truly talented. Liz did the bride’s make up and was absolutely lovely to work with through the whole process, from the trial to the wedding. She is so kind , personable, insanely TALENTED, and attentive. I recommend booking early, because one of my bridesmaids put in an inquiry for her wedding next year and they are already booked!

13 ladies photo ready by 11am! Tara and Caitlin absolutely crushed the makeup game - our wedding took place on a solid 85 degree day and our makeup looked flawless all the way through the night. Nicole did an amazing job with everyone's hair and was even ahead of schedule! They were so fun and easy to work with. Tara was a huge help preparing for the big day, answering all of my questions, and making sure we created a realistic timeframe so that we'd never run late.

few years ago and I loved how my makeup felt very natural and balanced that day, so as soon as I got engaged I knew I had to have them on my own big day. They are an amazing group of talented women who are so great at putting everyone at ease during a crazy day. Everyone loved their looks and received compliments all night! Tara was extremely patient and responsive to my indecisiveness around how I wanted to wear my hair and what I wanted my makeup to look like. I never do my hair or wear makeup, so I was nervous that I wouldn’t look like myself on my wedding day, but it turned out perfect. I looked like a prettier version of me! Cannot recommend these gals enough, they literally made my 80 year old grandma look like a 40 year old. Truly amazing!

to all of the questions I had. We ended up having Danielle come to our hotel room the morning of our wedding and did hair for our whole wedding party. Not having to go to a salon the day of the wedding was very nice. Danielle was very good about making sure that we were all very happy with our hair, If we were even a little bit unsure she fixed it. we all absolutely loved our hair in the end that's all that really matters. I would definitely use them again in a heartbeat. And if I lived closer to the area I would definetly be a loyal customer to taras beauty studio in Rocky Hill Connecticut. It is so cute and adorable. in a state of panic because my original makeup artist was no longer available. First off Tara was so sweet and helpful in scheduling my trial with a short amount of time. She made it clear that her and Meg could handle hair and makeup for 4 girls in only a few hours. She was clear and concise, but I didn't feel like I was being rushed or treated differently for booking kind of last minute. I had my trial with Meg & Tara the night of my bachelorette party.Tara talked to me about different options for the looks I liked, and told me about the fake eyelashes she recommended. Meg came up with something to match my pintrest boards and even took my hair out of the wedding day up-do and re-curled it so that my fiancé wouldn't see it before the wedding. I had never gotten a fake tan before and asked Tara if she had any recommendations, when she said she did them there I scheduled one for a couple days later on the spot. Her application of the custom tan was so professional, it sounds silly but her ability to maintain the perfect amount of eye contact made it very comfortable, it didn't even feel like I was nearly naked, which I really appreciated since I had never had one before. The tan came out perfect. I looked natural, healthy, and not at all orange. Aside from being incredible at their jobs, Meg and Tara were super friendly and happy to listen to wedding drama related venting. It felt like I was catching up with old friends. The morning of the wedding Tara and Meg came to our hotel room and set up shop. From laughing with us, to singing songs with us, it was so natural. Tara did an incredible job with my mom and 2 bridesmaids' makeup. When she did my makeup with the eyelash extensions she recommended (DO THEM! I have naturally long ones but they looked even better!) I was completely blown away. I seriously felt like a princess. She did exactly what I wanted even though I didn't have any one picture or clear words to describe a look. Tara also brought extra lipstick and gloss so that I could purchase a new tube in the shade I was wearing to keep it looking fresh all night. The lips did need retouching (obviously there is no way around kissing, drinking and eating for 12+ hours) but everything else looked perfect even the next morning. Meg is like a hair ninja. She moves so quickly and diligently, which is extra impressive because my mom and I both have extremely thick long hair that usually takes forever to be styled. It's kind of hard to believe how quickly she is able to make everything look like it took hours. My half up-do had braiding and twisting and there was such an exquisite attention to detail. When my maid of honor decided last minute that she wanted curls in her short side-bangs after seeing everyone else's finished look, she jumped in and did them beautifully for a generous discount. I can honestly say that we made the perfect decision in going with Tara and Meg. I have had more people than I could have imagined, including people who weren't at the wedding tell me that I was radiating beauty. Somebody literally said I looked like Princess Jasmine-a Disney freaking Princess! They are both incredible and their work is absolutely flawless.
