ooking through her previous work, she was the top of our list. Our first phone conversation made it very apparent that she knew exactly what she was doing and would help to capture our perfect day. She is so energetic, sweet and professional, I felt like I had known her for a lifetime. She helped create our timeline, took time to get to know us and listened to what was important to us. On the day of the wedding she had my husband laughing and smiling, I don’t think we have a single picture without him smiling (a rarity for him in pics). In fact, my entire bridal party was having such a great time with her and her team snapping pics and helping us move through the day. She stepped in as wedding coordinator when she needed to in order to keep things moving (we had a very large bridal party) and for that I am grateful. I have been obsessed with our pictures and didn’t even realize she was capturing some of our most intimate moments. I honestly don’t think we could have done this day without her, she was such a blessing and such an important part of our day!

She did an AMAZING job giving direction, and as someone who is a bit camera shy, you would never know by looking at the photos. I felt so comfortable and it was so fun! I cried when we received our sneak peaks... they were so beautiful and looked like something out of a magazine. We received out sneaks pretty quickly, and I am anxiously waiting the finals. Since she shoots in film, she is able to capture the most perfect, individual moments. This is a serious skill and I am so happy film was an option. Looking over the photos, I still can't believe that was my wedding, and that is me and my now husband in these photos. Further, Tara was also able to efficiently wrangle the troops (aka wandering/missing family members), which helped me remain calm. Tara even made suggestions for when we should have our makeup and hair ready. I had to make a couple last-minute vendor replacements and voiced my dismay to Tara, and she jumped to make credible recommendations. She cared about the entire wedding being beautiful, not just only making a profit on her end. Beyond anything, I appreciated her kindness and humor. Her sweet smile warms your heart and she makes you extremely comfortable for natural looking shots. I was equally impressed with her natural light (day) and artificial light (night) photography. She always got back to our questions quickly, she checked in on us, and her upbeat personality always made me so much more excited for our wedding! Nothing feeling right, prices to quality was no good, packages were​ lacking, no flexibility etc. Tara Leinen was recommended by a friend so I explored her and was immediately impressed by her creativity and quality of her photographs. She was willing to meet my husband and I in person and show us a book of her work, something she had created. I loved it, I saw firsthand she had a passion for her photography and in all of her clients. Super personable and open she answered all our questions and gave great details of all she had to offer. After the shoot, we jumped in our truck saying “Well that was fun!” The time between the wedding Tara was in direct contact sending us a list of who we wanted included in family photos which made things run even smoother the day of the wedding as she was getting to know my family, our wants and needs. Our wedding day had arrived and thanks to Tara she spent time with me over the phone and orchestrated a timeline from beginning to end! Because Tara is very organized and plan oriented by nature the outline gave me peace of mind. Tara arrived extra early for the big day, photographing me and all of my bridesmaids as her assistant photographed the groom and groomsman as we all got ready. She blended in well capturing real moments. Even more impressive she managed to hurdle up 5 wild girls for group photos. Tara suggested a Boudoir session as a surprise for my husband and I was all aboard. She was so delicate in her approach and provided beautiful photos my husband absolutely adores. The ceremony and reception were timeless. There was no way I could be in all places at once but Tara and her assistant moved with the crowd and captured details of moments I only got to see through her photos. She caught flashes with my husband on our wedding day we will hold dear to us forever. Our wedding photos came back so fast, we were so happy to relive the day again! We were blown away with how gorgeous our photos were, complete perfection! Flawless is what I couldn’t stop saying while looking through them all!
