic eye and gives amazing direction. But the biggest reason you should hire Tara over anyone else with similar talents is the experience of working with her. Our event was somewhat on the untraditional & chaotic side (I planned our wedding in 3 months & I got lucky I was able to book Tara on short notice bc she had a cancellation), but she just worked so gracefully through the chaos and went with the flow. I am a huge pain in the ass when it comes to having photos taken of myself, but she never made me feel like one. I hired some very novice videographers for the event, and she worked so well with them and even gave them some valuable direction. I invited her to stay after the event and enjoy herself - she did, and my guests loved her! Tara is both an artist and a professional, and just an awesome person to have on your wedding team. If you're planning a Pittsburgh wedding, don't hesitate to hire her.
