I booked Tasting Taps for my wedding and did not regret it! Janel was wonderful to work with! She helped me with recommendations and staying within my budget. The pricing was very reasonable too. Everything was gorgeous from the tap truck to the drinks and decor! We also hired a bartender and server from Tasting Taps. They were both very helpful and provided amazing service! I would highly recommend!!

Janel and her team were amazing from start to finish! We used her bartender services along with the tap truck and servers/bussers for our tables. She went the extra mile—decorating the tap truck to match our theme and coordinating all the liquor for us - taking a huge weight off our shoulders. Everything felt so special and personalized. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how adorable the tap truck was and how delicious the signature drinks turned out! They even handed champagne glasses to our guests as they walked into the reception which was a special touch :) If I had to do the day over again, I would simply plan for one more bartender and one more server since our crowd ended up being heavier drinkers than expected. The team still handled everything seamlessly—Janel even had staff run out twice to grab more vodka because we were flying through it! One small suggestion might be muddling ahead of time for certain cocktails to help keep things moving, but truly, they carried the day with professionalism and warmth. Plus, throughout the whole year of planning, Janel was easily reachable. We appreciated her quick responses and solid communication including on the wedding day. From a young age, I have always enjoyed hosting and serving others. A large portion of my time has always been spent volunteering to prepare meals and drinks in bulk for my community and our gatherings. Aside from working in the medical field, I put my passion of serving and party planning into this business. Seeing the smiles and joy at weddings and other events is the most rewarding and fulfilling feeling. I made sure to invest in a business that allows me to make every single client’s event special and custom to them. From drink choice to decor, I always find a way to make it personal!

She helped bring our vision to life in every detail and went above and beyond in every way imaginable. Their bar truck had a minor hiccup the day of, but it was resolved quickly and professionally, without a hitch in the service. And what a service it was! Not only were our guests treated to fantastic drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), but every drink came with thoughtful, whimsical touches—tea and lemonade, glowing cubes, drinks with floating lightsabers, and lavender garnishes with delicate purple butterflies. Everything matched our whimsical, fantasy, sci-fi unicorn wedding theme perfectly. Janel also hand-crafted a stunning custom sign that tied into our décor flawlessly. Her attention to detail, creative flair, and genuine care for making our day magical made her so much more than a bartender—she was part of the heart of our celebration. If you’re looking for a bar experience that’s not only professional and fun, but also personalized, beautiful, and unforgettable, look no further. Tasting Taps was the perfect bar service for my wedding! I was a little unsure at first only because what I had seen was mostly with the trailer and I wanted just a standalone bar....

Janel was extremely communicative throughout the process and was very flexible to our needs. The value was incredible, and I don’t think we could have gotten a similar deal anywhere else! On the day of the event we heard nothing but great things about the bar. Everyone loved them and could tell that they were enjoying themselves just as much as our guests were. When the bar ran out of a bunch of stuff, Janel (who checked with me first) went out to meet her wholesale vendor to bring back more supplies to get us through the night. I was super thankful for this as I have been to weddings where the bar runs out and that’s that! I couldn’t be more thankful to them for the amazing service they provided and the great drinks they poured.

I knew right away that Janel and Tasting Taps was different...better...than the other vendors we were considering. Her approach to making our event special, unique and LOW STRESS ...

combined with her attention to detail and focus on the customer made her the perfect choice. We had a moment there when we were unsure if the wedding would take place as the grooms father passed away suddenly two weeks before the wedding and Janel's immediate response was nothing but concern for our family, support and prayers. She told us she would work with us no matter what we decided to do and never once mentioned the impact it might have on her and her business. Fortunately we did go forward with the wedding and her unique, customized set up and amazing bartending was LOVED by all - from photos of the couple on display to customized drinks and of course the fun drink camper that fit perfectly into our outdoor wedding. I would work with Janel again in a heart beat and HIGHLY recommend her for any event - she is a gem!
