il I met with Taste of Amore. The food is delicious and tastes home cooked, the presentation is spot on, they are professional and friendly and genuinely amazing people. The least stressful part of my wedding was the food because I knew after meeting then I could trust them 100%.

at sometimes communication was a little slow, but I 100% know how small of an operation they were. If I didn't get a response from an email, I gave them a call and they always answered. They worked well with my venue, the spread looked great (and better yet tasted great!) and the small cake I asked for was perfect! Thanks so much!

She even took a photo of a wedding cake design and created an adorable cake for the reception. Their buffet setup at the reception was very attractive and the food was excellent! They cleaned up afterwards and even boxed up leftovers and left them in the refrigerator for us. This company is professional and friendly to work with. We highly recommend!

is was for my wedding, so I felt I should. I hired this caterer for my wedding and I will rave about the food. It was phenomenal and everyone thought so too. Macaroni Bar & Egg Rolls were a hit for sure! (Except, I wanted Chicken Egg Rolls & I am pretty sure they were pork- So that was frustrating) The investment was extremely reasonable. But I do have some complaints. The communication was a little on the rough side. Which I found strange considering many reviews said the opposite. Emails took a little too long to get a response from- sometimes I would have to send 2 in order to get a response. I didn’t do a tasting because I was planning from out of state & I felt like that affected the level of service I received. I wanted cupcakes in lieu of a cake & was under the impression they would be made by the caterer, but they were not, they were ordered & picked up from a large chain of a business & I thought the quality was sub-par. I would have ordered the cupcakes from a local business had I known they would not be hand made by my caterer. As were the rolls, they were not made by this caterer they were ordered from the same large chain. My guest count was around 60-66 people, and it was spot on in fact I ended up having right at 60 instead of my quote of 66 & I was told that the plates & utensils (because that price was not included in my total quote, which was totally fine) would be around a certain price and then on the day of, the price turned out to be double, which was frustrating & I had also asked for a final price to be emailed to me & I never got that email. I would have provided them myself if I had known they would be double the price I was originally told because I could’ve found them & brought them myself, just like I did with lots of things for my wedding in order to stay within our budget. Overall this caterer brings quality food (minus desserts/rolls), but communication was very lacking and I felt like I was begging them to serve me when they should’ve been excited I hired them and working to serve me. I was very disappointed and almost deceived to find out that the Cupcakes & Rolls were from somewhere else. I just felt that other people planning their own weddings would appreciate knowing these things & perhaps this caterer will make more of an effort for their next customer.

ith Taste of Amore, we were pleased. Their packages are very competitive with pricing and a steal for the amount of food you are getting. They were easy to work with throughout and always flexible to any request or change. They folded my linen napkins and coordinated my dinnerware as a complienmtary service! Loretta, Matt and Sarah were professional and gracious to my guests. Our food was presented beautifully, hot and fresh! Portion sizes were very generous so that my guests could chose to have both meats instead of just one! Many of my guests went back for more! They also provided my cake and cupcakes. I showed them a picture I had found on Pinterest and they were able to replicate with ease! My guests are still talking about the cookie bar I had- especially the peanut butter cookies! I would not hesitate to use Taste of Amore for any of my future catering needs!

taste terrible?Not at my shower! Thanks to Amore, we had fresh, hot, and beautiful food throughout the day. They really worked to customize the menu to my desires (including some specific dietary needs of the guests) and were very communicative throughout the entire process. Also, Loretta and Sara were so gracious and genuine to all my guests. I would book them again in a heartbeat! I highly recommend that you do the same.

than happy to make anything I wanted! We had a loaded appetizer table, so many dishes on our buffet, a baked potato bar, drink table and the cupcake tower. I chose this caterer because they were such a great price but I really lucked out because this were some seriously quality food. My guests were going back for thirds!

hey made us a mini cake that sealed the deal (both beautiful and so amazing). We had so many compliments on the fried chicken, the Mac and Cheese bar and the potato salad. The green salad was beautiful and fresh and the dressings were to die for. And the cake...the cake. I got so many compliments, it was so beautiful, and it was better than any bakery we tasted and exactly what I wanted (I can also tell you I didn't even plan to have a cake at all until I saw and tasted this cake). Thank you thank you for making our wedding day even more perfect!

in our budget was also very important. From the very beginning, Loretta, Matt and Sara were super professional, flexible and easy to work with. We live in Columbia, MO and they were always available via email or phone with any questions we had and willing to meet whenever we happened to be in Kansas City. Taste of Amore can provide plastic tableware as well as bartenders for an exceptionally reasonable price. We used both of these additional services at our wedding reception and were very pleased. Most importantly the food they prepare is excellent. Our guests were very impressed and pleased with the quality and amount of food provided and people are still asking us who catered! We chose two different meat entrees and guests do not have to select an option, instead there is enough prepared for guests to have a little of both if they want. Taste of Amore is the perfect choice for economical and quality catering. You won't be disappointed!

dget-friendly, prices and the service they provide is incredible. Matt and Sara made everything so stress free for us! They were always willing to meet up to answer our questions and were very patient with us. They even picked up all plasticware we needed for the reception, coordinated our linen rental, and folded nearly 200 cloth napkins for us! We used them for appetizers, dinner, and cupcakes. The presentation was incredible. The guests raved about the food (especially the bacon wrapped shrimp and the red velvet cupcakes!). Overall, we were very impressed with the service provided by Taste of Amore and would highly recommend them as a caterer!

e party we had in mind, so that we could have appetizers and drinks available during the transition between the ceremony and dinner (I was of course very busy being photographed but it looked like a lively little party from what I saw!) and a number of my friends and relatives told me during the course of the evening how much they loved the meal. The build your own mac&cheese and potato bars got a lot of praise and our meat dishes came out delicious. They were also able to provide bartending service at a competitive rate and picked up dinner ware for us too. All in all, great service and value, they took really good care of us at the reception and I'd definitely recommend them to family and friends in the future.
