friendly and helpful. When we met for the first time, it felt like I was hanging out with a friend. Lucky for me, this friend was an awesome photographer! I was initially drawn to Tara because she has shot so many photos at Desert Plantation (my wedding venue) that she is a pro. I hate taking photos so I didn’t want to waste any time on finding the right spot, lighting, etc. Because of her extensive experience, the photo-taking process was quick and easy. Best of all, the results were mesmerizing. She captured so many aspects in such a meaningful way. There were times when I was thinking, “uh, why are we doing this?’, but then you see the photo of you and your husband bathed in sunlight and draped with Spanish moss and a hint of lace and you GET IT! I guarantee that she would be great in any environment but she knows Desert Plantation like the back of her hand. Now that I recall, we did an evening engagement shoot at LSU, a first for Tara, but she still nailed it! Working with Tara is easy and fun. We bounced ideas off each other and came up with an itinerary as well as must-have shots. I was very confident that I would get the photos that I wanted so I had no worries on my wedding day and I was correct. My wedding day happened to be a rather warm and muggy day but that didn’t slow Tara down. She seemed to be everywhere and documenting everything. Last but not least, her work product is AMAZING. She is a professional and has a real gift. She can just “see it”. And when you get to see the final copy, you see it, too. My photos are magical. I get so many compliments in addition to the typical “beautiful bride”, I hear “Wow! Look at how cool the light looks in that photo”! I am so happy that I had the chance to meet Tara and that she became our wedding photographer.
