I was most nervous to book a makeup artist for my wedding because I don't wear make up often, but Tara eased all of my nerves. When I met her for my trial, I told her I wanted a mi...
x of a natural and soft glam look, and I was pleased with how much she paid attention to detail. Every step of the way, she made sure to fix any part of the makeup that I did not like or was unsure of. At the end of my trial, I asked for an overall brighter look, and she took extra time out of her day to fix the makeup to my liking. She was so patient with my indecisiveness and just a kind person overall. My mom is a tough critique, but even she was in love with how all of our makeup looks turned out (mine, my mom, my mother in law, and my sister). Overall, Tara was super easy to communicate with, flexible, and made me feel like a beauitful bride on my wedding day. Highly recommend booking with Tara for your bridal makeup! She is so worth it!
Tara and her team were AMAZING!! I spent a lot of time researching soft glam makeup artists for my wedding, since I typically don't wear a lot of makeup and found Tara.
Tara was ex...
tremely accommodating from the beginning. She was flexible with adjusting my contract as more and more people opted into getting their makeup done. The day I was meant to come in to get my trial, I got pinkeye and she didn't make me feel bad for having to reschedule. When it came to my trial, Tara was super easy to talk to and made me feel at ease. She gave me exactly what I asked for in my trial.
Come wedding day, I realized I wanted to change a few things from the trial and Tara did an amazing job adjusting on the fly. All of my bridesmaid (and bridesman) were super happy with their makeup as well. Tara stayed on schedule and kept calm in the chaos of the getting ready suite. I could not recommend Tara enough for your wedding day. I loved my glam and it lasted all night long.

e lack of photos in this public review, but Tara’s work is truly incredible!
I had been a bridesmaid in many weddings before my own wedding day, so I had lots of prior experiences with being “dolled up” for a wedding party. This felt nothing like that - I didn’t feel layers of makeup caking my face. I have chronic acne - which of course was in full force on my wedding day from all the stress of wedding planning, but you couldn't see any of it by the time Tara finished! Instead, I looked like an elevated version of myself on my wedding day.
I had a large bridal party and Tara and her team (Amy & Allie - thank you so much!) did a fantastic job of making sure all of my bridesmaids and family who were getting makeup done felt comfortable and got the looks they wanted. Everyone looked truly stunning all day and the process for doing makeup for 11 people plus the bride felt like a breeze, even though I’m sure it took lots of careful coordination and planning on Tara’s part to make sure we all were ready on time, including touch ups.
Lastly but certainly not least. I slipped and fell a few months before the wedding and managed to give myself a concussion, which I was still recovering from on my wedding day. Despite this less-than-ideal situation, Tara helped me re-arrange the morning-of makeup schedule so I could include more rest breaks to save my energy for later. It all worked out and I was still able to dance the night away. Tara provided a great touch up kit (which I didn’t end up needing but which felt like a great security blanket to have just in case). And removal at the end of the day was easy too - she gave me just the right makeup remover I needed to make sure I could get my fake eyelashes off at the end of the night! I truly felt like a princess the whole day and Tara and her team were essential to helping make my wedding vision come true! Thanks so much Tara!

m the very beginning, she was professional, caring, and truly listened to what we wanted.
One thing that really stood out was her expertise with Asian features. She enhanced our natural beauty so flawlessly while still making us feel completely like ourselves. The makeup photographed beautifully, lasted all day and night, and looked stunning both in person and in pictures.
She made my mother feel so confident and beautiful, which meant so much to me on such a special day. Her attention to detail, talent, and warm personality made the entire experience stress-free. I’m so grateful she was part of our wedding day and would recommend her to anyone looking for a talented artist who truly understands how to bring your vision to life.

dibly professional, organized, and detail-oriented, which made the entire process feel less stressful. What stood out to me was how flexible and accommodating Tara was. She really took the time to listen to my preferences and made sure my vision came to life exactly how I imagined it... even though I changed my mind so many times! I never felt rushed or pressured and she continuously checked in to ensure I felt completely satisfied with the adjustments.
I highly recommend her to anyone - not just asian brides - for your next special event!

Tara is not only an incredible artist, but the kindest, most grounding presence to have with you on such an important day. She felt more like an old friend than a vendor. ith her calming, professional, and kind presence. She made me feel the most beautiful I’ve ever felt in my life, while still staying completely true to me.
I found Tara through Instagram while planning the wedding on a shorter timeline, and I got so lucky that she was still available. Her work immediately stood out to me — she’s a true master of soft glam! As an Asian bride, it can be challenging to find someone who really understands how to enhance your features without making you look too washed out or overdone. Tara just got it. She offered amazing advice, understood what I wanted even when I couldn’t fully articulate it, and made me feel like the best version of myself.
She also went above and beyond for my mom’s makeup and hair, taking such great care to make sure she also looked and felt beautiful. My makeup stayed flawless all day and night (even after hours of dancing!) and looked perfect in every photo.
On top of her incredible artistry, Tara was so accommodating and worked with me to create a custom quote that met all my needs perfectly. She’s talented, professional, and such a joy to work with. I’m beyond thankful I found her — and I couldn’t recommend her more highly!
Tara was the absolute best. When you hire Tara, you're getting an artist!! It's so hard to do makeup that looks natural but still elevated and lasts all night long. Tara NAILED it....
She'll bring out the most beautiful parts of your face. She also has a great, calm, positive, and warm energy, which is exactly what I wanted for my wedding day. She kept my family and friends on schedule and efficient but in a totally chill way. We loved every minute of it. I could not recommend her more strongly.
Tara is absolutely amazing! From our very first conversation, she truly listened to what I was looking for and made me feel effortlessly and naturally beautiful on my wedding day. ...
She has an incredible talent for highlighting what makes you unique, ensuring you feel not just beautiful, but also confident and heard.
Beyond her artistry, Tara brings such a warm, joyful energy to the getting-ready process. She made the morning feel fun and stress-free, filling the room with light and happiness. She also put together a fantastic and talented team that seamlessly accommodated my bridal party and family, all while being flexible and organized. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and I’m so grateful to have had her as part of my wedding day! If you’re looking for someone who will make you look and feel amazing, Tara is the one!
I had the absolute best experience with Tara as my wedding makeup and hair artist! It was especially important to me to find a makeup and hair artist with experience and expertise ...
working with Asian features, and Tara exceeded all my expectations.
From the very start, she was incredibly helpful and patient, even when I wasn’t entirely sure about the look I wanted. When I changed my mind halfway through the planning process, she remained consultative, flexible, and so supportive, which made me feel completely confident in her hands.
On the big day, Tara brought my vision to life flawlessly. She also managed hair and makeup for my bridesmaids by coordinating with her talented partners, making the entire process seamless and stress-free for me.
What truly stood out was how organized, friendly, and personable Tara was. By the end of the process, she felt more like a friend than just a vendor, turning what could have been a stressful experience into something effortless and enjoyable.
I can’t recommend Tara enough—she’s an absolute pro and such a joy to work with!

ara was such a smooth and enjoyable experience from start to finish. She was super responsive and transparent, making the whole process easy to navigate. I also loved how open she was to my input, especially during and after the trial. She took detailed notes and even brought them with her on the wedding day to make sure everything was just right. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

& makeup team. My bridal party was very ethnically diverse, so I knew I wanted a team that was versatile and experienced with different skin tones and complexions. When I had my initial call with Tara, I knew she was the one for me! She was very understanding and receptive to everything I had to say, and instantly made me feel comfortable. Tara was very communicative and prompt with responses throughout the booking process. When it came time for my bridal preview, I still didn't know exactly what look I wanted, and Tara was super helpful and patient, showing me different options without being pushy at all.
On my wedding day, we made a few last-minute tweaks to the look from my preview day, and I could not have been happier with the final result! Tara and her team were all so talented and a total joy to work with! My entire bridal party felt so happy with their looks; they could not stop taking selfies and thanking the hair and makeup team. Thanks to Tara, I truly felt like a princess on my wedding day but still ultimately felt like ME. Nothing was too over-the-top or out of my comfort zone. Tara really worked with me to figure out the perfect look! Thank you so much, Tara!!!

anized - she created a blank schedule for me to fill in the girls names which I found very helpful for the timeline. She is also very easy going and calming. I honestly felt so relaxed the morning of my wedding when I was sitting in her chair getting my makeup done.
I did a bridal preview 4 months before my wedding and I loved it. On the day of my wedding, I wanted to change a few things but didn’t know how to explain it and she still executed my look perfectly! It’s like she read my mind!
Everyone loved their makeup so much and we received so many compliments. My makeup stayed perfect all day and all night even after I cried like 5 times! It was bulletproof! I love the little touch up kit she provided for me as well - it was so cute and thoughtful! I truly felt so beautiful and happy. So glad I chose her to do my bridal makeup!! Tara and Victoria are so talented and skilled in their craft. I would definitely hire her again 💖

ilipina (like me!) and was located in the Westchester area (where my venue was!). From the start she was very professional yet friendly and I instantly clicked with her. I had my trial set up with her in April 2024 and wow she did such a phenomenal job and I loved her vibe! I was so eager for her to do my hair and make up again! Wedding day came and since her and her team were the first people we saw, she set the tone for the morning and of course the vibes were just what I wanted.. chill yet excited for the day to unfold. My family loved her and her team and their work. What was super super sweet was a little gift and card I received from her and her little make up kit for any touch ups needed (it was filled with everything I could ever need), but I didn’t even need to retouch at all throughout the night! My hair and make up lasted! And I loved my party pony. :) Thank you so much Tara and team for your services, you absolutely killed it. I hope to work with you some time again if I am ever back in NY for an event!

e making a last minute change up in my look for my wedding, she walked me through it and assured me the whole way!
As an East Asian bride, it was important to me to have someone who understands my face and skin tone - and Tara knew exactly what she was doing! She was a breeze to work with for myself and 3 other guests. The support team she brought was also wonderful and they were both such professionals. My makeup didn't budge all night and went to bed at 2am still looking pretty fresh without a single touch up all night. Would love to work with Tara again and would absolutely recommend her!

e friends! I did a soft glam look during my bridal trial which I loved but opted to do something more natural on my wedding day. I showed Tara inspirations on what I think would look best on me and guess what, SHE NAILED IT! Not only did she perfect the hair and makeup look, but NOTHING has smudged, transferred, or moved from morning to midnight. To this day, I am still shocked at how she managed to make my makeup stay on and look so fresh despite all of the crying and sweat throughout the day. Loretta was also part of her team which my bridesmaids adore! I can tell that Loretta took the time to make every one of my bridesmaids feel beautiful and confident. I highly recommend Tara Gervacio Beauty to anyone!
Tara was absolutely incredible. I have never felt more beautiful than I did on our wedding day. I also still felt and looked like myself, which was extremely important to me. Tara ...
was organized, so friendly, attentive, and just so skilled with both hair and makeup. We had up to 15 people getting hair and makeup done, and she and her team handled it all so well. She did all this while in a boot with a calf injury! She is beyond amazing!!

makeup I’ve ever worn- looked so elegant and my skin looked perfect and yet I didn’t even feel like I was wearing anything. She was so easy to work with- and felt like having a friend there on my wedding. She calmed me down when things were stressful in the morning (things that had nothing to do with makeup!) and I’d choose her again in a heartbeat. Thanks Tara ❤️

ts to celebrate my wedding. My mother and grandmother both looked beautiful and I felt like a natural but enhanced version of myself. My wedding was this July in NYC in 80+ degree heat and both my hair and makeup lasted through the whole day! Thank you so so much Tara!

what we agreed on during the trial and Tara was so sweet and patient with me trying to bring my wedding day vision alive! I went for a natural glam with some side swept Hollywood waves and she killed it. Not only that, but the night before at my rehearsal dinner I was bitten by a bug that swelled up my right eye a bit and she worked her flawless magic, you couldn't even tell it was there!
Throughout my time working with her, she was punctual and professional and detail oriented about every step of the process. Her talent and demeanor made me feel the most comfortable during this stressful process and allowed me to put my complete trust in her.
I cannot speak more highly about working with Tara Gervacio Beauty. Aside from just being an insanely talented hair and makeup artist, as a vendor, Tara was incredibly responsive, ...
collaborative, transparent and clear about the investment, and was also just an all around lovely person to be around.
She absolutely nailed my look at my wedding trial, and then when my wedding day came, the team that Tara brought (Amy and Kaylyn) were an absolute dream team to work with. They were all incredibly professional, showed up on-time, and brought amazing, positive, and calming vibes to the bridal suite. They were the exact kind of people you want around on the morning of your wedding. Best of all? My mom, my mother in law, and all of my bridesmaids absolutely LOVED their hair and makeup (which I find rare — usually at least one person walks away unsatisfied!).
If the vibe you’re looking for on your wedding day is soft natural glam, PLEASE book Tara Gervacio Beauty. You won't regret it! Truly it was one of the best decisions I made while planning my wedding.

idal instagram page is beautiful and I knew right away she’s my one! :)
Tara has all the characteristics of a great artist any bride would want for their most special day. I decided not to have a hair and makeup trial. But I kinda felt bad and anxious that Im not going to have the look that I would like for my wedding. Instead of telling me I should have one, she told me it was okay and that she can meet me on FaceTime first. That instantly made me feel better, knowing that she cared and I never felt any pressure from her on purchasing a trial service. So, we met on FaceTime couple months before the wedding. She’s very friendly, nice, and very approachable! She’s like a sister and a friend. She listened to every little thing I said, my concerns, my likes, dislikes etc. She answered all my questions. She made me very comfortable right away. She helped me a lot throughout the process of preparation, like choosing the right color of hair extensions, whats the right length, where to get them etc. (first time to use them)
She’s very good in communicating as well, whether I send her a text message or insta message, she responds quickly and answers all questions I have.
Wedding day: she arrived on time. She sticked with the timing plan and finished on time. She brought and used nice and fancy makeup brands. She listened to my mother in law and my mom’s request for their hair and makeup. They both looked amazing too. I also loved my dewy, simple makeup look! And my high ponytail look. I wanted something different and not too common bridal look and she made me feel really beautiful:) Tara was very professional and approachable. I highly recommend her! Couldn’t thank her enough for making me look and feel beautiful on my wedding day 🥰

best version of myself, and I couldn't be more grateful for her and how she made me feel on the best day of my life!
From the moment we met, she took the time to truly understand my vision and style, and then worked her magic to create a look that was even more breathtaking than I had imagined. She is a true artist and master of her craft as every brushstroke and every curl was executed flawlessly.
Tara also has the most wonderful personality and she always instantly put me at ease. Wedding days can be nerve-wracking, but her calming presence made the entire getting-ready process enjoyable and stress-free. She arrived on time, fully prepared, and managed to create stunning looks for not only me but also my bridal party within the given time frame.
When I saw the final result in the mirror, I was absolutely blown away. I felt like a true princess, and the confidence she instilled in me radiated throughout the entire day. Our wedding photos turned out absolutely stunning, thanks in large part to her incredible work. Tara stayed with me throughout the day to ensure my makeup and hairstyle remained flawless, she was so attentive and always by my side making sure I looked my best as I danced and celebrated without a worry in the world.
I truly can't recommend Tara enough, if you're looking for an artist who will make you feel like the most beautiful version of yourself on your wedding day, look no further! She is an absolute gem in the world of bridal beauty, and I'm beyond grateful to have had her be a part of my special day :)

ever getting her makeup and hair done and she looked gorgeous. We wanted a more natural glam look and Tara nailed it! The morning of the wedding was CHAOS. Thankfully, I knew exactly what to expect with hair and makeup. Tara is extremely organized and has a calming energy, which was extremely appreciated. Thank you for making me feel beautiful on my wedding day <3.
Tara and her team (Loretta and Barbara) really created the most relaxed, fun getting ready experience that set the tone for the rest of the day. She also gave me an amazing goodie ...
bag with a touchup kit and skincare which I used throughout the night.
When I first reached out to Tara, she was professional and SO prompt with responses. We did a trial session in which I got to know her better for the sweet and driven person that she is, and I felt more than comfortable working with her team to get ready with my bridal party, groom’s mother, and the groomsmens’ dates.
My bridal party consisted of family - who don’t typically wear makeup day to day and were a bit nervous about how it would turn out. However, Tara and her team did such an incredible job and made everyone look and feel amazing. Each of the girls getting ready with me absolutely loved their hair and makeup. Even though we started getting ready at 8:30 in the morning, they all commented on how their makeup and hairdos lasted until the festivities ended after midnight. Guests also complimented on the natural and refreshed beauty looks - and I truly felt the most beautiful and comfortable I ever have.
Please do not hesitate to work with Tara and her team!! She will really set the tone for the rest of your day and make you feel like your most beautiful self. Thank you so much Tara, Loretta, and Barbara!

ural glowy shimmer. Loved it, but wanted something more natural and me for my wedding day. So I did a second trial and she made me up so well, the nudes fit my complexion where I looked like me but superstar me. Now mind you I'm a mixed brown lady so my concern with picking my artist was, would they understand my tones and undertones. And the true artist she is she always got me perfectly. I was so in love with my wedding look I bought the products she used on me 🤣🤣

en I explained it to Tara, she just got it and it looked beautiful. The day of my wedding we decided to do last minute changes to my bun and she did such an amazing job. I slept in my hair and woke up the next morning with all bobby pins still in place. I think that speaks for itself. She also was the kindest sweetest person to work with. I felt like I was getting ready with all my girlfriends on the day of my wedding and Tara was one of them!

. She really took the time to ask important questions about what I wanted, she understood my vision, and executed it perfectly. She was also super responsive and helpful in the run up to the wedding in suggestions for product in general for day to day things (like what sunscreen should my husband wear on the day to prevent completely sunburned faces). I would wholeheartedly recommend Tara!

ed closely to my reservations and committed herself to helping me curate just the right bridal look--elevated, but still ME. She helped me sort through inspo pictures, advised on what would and wouldn't work for my face and coloring, spent extra time with me during the trial to make sure we learned everything we needed to learn from that practice round, and came back on the big day with an even more polished look which ended up being PERFECT. And, all while devoting so much attention to me, she and her team still made the rest of my wedding party feel seen, listened to, pampered, and beautiful by the time they stood up out of the chair. Not to mention that everyone's looks suited them perfectly and lasted all night. 10/10 is not enough!

eally worried about sweating off my face and hair. The suggestions and recommendations Tara made to my initial vision produced the EXACT result I was looking for and the look did not budge from the moment she finished to the moment I wiped it all off at the end of the night. All f the products she used were super high quality and made my skin feel great. Additionally, her team was FABULOUS! They did an AMAZING job on prepping the skin (it felt like a facial!) to the flawless hair and makeup on the bridal party. My best friend said she’s never felt more beautiful and she HATES makeup and getting dressed up, so I consider this the highest compliment. Not to mention Emma spoke Spanish and was able to communicate with my family - that was invaluable to my sanity! 🙃
Thank you Tara, Johnathan, and Emma for stellar work!

She’s so talented and gave me her expert recommendations when I was unsure of what I wanted. My hair & makeup lasted all day & night without any touch ups. All of my bridesmaids LOVED how they looked, as well as my mom & MIL. They all told me how they have never received so many compliments in their life! I HIGHLY recommend booking Tara and her team!!!! So very thankful for them!

rtist repeat them same look person to person whereas Taras glam is unique to each client. She asks questions based on your skin type, what kind of look your going for, how you normally wear your makeup to create such an amazing look to fit YOU. She really tailors her work to each person to perfection and that’s what’s true talent is in an artist.
Another important point to make is My makeup and hair lasted all night through sweat and dancing!
And lastly, I cannot stress this enough - it’s not just the artist’s work, it’s their vibe. On top of Tara being extremely talented she emits such a positive energy. She is kind and lighthearted and is CALMING! This is KEY to your wedding day when you have so many other stressors to navigate on your big day . I cannot recommend her work enough!
My everyday makeup look is minimal to none so glamming for my wedding day was exciting but I still wanted to feel natural. Tara works with you from start to finish. The consultatio...
n and trial experience put me at ease and she her style really highlights your natural features. Her experience in the industry really shows and her expertise in hair and makeup is apparent in her advice and guidance about what works/looks good. My skin looked dewy, even and smooth (I hate that caked on over contoured look!). My hair (I opted for a sleek updo) and makeup lasted all day including an after party jump in the pool!!! Tara is a true professional, calm and focused for that pre wedding chaos, and she really cares for her clients. I couldn’t recommend her more!
Tara was wonderful to work with! She's talented and professional. She did my hair and make-up for my wedding. She also did my sister's and mom's hair and makeup.

during COVID and did not have my original wedding dress so I borrowed my aunt's from the 1980s! I was so nervous that it didn't look good but Tara's hair and make-up magic pulled the whole look together. I could not have been happier!

ed the look I was going for, and my vision for the day. She even made some skincare recos that helped prep my dry winter skin for my August outdoor wedding.
I had Tara stay for a style change for my two ceremonies (the American and Korean). It’s worth mentioning that as an Asian bride, finding someone who could work with my features was extremely important to me. She also did makeup for my two bridesmaids (non-Asian) and they both said it was the best wedding makeup they’ve ever had, which lasted well into the late hours.
Not only is Tara super talented, but she’s really easy to talk to. She was the perfectly chill, and organized person that made my wedding prep experience so stress-free. She was such an integral part of making our wedding day (and photos!) perfect and I could not thank her enough.
Tara (and her associate Amy) did hair & makeup for myself and my bridesmaids. Tara is talented, professional, punctual and so easy to work with! I did a bridal trial and immediatel...
y knew I wanted to hire her. She does a wide range of make-up styles, from soft natural, romantic, classic, to full glam and editorial. She listens to your specific requests and also provides her professional input. I wanted a soft natural look and she nailed it. My bridesmaids also loved their hair & makeup. Tara worked with me to create the schedule, and we ran on time. She and her associate Amy traveled to my wedding venue (for an early start time!) and they arrived on time. Tara prepped my face and also gave me some makeup for touch ups. My hair and makeup lasted all day, even in 90 degree humid weather. She also maintained hygiene and safety measures during our COVID wedding. I highly recommend her for your special occasion!
