Saying Yes to the dress is such a special moment and when I came across Tatyana's creations on Pinterest I knew instantly that my dress would be among her designs. When I visited her quaint and beautifully lit salon in Brooklyn I was immediately welcomed by Tatyana's genuine warmth and zest for creating the perfect bridal gown. After my first fitting I decided on the Marlene gown with the gorgeous lace trim that hangs off the shoulders. My husband and I would be getting married on the beach in his hometown of Havana, Cuba and I needed the perfect gown that exudes elegance but also had a flowy / ethereal quality. To say the gown was a dream was an understatement. Tatyana expertly fit me in the dress and made all the necessary alterations throughout my 3 or 4 visits. She took into account my needs and vision in regards to the dress ( for example she made the Lacey trim snap in the back so that my dress could turn into a strapless gown for the reception and allow for more effortless dancing.) Tatyana's attention to detail and her kindness quickly allowed us to become friends so much so that she even allowed me to use one of her colorful gowns (Penelope in orange) as my gala dress for the Ballet Hispanico Spring gala ( we bonded over the fact that I'm a professional dancer and that she was raised greatly appreciating dance and the arts). I genuinely enjoyed every visit and felt that Tatyana and Scarlet ( her amazing assistant) put in a thousand percent of themselves into their work in order to make a bride's dreams come true. I've never felt so beautiful as I did on my wedding day and what more can a girl ask for especially when your husband says you look stunning in that gown !!! I am absolutely in love with the custom lace Sansa dress she designed for me and received so many compliments!! She works for the most gorgeous, delicate materials (my dress was from lace made in Italy) and her designs truly stand out from the litany of cookie cutter dresses you see in most bridal magazines. She was a pleasure to work with and always accommodated my busy schedule for fittings, etc. I couldn’t have asked for a better dress or better designer! Highly recommend!!

Tatyana was such a pleasure to work with. It’s not very often you go into a bridal boutique and the actual dress designer is present for all of your fittings to customize the dress to fit you perfectly. Tatyana was so hands on. I found a dress that I loved and she encouraged me to have it customized further to accentuate my best features. She listened to what I wanted and made it happen. If you are looking for a dress that is elegant, vintage inspired and truly one of a kind, I would highly recommend Tatyana!

As a bride not living in the US (currently living in Africa at the time!) you can imagine the immense task Tatyana had to do my dress without one fitting or alteration! I simply emailed her my measurements and hoped it would arrive and fit like a glove, bearing in mind a friend was bringing the dress out only a couple months before the wedding. When I received the dress I was anxious to try it on and I couldn’t believe it fitted like a glove!! It was a bit long however that was easily fixed by bringing up the hem. Tatyana was great at updating me on my order and once it was shipped. I got married almost 4 years ago now and still to this day many girlfriends still comment on how unique and beautiful chic my dress was. I truly could not of imagined wearing anything but the beautiful Marlene dress 😍 thank you Tatyana your creations are simply beautiful.

Tatyana is nothing short of exceptional! From beginning to end she was patient, supportive and so warm and kind that you can't help but love her. Other salons I went to were overwhelming and stressful, but her studio is so bright and welcoming that it makes you feel right at home. To be able to work directly with a designer is such a VIP experience (you don't even have to worry about alterations!) and the way she cares about each gown and each bride really makes her spectacular. Her dresses are like clouds - so weightless and soft you feel like you're floating on air and never want to take them off. She has a great eye and attention to detail so the quality of her dresses really wow'd me. To this day I still get compliments on my dress even though my wedding was over a year ago. If you want a dress that will STUN and that is effortless to wear and a superstar designer to have your back all through the process then Tatyana's your girl!

I absolutely loved my tatyana merengue gown. From the moment I tried it on, I received tons of oohs and aahs from my girlfriends! Tatyana’s gowns are beautiful, thoughtful, and incredibly unique. Mine had lace that was both subtle and modern and the bodice had small pintucks all over it that made it stand out from many other dresses that share similar silhouettes. Not to mention, that of all the dresses I tried, this one was comfortable! It made dancing and wearing it all day and night a breeze. I contemplated sleeping in it! Thank you for my beautiful dress and helping me to feel my most gorgeous on such a special day!

I had my dress made by Tatyana and I can't even express how talented she is! The dress was absolutely perfect and I felt so beautiful the day of my wedding. Tatyana and I had may appointments together to go over details and measurements. When searching for the perfect dress, Tatyana was the only person that I didn't feel was pushy/salesy . In fact, she only cared if I was happy. She made sure before I left with the dress that I felt comfortable, that I knew how to bustle the dress, and directions on how to keep the dress perfect for the day of. Everyone at my wedding told me how much the loved my dress, how stunning it was. I was so sad to take the dress home because that meant I didn't get to see Tatyana anymore. She is an awesome person, who listens, gives her honest opinion, and I am so lucky to have had the experience with her and to have had my dream dress. I would recommend her over and over!

The second I saw the dress on Tatyana's instagram page I knew 100% that was the dress I wanted for my wedding day. I flew from FL to NY just to meet her and try on the dress- I had family try and talk me into finding something similar locally, but there's nothing else out there like her dresses. When I got to her beautiful studio she spent my whole appointment working one on one with me to make sure the dress I wanted was perfect for my body. She listened to my concerns, and made adjustments to the dress based off what would be best for my body type. When I went back for my fitting the dress was amazing and Tatyana was the ultimate hype girl and got me so excited for the wedding while we tried on all my accessories with the dress. It was more like doing a fitting with a close friend than someone you've met one time. My dress came in exactly when she said it would, and was so comfortable and easy to wear the day of the wedding. Any time someone sees photos from our wedding the first thing they comment on is how beautiful and unique my dress was. I had my dress made by Tatyana Menrenyuk for my wedding. Although the dress was beautiful Tatyana argued with me to do a train and created flaps on the side of the dress. Tatyana does not do bustles so she gave me a wrist strap which was a tiny cheap piece of elastic which only holds up one of the many flaps. The elastic broke quickly into the wedding and my friend had to tie my dress back with a hair tie. Everyone at the wedding had to witness me struggling to walk and worrying about the dress for the entire time. Also every time I bent or moved my nipples became exposed. During my father daughter dance I exposed my nipples to my entire family. I begged Tatyana to raise the dress. I spent hours talking to her about it. Since the fix was not easy and she would have had to re-cut the dress she argued that the dress looked better lower. I hope Tatyana becomes more practical with her wedding dresses. She has an artistic vision. She wants the dress to look great in a photo. She does not understand there is a lot more to a wedding then a beautiful photograph. There is a lot more happening at a wedding.

Tatyana is like your best girlfriend - she will give you her honest opinion and is supportive throughout the entire process. She also has such amazing talent and vision. Thank you for making the most beautiful dress ever and making me feel like I was floating on air. I couldn’t imagine having it any other way!!!

Tatyana is an incredible designer and person! She created my dream wedding dress! Her studio is beautiful and relaxed, and working with her was a wonderful experience start to finish.

Tatyana helped to created the most stunning wedding dress. It was exactly as I envisioned. With only 5 months to have a dress made the whole process went smoothly. She is a wonderful seamstress and has a great eye for design. Not to mention very personable. Her designs aren't the standard cookie cutter bridal silhouettes which is very refreshing.
