There are not enough words to express how thankful we are to have found Sydney! She was quick to respond, helpful throughout the entire process and so easygoing! She did both our engagement photos & wedding, and they were both stunning! She gave us natural prompts to achieve the look we were going for. Wedding day, she was calming, understanding and great with the chaos of family. She went the extra mile to make sure that we were both okay, calm and there if we needed anything. The sneak peak pictures are absolutely beautiful. She captured our day perfectly and exactly as we had envisioned. Her support and kindness made us feel so comfortable to be us and it shows throughout her work/pictures. HIGHLY recommend Sydney for all your photography needs!

I cannot recommend Sydney Taylor enough!! She was an incredible communicater throughout the whole process and made everything very low stress. My husband and I are not good with pictures or ideas for pictures and Sydney was so helpful at recommending poses and helping make the process fun for us with both engagement and wedding photos. Both sets up photos are exactly what we were looking for and we cannot wait to start printing some of our wedding pics. I look forward to possibly having her do pictures for us again at some point!

Hi! I'm Sydney, and I am Taylor Made Photo KC. Like, TMPKC is literally me. When you inquire with me, send me an email, DM me on socials, it's always me responding. I am here for you from inquiry to booking to engagement to wedding to whatever else you have planned for your life. I've been told time and time again to 'niche down' and pick a lane for my photography, but the truth is that if I get to know you as a newly engaged couple and then a newlywed couple, I'm going to want to be your photographer for life. My absolute favorite part of being a photographer is capturing you in every stage of your life. I get to know you, then you two. I get to celebrate your engagement and then your wedding. I get to see your family grow and then thrive. But for your wedding day, I am your photographer, bouncer/bodyguard, third wheel, cheerleader, and documentarian. And I'll be whatever else you need me to be. That teacher voice still comes in handy! (I was a teacher for 9 years before becoming a full-time photographer). In your TMPKC wedding gallery, you will see the important moments, the once-in-a-lifetime moments, the in-between emotional moments, the details, the photos you pinned on Pinterest, and the photos you didn't know you wanted and then you saw them and realized you NEEDED them. My goal is that when you look at your full gallery, you will see everything you wanted, everything you didn't know you wanted, and see every detail, every moment, every emotion. And for our relationship? I'll be what you need me to be. I can be the fly on the wall. I can be your hype woman. I can (and want to!) be your best friend. I can be the historian. I'm a people pleaser at heart, and I'll be who you need me to be while capturing the most incredible images from your day.

Knowing that wedding photos will be cherished forever and looked back on countless times through a couple's life is something I do not take lightly. I consider myself incredibly lucky to be able to spend such an important day with my couples and then deliver a beautiful gallery with images of all the big and little and perfect and imperfect moments for their wedding day. s wedding with a photographer who can capture all the great moments. She helped us determine timing of events for the day, what family groupings were needed, and kept us on time throughout the day. At our engagement photo shoot, she helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera (and helped with being uncomfortable with PDS) before our wedding arrived. Her personality is so calm and caring, and it just made us feel so comfortable which showed in the photos. We will definitely use her again to document the next chapters of our lives!

My wife and I aren't people who usually seek out attention for ourselves--we prefer to mingle in a group rather than be center stage--so I wasn't sure how being photographed would feel, but Sydney is very talented at making you feel comfortable and enjoy yourself during a shoot. Not only was she a hit with us, but she was also a hit with friends and family! Some of our guests even asked us afterward how long we had known our photographer, assuming that we were longtime friends. In terms of the actual photographs, Sydney gave us everything we wanted and then some. She has an eye for both arranging photos and for capturing candid moments as they came up. You'll love being able to go through the pictures Sydney gives you and see moments that you were too busy to catch on the day. She'll also make the moments you do remember sparkle. Her knack for classy black and white filters was especially nice. We loved having Sydney photograph our wedding and hope we can hire for other special occasions in the future. You can't go wrong working with her!

Even though she was 6 hours away, she agreed to be our photographer! She was so helpful throughout the wedding planning process and would bounce ideas back and forth with me. We even facetimed and talked about visions of the day from start to finish. Her timeline draft she provided me was the backbone of my wedding planning. Not only were her photos absolutely breathtaking, but I had a sneak peak within 24 hours and all 3000 photos within a week. She was very professional, kind, helpful, energetic, and so friendly. My wedding party raved about how fun and talented she is! My wedding photos were my number one priority when it came to vendors and I am so grateful we chose each other.
