Taxi Driver

Taxi Driver was a FABULOUS band for our wedding! They played at my brother's wedding about a year before my own, and we knew we wanted to book them for our own reception. I lost count of the number of guests who raved about their performance! I didn't micromanage their music selections, and they are SO wonderful with selecting music that everyone knows/likes (which keeps the dance floor full). They are energetic, interactive, and very pleasant to work with! In particular, Michelle was fantastic throughout the entire planning process! I was very late to the game in planning anything music-related, and she was nothing but patient with me; she bent over backwards to make the process as low-stress as possible. I would highly recommend Taxi Driver for your wedding reception - they won't disappoint!

My husband and I booked Taxi Driver to play the reception of our wedding and there are not enough words in the English language to explain the overwhelming joy, fun, excitement, dancing, laughter, and memories made that are directly contributed to Taxi Driver and their incredible talent and amazing stage presence! They played songs that every single one of our guests – young and old – knew and wanted to dance along to! Their covers of so many songs such as Shout, Uptown Funk, You’re the One that I Want, Sweet Caroline, Wagon Wheel, and of course the best Journey songs, are simply in another league! There are too many great ones to list! We had so many compliments, and are still getting them weeks after the wedding, that guests had never seen a dance floor so packed full of people for the entire night! I had many guests ask me for their information that night so they could hire them for their own events; they are just that good! They were professional, fun, super kind and just incredible people and musicians and we highly recommend booking them to give your event an edge that people will talk about forever! We can’t thank Taxi Driver enough for the great celebration they brought to our wedding! We can’t wait to see them perform again soon!

I hired Taxi Driver for my Son's Wedding & they were Fantastic! The main concerns with hiring a band at a wedding: Are they going to be too loud? Taxi Driver has the Best Sound Around, its clear sound not muddled & loud like so many bands. Every instrument can be heard with the Beautiful Vocals coming through clearly, which makes for a pleasant listening experience. The overall sound is loud enough to feel the beat on the dancefloor while at the same time not to loud for those guests who wish to carry on a conversation & catch up with relatives & friends they haven't seen for some time. Is the band going to take the spotlight away from the happy couple? While some bands have a challenge realizing that they are performing at a wedding and not their usual club-type event (where the band is the focus), Taxi Driver makes the entire night about the wedding couple. They sprinkle the night with reminders about why everyone has gathered together, the celebration of the nuptials. I've watched & heard countless bands over the years & without a doubt, Taxi Driver, is consistently Great everytime I have heard them. They are professional, taking care of every detail ahead of time so there are no last minute unwanted surprises. I had many compliments about Taxi Driver throughout the night..."This band is GREAT!", many would say as they floated off to the dance floor. The participants that chose to stay seated also made the same comment, that the band was Great. My cousin's son, who lives out-of-state, even asked if he could get them for his wedding, which is the best endorsement anyone could ask for.

This band MADE my wedding a night no one will EVER forget! Not only did they play excellent music that any age group would enjoy, they also helped with wedding reception announcements. I have received so many compliments about the band's ability to keep the entire crowd engaged and truly entertained. At the end of the night they even got me (the bride) to get up on stage and play a tambourine on my hip to the beat of a song. I can honestly say that Taxi Driver is worth EVERY penny they charge for a show, because your guest's will leave tired...tired from dancing on the dance floor ALL night!! They even go to the extent of mingling in the crowd for those who aren't capable of leaving their seats, so no one misses out on the fun. I am so grateful to have had them be a part of my special day, because without them I can guarantee it would not have been so wonderful. I would recommend them to anyone! THANK YOU TAXI DRIVER!!
