Tara Lilly Design + Photography

I cannot even begin to say enough good things about Tara Lilly. She has taken business photos for me and took on shooting our wedding at the last minute after we needed to find a new photographer. She gave us great feedback about our wedding timeline to make sure we had allotted enough time for our first look and family photos before the wedding. I felt like she understood what was important to us in terms of pictures and the photos were got back were definitely a reflection of that. Our wedding photos were so beautiful! She captured all of the special moments of the day and we couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. On top of all of this, Tara is the sweetest person. She recently sent us a beautiful print of us with our dog on our wedding day after she found out that our dog passed away. It really meant a lot to us.

I looked EVERYWHERE for a photographer for my wedding in August. I must have emailed or called about 30 different photographers in the Roanoke area before I stumbled upon Tara's website. My husband is a good photographer, and he was very impressed with the pictures, so we set up a meeting with Tara. We immediately liked her. She is professional, calm, sweet, cute, and SO talented! She immediately puts you at ease and very carefully listens to everything you want and captures the exact pictures and angles that you ask for. She did both our engagement and wedding pictures, and her husband even tag-teamed with her during our wedding, so it was almost like having two photographers! All of the pictures were gorgeous. My guests and friends raved about how beautiful they were - she truly has a great eye for lighting and backgrounds. During the shoots, she is very easygoing and gives great direction to get the perfect picture. She is also very flexible and sweet. Her prices are very reasonable, and she sends the finished pictures in a beautifully packaged box, and the disks are inside custom-designed cases - PERFECT for forever keepsakes. She also does great write-ups of the shoots on her blog, and she is so personable. It was almost like getting to work with a dear friend. If you hire Tara, you will NOT be disappointed! Tara was not only sweet and thoughtful but she had an eye for pictures unlike I have see before. I knew when we first met, I wanted HER for my photographer. She was sweet and nice. But, she was also very talented, as evidenced by her work. I would recommend her to anyone who is getting married, needs family pictures, etc. Very professional and talented!
