Taylor is the most amazing person and wedding photographer ever!!! We feel so lucky to have been able to have Taylor and Tricia be a part of our big day!! Taylor also did our engagement photos! We were nervous about being in front of the camera and Taylor made is so easy and comfortable!! He helped guide us, made us laugh and we just had the best time ever at our engagement shoot! AND THE PHOTOS TURNED OUT AMAZING. After out engagement shoot went so well I knew that during our big day Taylor and Tricia would capture all the moments we needed and we wouldn't have to worry about anything in regards to our photos! Honestly he was the one vendor we had that I wasn't "worried" about before the wedding. At our wedding Taylor and Tricia did an AMAZING job!!!! Even our guests commented on how great they were! They got every single picture you could ever want and then more. We are soosososo beyond happy with our pictures. We are blessed to have had Taylor and Tricia at our wedding, hiring them was the best decision we made. If you are thinking about choosing Taylor as your wedding photographer, don’t think twice! This guy is the best!!! We can’t say enough good things. Not only is he incredibly talented, but he has the personality to match and had us all laughing and having so much fun the day of our wedding. I wish we lived closer and could be best friends. I’ve worked with photographers who give no direction, and with photographers who give too much direction and make me feel posed/uncomfortable, and I have to say Taylor is the PERFECT hybrid of the two, who will make you feel so comfortable/natural and can give just the right amount of direction when needed. He also captures the raw emotion and joy of a wedding day so perfectly. And have you seen his work?! It’s just stunning. Don’t look further - if Taylor is available on your wedding day do yourself a favor and book him. Other cool things to note: not only is he an amazing photographer, he also makes amazing reels for your to post right after your wedding! And even gave us a “sneak peak” of hundreds of edited photos less than ONE WEEK after our wedding. I don’t know what more you could ask for in a photographer.

Taylor is without a doubt the most incredible photographer of all time. We have no words to describe the gratitude we have for him and his wife Tricia. Your wedding day is so precious and intimate - it's important to be surrounded by people who make you feel comfortable and supported in that. Taylor provided us a huge sense of support, guidance, and leadership throughout the whole wedding day. He allowed us to be OURSELVES - the photos seemed effortless and fun. We loved sneaking away for sunset photos (just the two of us - HIGHLY recommend) The photo quality is out of this world. All of our family and friends were brought to tears by the photos. There are so many sweet moments captured that I missed - what a beautiful way to relive the best day of my life! Taylor sent us sneak peeks back almost instantly. We were shocked and so grateful. Far exceeded all expectations! We are continually amazed at the quality of his work. From the first time we met him for our engagement shoot, we felt comfortable; he's really easy going and LOVES what he does. Amazing eye for what works and captures the right moments with all the emotions of the day. He shoots outdoor events in a very tasteful way which gives a real sense of place, but without losing focus on the people in the photo. Now that we've received our edited photos back, it is clear that his passion shows through in the quality of his work.

I cannot stress this enough: YOU NEED TO HIRE TAYLOR! He is so incredibly talented and I honestly feel like it was our honor to be photographed by him. My husband and I traveled from the East Coast to the Bay Area for our 10th anniversary and were so fortunate that Taylor was available for a photoshoot with us. I thank my lucky stars since I now have the most STUNNING photos of us, he made us look amazing, they look like they belong in a magazine! Taylor is also so much FUN, we had such a great time getting to know him and he truly went ABOVE & BEYOND in every sense. He picked us up from our hotel, drove us to various locations, let us do numerous outfit changes, spent SO much time with us, despite a long drive home he did not rush us at all, and he delivered TONS of beautiful photos. You can tell he truly does this for the love of the art of photography and capturing the beauty of the couples' love of those who are lucky enough to work with him. My husband and I had such an incredible time with Taylor, being adventurous going to all the different spots to take photos, that getting the final photos was like recieving a special gift that arrived to remind us of the wonderful day and one that we will continue to enjoy for the rest of our lives. We feel incredibly fortunate to have had Taylor photograph our wedding. If the photos don't already speak for themselves, then I'm happy to elaborate on what an great guy Taylor is to work with. I've been in weddings where multiple 'getting ready' photos were staged or re-enacted, and where countless once-in-a-lifetime moments were not captured. Taylor, on the other hand, lets everything happen as it should, and works to capture it in the best way possible. When it came time to more formal photos, Taylor was really great at giving natural suggestions. None of our photos look staged or forced - they all look exactly how we remember that day!

We live in Idaho and got married out here as well. Taylor was awesome, hopped on a plane and came out here for 3 days, and delivered to us way more photos than we expected. Also with his guidance we were able to take some spectacular photos, and we couldn't be happier. Small price to pay for memories that will last the rest of your life. In my Opinion you should definitely hire this guy.

Taylor is fantastic. He has an incredible eye but also wonderful people skills making the bride and groom feel at ease. I had no idea how to "act" for an engagement photo shoot... he made it easy and look amazing. I highly recommend him.

Honestly I don't even know where to begin with this review. I could gush about Taylor all day long but I will start with the photos. They were absolutely stunning and so much more than I even expected. I literally could not be more happy. Not only were the colors perfect, lighting amazing, & focus superb but he really managed to capture us and our emotions as they really are. Sometimes you look at a professional photo and think, "It's beautiful but TOTALLY not us." But when I look at Taylor's photos of us I think, "It's beautiful and we are such perfect goofballs." He just really captured our love and personalities in the most perfect way. Aside from the amazing photos you'll receive, the other great thing about working with Taylor is working with Taylor. He is so down to earth, easy to talk to & get along with, & he is super responsive to any requests you may have. His direction is clear & not over done. He doesn't pose you like a mannequin, but directs you just enough so that your photos come out well yet realistic. He was an absolute pleasure to work with; the perfect balance of fun and professional. Really allowed us to open up & feel comfortable which makes for better photos. We received our preview very quickly which allowed us to create our wedding website in a timely manner while waiting for the full set. He was pretty responsive via text & was honest about the timing of things which was super appreciated especially when editing photos definitely takes some time. Overall excellent experience and I would highly, highly recommend Taylor.

Taylor has captured every special event of mine and my families life. Our engagement, wedding, maternity and Aunt and Uncle's wedding in Lake Tahoe wouldn't have been the same without him. I wouldn't chose anyone else to capture and share those special memories with. His attention to detail is impeccable and makes every photo special. To say he is just a photographer is an understatement, he is a true artist who loves what he does. To me, photos are an investment and one of the only things you have to look back on after the day is done. During the craziness of planning and throwing a wedding you tend to forget the little things that happen and when I look at my engagement, wedding, and maternity photos I get to re-live the day all over again and catch up on anything I may have missed. I honestly never thought a photographer could capture the deep emotions and the elation that I was feeling in a way that would return me in full to that moment every time I looked back an an image, but Taylor can.. and with Every.Single.Image! Taylor has an unmatched personality and professionalism that made our experience with him effortless and wonderful. Having worked with a multitude of photographers over my life time, his level of knowledge and passion for his craft is far beyond anyone I've ever met. My experience with Taylor Mccutchan Photography was amazing. From the consultation, where Taylor showed genuine interest and enthusiasm in the ideas we had for our wedding day, to seeing the actual moments and details he captured in absolute perfection - couldn't have been better. His presence brought such ease and made it feel less like being awkward in front of a camera (just me?) to what felt like hanging out with an old friend. I met Taylor back in school when we shared a photography class. I followed his work for the several years afterwords always impressed with his use of space, lighting, and photographic techniques (such as depth of field, and exposure time). When it came time for my wedding I shopped around for photographers checking their work and their prices. In my opinion Taylor was one of the best deals. For the quality of work received for the price paid I would recommend him to anyone. In fact I recommended Taylor to my brother in law for his wedding and he would agree with the statement. Taylors work captured the emotion, energy, and fun our wedding had and each picture was of a quality worth sharing. Taylor was easy to work with and was capable of anything we asked of him. If you are looking for a photographer, wedding or other, I would highly recommend Taylor. Look at his work, it will speak for itself.

Taylor had done my lady and I's photos during a trip down to Big Sur not too long ago. The location he took our photos in was incredible; the landscape, the color, the evening light - he knew exactly how to bring out the best in all areas. One quality about Taylor that we admired most was his infectious personality and the way he conducted us throughout the session. He has an uncanny ability to open people up to one another... It must have been within the first 10 seconds of the shoot that he had Brittni and I laughing, flirting and joking around - we felt completely comfortable in front of the camera. Reflecting back on the shoot, it never felt like a staged or forced setup. Every aspect just seemed to flow smoothly and efficiently. After receiving the proofs, we couldn't have been happier with what he delivered to us. He captured us in a very uniquely candid way, and because of that, Britt and I will never forget the experience.

Before i even knew i was getting married i had always dreamt of having Taylor as my photographer - he's THAT GOOD. And boy did he deliver... Taylor seriously made our day that much more special! Not only are the pictures phenomenal but he was an absolute blast to have around! I would recommend him to anyone for ANY event and will certainly use him again when i'm in need of a photographer! Taylor McCutchan's photography literally changed my life. The way he captured my wedding day opened my eyes to an entirely new style of photography that I now pursue as a career. That was 6 years ago, but his talent and creativity continue to evolve each year. I am completely blown away by his new images every time I see them.

I'm typically a fairly camera shy person, Taylor made it really easy to get comfortable and not feel awkward while being photographed. He had good direction and original ideas which really turned out great through the lense. All of the photos turned out very flattering and with a very good artistic value. Not only did he capture us digitally, but he used also brought along a film camera which made the moment seem very special. I would recommend Taylor to any of my friends or family and I'm so happy that we were able to have him shooting us. 10 out of 10 experience by a landslide!

We were fortunate enough to have Taylor capture our wedding more than three years ago and our subsequent yearly family photos and I cannot fully express what the moments he has captured mean to us! A photographic experience with Taylor is special, relaxed, filled with laughter and happiness and afterward, you receive these incredible photographs that make you cry with the beauty and exactness that he captured of your love and family bonds! Taylor took my college graduation photos as well as our engagement photos, so having him shoot our wedding was a total no-brainer. I'm a reluctant wedding planner and, while I'm excited to get married, everything about planning has felt like the biggest chore -- with the exception of working with Taylor! His talent is obvious in his work (and all of the endless compliments I get to receive on his behalf from my friends and family!) but it's the following aspects of working with him that warrant 5+ stars: 1. Timely communication - From the very first email correspondence, Taylor was super responsive and a great communicator both in email and over video chat. Getting the answers I need and getting them quickly really helps reduce the anxiety / stress of juggling a dozen different wedding-related vendors / emails etc. 2. Collaborative / great listener - More important than the fast responses, Taylor is a great listener and he leverages his experience to make sure what you're truly concerned about or value most is addressed in a way that works on camera. He also has great insights and provides considerations I hadn't even thought of! 3. Professional & flexible - We've done two engagement shoots with Taylor and for both, he did his research on location and did "recon" work before our session. As such, he was able to use our time effectively and had suggestions on where we should shoot at what time (for best lighting etc) but was super flexible during the actual shoot. He was also really great at giving direction in terms of poses but also letting us just be ourself and capturing beautiful, natural-looking photos. My fiance and I appreciate working with Taylor so much and cannot recommend him enough!

Taylor is amazing. My husband and I first met/saw Taylor's work when he shot a mutual friends wedding last year. His photos are perfection and he is such a great guy. We got to hang out with him in the few days leading up to the wedding and felt like we really made a good friend and were so comfortable with him on the wedding day. Taylor did an unbelievable job photographing our wedding. He has a great eye for not only the people involved in the photos, but also the surrounding environment. His photos really capture pieces of nature as well as moments you want to remember with your partner. Our photos came out absolutely beautiful. He also made sure to capture all the details that were put into the wedding. When you hire him you don't just get the posed family photos. You get artistic versions of your favors, family, shoes, dress, rings, etc. He really has a great eye. So other than his talent, Taylor was also so great throughout the wedding planning process. He was positive, friendly, and supportive. When planning a wedding these attributes in a vendor are invaluable. He was also great with communication. When I emailed, called, or texted he was quick to write me back and answer my questions. I really recommend Taylor to all other brides. He really made it easy on me and the family and did a beautiful job. Taylor's photo package included an engagement photo session as well as all day coverage with an additional photographer.
