In the beginning Rueben and Tiawanna were great, very professional, and the food tasting was amazing. 1 month prior to my wedding I started to realize this vendor was going to be an issue. During my taste testing I requested gold flatware and clear chargers he told me that would be no problem. 1 month prior to my wedding he told me he couldn’t get either. I had to scramble around to get what I wanted last minute because the place settings they had was absolutely terrible. Fast forward to the wedding. Appetizers were great dinner was horrible cornbread was hard, Asparagus was over cooked, fish was undercooked, chicken had a weird mushy texture. He didn’t have enough servers my coordinator had to serve plates and my bartenders helped him serve his drinks, they also did not provide water and tea which was in my contract. Very dissatisfied and disappointed. 10/10 would not recommend.

Chef Rueben and his staff are top notch. Communication with his assistant Tiawana was easy, timely and courteous by email, texting and phone calls. It was always a pleasure to speak with her. Taste of Heaven Catering always asked me what we wanted to make our special day perfect. And on the day of, 12/11/2021, it was! My brother was pleasantly surprised and pleased. The macaroni and cheese was a hit! All the food was very well seasoned.

I highly recommend this place. Leading up to my wedding, the sales manager Tiawana was so personable and helpful and seemed genuinely excited to be helping me - every time we spoke, she would ask how planning was going and if I was getting excited for the big day. The whole staff made very clear they were honored to have been chosen to help with our day. The chef made special accommodations for my mother who has Celiac - for no extra cost - they prepared her a special meal, packaged it separately and with clear care. They were on time and totally professional when they arrived to set up our buffet -- they just slipped in the background and set everything up beautifully and swiftly -- we barely knew they were there! Which we appreciated because we were in the middle of wedding festivities! They came back and cleaned, again quickly and swiftly. The food was AWESOME. Everyone at my wedding complimented it and we all fought over who got to keep the leftovers ha! A wonderful and professional company that CLEARLY values costumer service, good food, and making sure wedding days are special.

Taste of Heaven was awesome! The food was delicious and flavorful, and they were glad to accommodate the roughly 10 people in our wedding reception that requested vegan/gluten free/special dietary restrictions in their meals. Additionally, the chef was very friendly, and the fact that Taste of Heaven was able to supply the place settings, flatware and drinkware, and a bartender, were a tremendous added bonus to make our day easier. We were thrilled with the service, and the price was extremely fair. We highly recommend them!

Taste of Heaven was an actual dream to work with on behalf of two of my clients in the Charlotte area! I decided to work with them for these back-to-back events given the level of professionalism I experienced with them after our first interaction. Tiawana was so responsive and happy to answer any and all questions that I or my clients had. Chef Reuben and his onsite team were happy to accommodate anything that we needed. Outside of the outstanding customer service, the food itself was DELICIOUS. We were able to customize the menu offerings for each event to the tastes of each client without any issue and the suggestions the TOHC team had were perfect to complement the desires of each of my clients. We were able to work with the TOHC team to work within each event budget and didn't go a dime over. Whenever my clients bring me to the Charlotte area and have catering needs, Taste of Heaven Cafe will be my first call!

Everything was AMAZING from the service to the food. My guest are still talking about the food. They provided top notch service and also made sure the guest were full. My husband loved the salmon so much he wants to set up a date night at their location. Thank you for making our special day great.
