About this vendor
Welcome to Taylor Jan Photography, a company based out of Saco, ME specializing in wedding photography. Thank you for checking out my photography page here on The Knot! I'm a photographer based in Maine, but I can cover destination weddings if you want me to! I grew up in Maine and absolutely love it; we're lucky to be here. Photographing weddings is my favorite thing in the entire world, and I'd be so honored to be a part of the most special day of your life.
I like to describe my style as creamy, natural, and slightly warm! Candid photos are my favorite, but of course, on your wedding day, you need those perfectly posed photos, too. I will do my best to make you feel comfortable, laugh and have a great time. Your wedding day should be all about you. I truly get just as invested in your wedding day as you do! I don't want to be just another vendor to you, just as you will not be just another wedding to me. I want to become friends and help you may need leading up to your wedding day! I expect to hear from you, whether it's asking about colors, sending me a photo of your dress, or giving you advice about timelines. I'm here to help make your vision come to life (and then capture it all!)
At Taylor Jan Photography, boudoirs, wedding portraits, day-after sessions, engagement shoots, and trash the dress can all be covered, as well as your cherished wedding day. Additional services, such as a second shooter, drone footage, printed proofs, and wedding albums, can be requested. I post on Instagram almost daily, so feel free to take a peek at all my latest work! I can't wait to chat and be there by your side on the best day of your life!

pher for our wedding, I spent time weeding through all of the options. Through Instagram, I found Taylor. Her photography, lighting, and ability to catch a different special moment for each couple on her page immediately pulled me in. Before meeting Taylor, I was worried I would hate every photo of me. We met up with Taylor and it was instantly effortless. My husband and I spent the hour laughing and being playful, all the while Taylor was behind the camera capturing our magic moments. It was easy because of Taylor. When we got back our photos I cried. I couldn't believe that not only did I LOVE them but I couldn't find one photo for me to pick apart the way I looked. Fast forward to our wedding day with Taylor and it was nothing short of amazing. Her compliments throughout the day and soft direction to catch the perfect moment made everything so easy. She even advocated for us to sneak away to get a background shot she knew I was interested in getting. Taylor is beyond professional, warm, and extremely talented. She has an eye for creative shots. If you are like me, and at all worried about having someone capture all the best parts of you even when you may not see them, Taylor is your girl!
