Tara Tomlinson Photography

r our first phone call she had several photo schedule options based on the timing of the sunset (never would’ve thought of this), and during both our engagement and wedding photos helped us find poses that felt natural rather than awkward or forced. She and her team also captured so many sweet candids of us, our family and friends which we LOVE. Having Tara thinking of all of these details allowed us to relax and genuinely enjoy the day, and looking back on the photos it totally shows! We would 100% pick Tara again, she helped make our day so special.

. My wedding was 12/4/2021; however, I did not receive my photos till April 8, 2022. Her contract said 6-8 weeks to receive photos. I had to initiate communication regarding status of photos. I was fine if they were taking longer than expected but I just wanted an update.

mera shy and have no idea what to do my body when posing. Tara has the perfect eye though! She gives great direction and knows exactly what looks good in a photo and what doesn't work. I literally do not have a single photo from her that I don't like. I tear up every time I look at them because it just reminds of such a perfect day and she captured it beautifully! I could not have asked for more in a photographer and highly, highly recommend! Thank you for everything Tara!

to work with and so much fun the day of the wedding which made it so much easier to be comfortable with so many cameras around. She was also very professional and great with communication prior to the wedding. She did a great job of picking beautiful backdrops and getting amazing photos during sunset! I would highly recommend Tara to anyone looking for an exceptional wedding photographer!

an inordinate amount of time looking for the right fit for our wedding photographer. I interviewed multiple people, and really didn't feel like I found the right person until I talked to Tara. My husband and I instantly connected with her, and I knew she would be the right fit. I really wanted a photographer who had a variety of styles, yet was classic and timeless. Her work speaks for itself, but I also wanted someone that we could click with and that would help us to feel comfortable taking pictures, and Tara did just that. Our engagement photos came back and were absolutely amazing (our friends and family are still talking about these photos) we even had one of them blown up and hung up at our wedding because it was so beautiful. Tara delivered exactly what we were looking for and then some. She arrived early the day of the wedding and was professional, articulate, kind, directive, and calming to be around. She sent us our "sneak peaks" 3 days after the wedding which is unbelievable. We never expected to get our photos back so soon, and they are absolutely beautiful. They made us both cry because they came out so perfect. Tara is wonderful, if you're looking for a photographer take my word for it. I spent hours searching for the perfect photographer, and Tara is it!

ng and extremely creative. I loved working with her and to mention you become best friends with her right away. Matthew and I could have not had more fun doing pictures with her. She wastes no time and has a vision immediately for what she wants. I was stressing out where exactly at my venue we were going to take pictures and within 2 seconds she led the way and had a vision in mind. Her charisma shines right through her work and you will not regret spending the money for pictures you can have for a lifetime. SO SO SO HAPPY with Tara and love her to pieces! If you don't choose her as your photographer you are seriously missing out on BEAUTIFUL work!

ed from our honeymoon (which was such a nice treat to come back to!).

e enjoyed shooting with her so much. She made us feel comfortable and "real" when we were together. Not only did wee feel comfortable with her, but the photographs are AMAZING!!! They came out so beautiful. The lighting, emotions, love captured was outstanding.

was extremely responsive (always a bonus when planning a wedding!). The day of she arrived on time, quickly captured all the shots we requested. She also had a great eye for finding unique backdrops that translated to film beautifully. She truly listened to what was important to us, but still provided her recommendations on how to make the photos the best they can be! During dancing, I barely even knew she and her assistant were there. I believe it's a rare combination to find a photographer that blends professionalism, and the level of skill that Tara poses. We were absolutely thrilled with the entire process! She and shared some of her favorite photos of our wedding with us even sooner than we had expected! I highly recommend you talk to Tara about capturing your special day!

vision and our look and just wanted to get to know us to really relate and capture our relationship and love for the big day. Our engagement pictures and wedding pictures are all beyond STUNNING and perfection, I didn’t know we could ever look that good haha! Also, after seeing just the preview of our wedding day photos, our newly engaged friends already booked her for their special day. Tara and her partner were relaxed and prepared amongst all the crazy wedding events the day of, so it helped me stay calm and just focus on the beauty of the whole day. I truly could not have asked for more beautiful pictures and experience with a photographer during our happiest, craziest and most exciting season!
