Tasha Rae Photography

hooting which was so helpful as we were inexperienced with posing for professional photos. Tasha has the best personality and is able to take control amidst wedding day chaos and simultaneous opinions from family members. I gave her an overwhelming list of pictures to take on the wedding day and she handled it with ease and grace. I was able to ask her any wedding related question and she was always willing to give the most honest opinion which was so helpful when making decisions regarding planning. I feel so lucky that she was able to be a part of our wedding journey!

ng enough time or getting all of the shots I wanted. Tasha is very efficient and is sure to make your big day FABULOUS! I absolutely loved my bridals, engagements, and wedding photos.

e for detail and captures all the important intimate moments of the day. I couldn’t be happier with our wedding photos. Her work of art is something my husband and I will cherish for the rest of our lives!

elt like she was with us every step of the way. Tasha has a great attitude and made us so comfortable with everything! She had tons of pro tips along the planning process (she even suggested the venues that we ended up booking)! She kept us running on time throughout the day and made everything so enjoyable. Our photos are beautiful and the wedding album she made for us is just as exceptional. We can't thank her enough!

vibe of your wedding day. In long, let me just say, that I get very anxious about being photographed. I always am nervous that I won't look genuine and "too staged." Tasha erased any doubt I had starting with our engagement session. She made us feel so comfortable from the moment we met her. The photos were gorgeous and truly captured not only myself and my husband, but our family and friends who came to the wedding. She took photos of what we wanted, but also took photos of everything we didn't know we needed. She truly has documented this day in a creative and beautiful way I could never articulate. Six months later, I am still getting all of the compliments about how beautiful the photos are from total strangers. If you are wondering about whether to invest part of your wedding budget in Tasha, let me make this easy for you. Do it. You won't regret it. She will be my first call for any future photography needs going forward. She is 100 percent worth it (and, on a personal note, a stand up gal to get to know).

d and I, take before pictures, capture the ceremony, some pictures after and a 4 hour reception. I have so many memories from that day I get to keep forever thanks to her!

h creativity for framing/creating a photo and the skill to shoot it in any conditions. Honestly, hiring her was the best decision I made for my wedding (besides my husband, of course). She captured every moment beautifully, and made sure we would remember the night forever. She was fast, getting us out of the May heat as quickly as possible (a must for my husband). Her candids bring back every emotion, and her detail shots are unbeatable, letting us experience all of the things we were too excited to notice on our wedding day. She was professional and kept us updated until we received our pictures, even sending us sneak peeks along the way. BUT having Tasha as a photographer is really so much more. She was there for every pre-wedding question, gave me tons of advice, kept us on track the day-of, and more than that, she has become a wonderful friend! If you are lucky enough that she is available for your wedding date, don’t hesitate! She is the best there is.

, and finally the wedding day, she made us feel comfortable and heard. The bridals were stunningly beautiful. Letting her select the shoot location turned out to be the perfect idea as she selected just the right spot to highlight the details of the dress. The day of the wedding, she got all the shots we asked for while not interfering with the celebration. I cannot wait to get all of the photos from her, and will be looking to her in the future to help with other photography needs!

topped commenting on how easy and effortless it was to take pictures with Tasha. She made sure that ALL of my questions were answered, that I got pictures of everything I wanted, and she catered to whatever I asked. She made my wedding day smooth and stress free. Tasha is very down to earth, welcoming, and handles everything you will ever need. Our wedding pictures are everything we could have dreamed of and more. You will not be disappointed if you book Tasha!

new exactly what we wanted. Our pictures turned out amazing. Book her now!!

Let me start with the very first email I received from Tasha after inquiring about her photography on her website. She not only responded almost immediately, but she sent the most thoughtful and detailed email. Before I even read a word, I knew she was unlike other run of the mill photographers. She took the time to introduce herself and explained why she loved photographing weddings. She made me feel like my wedding was important to her before we had ever even exchanged real words. She made it clear that she wanted to get to know me and my husband (then fiance) and the details of our wedding before we had even decided to work with her. Y’all, she is THAT amazing. After a few emails back and forth, we set up a phone call, and Tasha was just as warm and wonderful. She understood that my wedding was the most important day of my life, and she explained the ins and outs of how things would work. She gave advice on things I had no clue about and was so patient about it. She was not at all pushy about booking and was just so incredibly kind. When we got off the phone, I remember explaining to my husband about how genuinely relieved I was to have found our wedding photographer. I felt like I had known her for years. I knew we would be in the right hands with Tasha! She even includes an engagement or bridal session in her fee, and we opted for the engagement session. For our engagement photos, Tasha was just as I had expected. Neither my husband or I had ever had our pictures professionally photographed before, so we had no clue what we were doing. Tasha was so patient with us, and she guided us on how to look natural for the camera. She got the perfect amount of candid and still shots, all while ensuring we never felt stiff or posed. We got our pictures back so quickly, and they were the stunning, timeless quality I had always dreamed of sharing with our friends and family. Each picture was absolutely beautiful, and we knew we would cherish them forever. I knew I had booked the BEST photographer, and I knew that my approaching wedding day was in the best hands. We got married in December 2019, and the whole day was a dream. Tasha was one of the reasons that I was truly able to relax and enjoy my entire wedding day! She and her assistant were so professional, and they delivered the same world class experience we had during our engagement session. They were so patient with my wedding party, and they ensured we had fun, too! I completely trusted she would capture every beautiful little detail, and our photos are living proof of that. She allowed my husband and I to have our moments together, and I never felt like we were being photographed or posing for the camera. She made everyone feel comfortable, and people are STILL raving about how truly great she was! Y’all, THAT is how you know you booked the right person. Our wedding photos were delivered in just a few short weeks, and they were as timeless and classy as I had imagined. You can actually feel the love through the pictures! I look back on these photos and not only remember how wonderful my wedding day was, but also how wonderful it was working with Tasha. Hands down, it was the best possible decision we made for our wedding. If you’re looking a photographer that is fun, trustworthy, and knows the importance of your wedding, hire Tasha. She is absolutely incredible, and you’ll have timeless photos forever to remind you of it. Thanks again, Tasha!

their work, while still being professional, and not another studio that churns out many weddings. Once I chatted with Tasha, I could tell her warm and fun personality even though we didn’t meet until my bridal session! And I knew I could trust her work would be beautiful when I loved every photo in her portfolio! I am a particularly detailed person, and Tasha helped immensely and responded to my every question. I also appreciated that she limits her wedding bookings and that just made everything feel more personable. She was so easy to talk to and felt more like another BFF! Her experience came in handy when I was planning out the nitty-gritty details which I felt the most lost! Tasha especially kept me calm when I was constantly checking the weather. Even though the weather ended up working out for me, I could tell she knew how to handle any situation that was going to arise. Her and Jacob shot our wedding day - and they just a joy to be around and made the day so fun! They were able to capture every important moment, and also the special little details of our day that we maybe didn’t see or notice on the day of. Thanks for making our day go so smoothly and capturing all the memories we will cherish forever!

choose my wedding photographer, I knew I had to find the most perfect person possible for the job...and I most certainly did when I booked with Tasha Rae Photography. Tasha brings a level of professionalism and experience to a bride's wedding day that will allow you to breathe a sigh of relief as you realize you have one less thing to worry about. When I received my wedding photos I was speechless and moved to tears. Every moment, every smile, tear and silly moment was captured beautifully. Not a moment was missed and I couldn't possibly ask for more. To me, these photos are priceless. I can't thank you enough Tasha! ♥️

n our special day and relive it over again. Thanks Tasha!

mental moments in ways we never imagined. Honestly, there were times we felt very awkward in front of the camera and she turned those awkward moments into treasures. Working with her was a pleasure. She’s creative, directional, and fun. It’s been over a year since we have been married and to this day we cherish the memories she captured for us. So thankful she was our photographer.

of the wedding day and has amazing vision and talent! She was always there from the beginning to answer any questions or concerns I had. I cannot recommend her enough!!! :)

idn’t get to meet her until our wedding day, because we live in Nashville but that didn’t matter. She was easy to communicate with and made the process super easy. On our wedding day she made everything feel so natural and fun! Tasha created the most beautiful photos of our wedding day, and I couldn’t be more thankful for her and her husband, for capturing memories that we will cherish forever. Thank you so much Tasha! :)

ot, and Tasha was very accommodating with picking an engagement photo date that could work for me! I bounced a lot of ideas off her and she was so helpful with giving me opinions and direction. We ended up shooting our engagement photos outside in Louisiana summer heat (I know!), and Tasha was such a champ with making my Fiancé and I comfortable the whole time. Our engagement photos turned out wonderful and (and sweat free), and we love them so much! For the wedding day - Tasha and her husband arrived promptly and got to work shooting the ‘getting ready photos’ of the girls and guys. I love Tasha's eye for small wedding details (rings, invitations, bouquets, sentimental items, etc.), and I am so happy she was able to capture so many for me! As you can never predict with weddings, we ended up having to change our Ceremony space from the Tree of Life (natural lighting/outside) to our Reception venue (darker/inside), due to Thunderstorms. We still planned on taking our first look and bridal party photos outside, even if it was lightly raining. However, the transportation to grab the Bride and bridesmaids ran an hour behind, so we had to cut our picture taking time very short. This is where I am SO THANKFUL for Tasha and her husband! Not only did Tasha instantly call my coordinator to let her know the transportation was running behind, but once we arrived at Audubon to take photos, her and Jacob were able to give us quick direction, and get some AMAZING outside photos of my husband and I + our bridal party. I was originally really bummed that we were not able to take as many photos outside (my dream), due to the delay in transportation, but after seeing what Tasha was able to capture, I was so relieved and happy that I cried when I saw the photos. My husband and I LOVE how our photos came out, and we are still getting compliments from our friends and family on how beautiful they are, which makes me so happy to hear! I am very grateful to Tasha for taking this scattered Bride and making me feel at ease during our engagement photos and throughout the day of my wedding. In short - Tasha is your girl, HIRE HER! She is so sweet, straight forward when you need it, an amazing natural lighting shooter, super-efficient, has the best hair colors that I am envious of, and I am sad my wedding is over because I won't be able to be in contact as much! Without a doubt, one of the best vendors I worked with during my wedding process. <3

of St. Amant, LA, she was able to capture happinesses, seriousness, and FUN in the most tasteful way. Her professionalism is trusting and comforting throughout the whole journey. She truly went above and beyond to make sure our day was captured exquisitely . There simply aren’t enough words to describe the perfection of Tasha and her beautiful talents! I would recommend her to A N Y O N E!

e while she’s shooting. It’s easy to feel cheesy while posing for pictures but I can assure you she makes it so much less awkward. When you feel comfortable it truly shows in you pictures. Shes very professional and a great resource for picking venues for pictures. Total worth the investment.

al we’re, and still are, a DREAM! I had no clue where to go and what to do and as soon as I asked for her help, SHE WAS RIGHT THERE! She gave me options and opinions and helped me every step of the way! Our wedding was a dream and Tasha was there for it all! She never took away from our day but made sure she got exactly what we asked for! She is wonderful, kind, and super professional!! I would give her 100 stars if I could!!!

tant Lainey was also the sweetest! She helped make sure my dress and veil looked perfect in every photo and was so professional! They both helped make my wedding day a little less stressful :) I couldn't recommend her and her team more! I also loved that she shot a few photos in film. Not many photographers shoot in film anymore, but Tasha did and they were stunning!! You can't go wrong with Tasha as your photographer

ot only took great candid shots, but took some really cool pictures of details (close ups of my accessories, decorations, etc). Absolutely loved the way our pictures came out! She truly did capture our wedding day perfectly!

, my now husband, and our vision for both our engagement session and our wedding day! She is helpful and understanding and made the day-of as easy as possible! As far as the pictures, they speak for themselves- beautiful and diverse photos with a light and airy feel. She captured all the feels! Thank you, Tasha!

not have imagined a better outcome for my engagement and wedding pictures, they are gorgeous. Seriously the best experience working with Tasha. Highly, highly recommended!

e and our pictures are absolutely beautiful. Thank you for everything, Tasha!

e entire process and our special day! I actually found Tasha via The Knot and fell in love with the special look and feel of her photos. She was super responsive and helpful from the very beginning, offering suggestions for other vendors, detailed pricing and information, and had no problem answering my many questions. Photography was one of my main priorities because we knew we weren't going to use a videographer and we were blown away by both the quality and quantity of the photos we received. She and her husband Jacob felt more like friends. on our wedding day and it was so much fun to be around them! Tasha even went above and beyond to quickly send a sneak peak a few days after our wedding, and then quickly edited family photos so they could be used for Christmas cards! We loved working with Tasha and you will too!

od things about her and her work she’s very sweet I have a hard time being around people without feeling very shy and awkward and normally I hate pictures of myself but Tasha did such a good job at making me feel comfortable and I love my wedding pictures so so much.

hung up we knew Tasha was the photographer for us! We are not from New Orleans so it was a big leap to make a decision for something so important not having met Tasha face-to-face yet. We first met Tasha in person a few months later and she was so sweet and down to earth. She gave us a lot of great advice for our wedding planning process and what to expect the day of. Fast forward to the wedding day, she was on time and ready to go for the long day ahead. She captured my bridesmaids and I getting ready, details photos, first look, bridal party, families, the ceremony, reception & second line. The day after our wedding Tasha sent me a black and white picture of my husband and I kissing during our second line with the confetti in the air and I literally burst into tears because everything went so smoothly/perfect and I was just so appreciated of Tasha and her work. I've gotten to see a "sneak peak" of some of the photos and they look amazing! I can't wait to get the rest! Don't look any further, Tasha is your girl!

liked her. High recommend!!!

SHA RAE PHOTOGRAPHY is the best choice for you. I thank God every night that I found Tasha on The Knot. Her ability to captures every special moment is unbelievable. of my top priorities for the wedding and I'm far more than 100% happy. Tasha and her team were easy to work with - always very professional but also very fun. Additionally, I wasn't sure I wanted to do an engagement picture session, but I'm so glad I did. It was great to get comfortable in front of the camera and for us and Tasha to get to know one another. Added bonus - all the other vendors Tasha recommended were also stellar.

oes she have a great eye for the shots , she has the sweetest personality that you just feel so comfortable around. I feel like I can relive the day looking through the pictures!

ood sense of humor) which made our Engagement shoot and Wedding Day pictures go smoothly. Most importantly (and why we chose her in the first place), her photography skills are incredible, and the pictures she takes are fantastic. We loved her creativity in taking the best shots of us, our family, and friends, as well as the beautiful scenery that set the stage for the day. She was able to capture perfectly all the best moments of our wedding day and couldn't have been happier with all the wonderful pictures of the best day of our life. We would highly recommend her for your Wedding/Engagement pictures!

ot only can you see it in her photos, but you feel it when she’s around you. She’ll calm your mind, fix your fly aways, and not skip a beat or a ring bearer’s dance move. I’m amazed at the photos she captured and forever grateful for her time and art! I would recommend her a million times over. and over. We loved working with her!

y ideas I had. The day of the wedding her and her husband (her assistant) went above and beyond the call of photographer duty. She even played wedding planner at some points of the night! My wedding was on a Sunday and I received my pictures the next Tuesday. Her turnaround was so fast but she didn't skimp on quality. She paid attention to every little detail. I have gotten more compliments on my photos than any other part of my wedding. She was by far the best money I spent! If I had the chance to do it all over again I would pick Tasha Rae Photography!!!
