Cork Creative is just the tops. I could definitely tell they were passionate about what they do from the first email I got back from Caleb. Caleb and Tara are the kind of people you want to go on adventures with. I never got the chance to talk ...
to Tara, as all our interactions were online (my husband and I live in LA but our wedding was in KS), but Caleb was extremely responsive, flexible, and delightful to talk to. Unfortunately, they were unavailable the weekend of our wedding because they had already been booked for another one in Colorado - but we worked with Micah, who was also very talented and fun to work with. When we met via Skype the first time, we worked out all the details within the first 10 or 15 minutes and spent the rest of the time cracking jokes and talking about our lives. I feel like the purpose of that meeting wasn't just to discuss the contract/work, but to get a sense of who my husband and I are...what we love about each other and how Cork Creative was going to capture that.
The day of the wedding, Micah and his crew showed up on time and ready to go. We opted to add a same-day video to be shown at the end of our reception and I am so so glad we did. It was expensive, yes, but everyone at our wedding was blown away by the quality and continue to talk about it. It made me burst into tears of joy! Definitely one of the most memorable moments of an already very memorable day.
I can't comment on the other video (of ceremony/first dance/etc.) because we haven't received them quite yet. You can't rush these things, because it really is an art. But I will come back to update the review as soon as I get to see them. I can't wait! Caleb has become one of those "good people to know" guys who we keep up with on social media. Him and his wife Tara are always on the move, filming the most gorgeous weddings all around the world.
In essence, I strongly recommend Cork Creative! They are higher on the price range, but so worth every penny. These and the photos are what we have for the rest of our lives. Everything else (flowers, cake, etc.) is gone in a day. My advice is to prioritize when picking out vendors. What matters the most to you? If you said the video(s) or photographs, then this is the vendor for you!
