Taylor provided me with the absolute best bridal makeup experience. I love doing my makeup, so I had very high expectations about what I wanted to look like on my wedding day. Taylor was extremely professional and listened to my vision and executed it perfectly. She is so kind, arrived EARLY, and did an absolutely amazing job. I cannot recommend Taylor enough!!

Never have I ever felt so beautiful in my life after Taylor doing my wedding makeup! All my girls who got their makeup couldn’t believe how perfect their makeup stayed the whole day! WE DEFINITELY RECOMMEND TAYLOR MILEY MAKEUP!! Our funny story with her is that we shouldn't have checked Facebook the morning of our wedding. She had happened to post a photo shoot from the week before on that morning, and it was saying she was at a different location than our wedding. SHE WAS PROPTLY WAITING AT OUR LOCATION hahah. Even in our panic, she still answered her phone immediately and reassured us that she was there. (We are two brides so she had her work cut out for her) As a person she's great to be around, Her makeup was Fantastic! We looked truly flawless and it lasted all night. Taylor Miley really came through for me on my wedding day. I struggled to find anyone in the area that was available on my wedding day, but the Knot hooked me up with Taylor and I was lucky enough to grab her before that date was taken. She was so bubbly and kind from our first meeting all the way through. The trial session was fun and we laughed a lot. I do not usually wear anything more than mascara, so I needed a lot of help to figure out what I was looking for the day of. She was patient and offered suggestions where I needed them. I initially disregarded her comments about going full glam during the trial, and as it turns out she was completely right! My fiancé said although I looked nice, I didn’t look like myself. Without hesitation, she was on top of the adjustments needed for my day-of look. On the day of she met the bridal party at the venue, setup, and was already working when my tardy butt showed up. She really does a lot of disinfecting for each person she worked with, so I didn’t breakout at all. To top everything off, she made me a bracelet that I ended up wearing the whole wedding day. Working with her was the best, and all of the ladies were impressed with how they looked. I am excited to work with her again. Thank you Taylor Miley!

Taylor was spectacular! She was one of the best parts of my wedding morning!! I last minute asked if she’d stay till after our first look because I could tell I was going to cry! She stayed without hesitation and managed to find us outside in 98 degrees and in less than 10 min got me all glammed up again for the rest of our pictures and wedding day! I am very particular about my makeup and I wanted it to be absolutely perfect for the wedding day. I found Taylor on Facebook in the Sota Brides group and I’m so glad I did. I looked at her photos on Instagram and on her website and I was obsessed! We did my Bridal Preview/Trial on the day of my engagement photos and my makeup turned out absolutely beautiful! From my eye makeup to the amazing brows (my brows have never looked so good) to my skin/face makeup it turned out so perfect. Apart from her amazing talent with makeup she was so prompt in responding to all of my emails, and was so organized. I would say easily the most organized person out of all the vendors I worked with. And that truly was so appreciated. I cannot recommend Taylor enough to any brides or for any special occasions! You won’t regret it.

Taylor is SUCH a talented makeup artist! Her work speaks for itself. I showed her a few of her photos of past brides she's done at my trial and she absolutely captured my vision of what I wanted. She helped me decide on traditional make up vs airbrush and is extremely knowledgeable about the right makeup for your skin. She was so easy to communicate with in person and also via email leading up to my wedding. I loved my makeup at my trial, but she also made me feel comfortable enough to tell her if I wanted something changed. She made me feel SO beautiful on my wedding day and I would hire her over and over again! She also made my mom and my MIL look stunning, which was so fun to see them confident on my wedding day, too. One of my bridesmaids last minute asked if Taylor could apply fake eye lashes for her and Taylor was more than happy to. I'm already trying to think of future events and excuses to get my makeup done by Taylor again. She's worth every penny!

My good friend (Makeup by Mindie) was in our wedding, so we needed another makeup artist for the day. Mindie recommended Taylor to me and she did not disappoint! All the girls said how much they liked their makeup and how good of a job Taylor did. She was so sweet, focused, and did fantastic work! 10/10 book her if you're considering!

Taylor Miley is simply the BEST! She is responsive on her emails and making sure you have all the info you need. She even recommended a good sugar scrub to use leading up to my wedding day. I had a few changes in my bridal party and Taylor was flexible in that. My makeup trial with her was so fun! She made sure I loved everything before I left. I don’t wear a ton of makeup on a daily basis so I wanted a natural look for my wedding and WOW! Taylor knocked it out of the park! My wedding day was 92 and sunny and my makeup did not move once (and I get sweaty)! I got so many compliments on it! Taylor is so kind and down to earth and is amazing at what she does!

Oh my GOSH - where do I begin?! I am extremely particular on my makeup, I do friend's and family's makeup for events, nobody could understand why I would hire someone to do my wedding makeup. Taylor Miley Makeup is why!!!! She exceeded every expectation I had. I've never felt so confident in my life, her attention to detail meant so much, she knows the products she's using inside and out (I've already bought several she's suggested), and she actually listened to my vision and brought it to life. She also did an incredible job on my mom & MIL! I can't say enough good things about Taylor's work, and to top it off she's such a good person and so fun to talk to! I truly will miss our weekley communications, how understanding and accommodating she was with timelines -- she's truly the best. 10/10!

She was great at communication the whole time, even right away before even signing a contract she took time and answered all of my questions quickly. I liked that she brought her own lightning on the day, as we were at a hotel where it probably wouldn't have been optimal without. Very nice and easy to talk! She did an amazing job, my makeup was absolutely perfect!

Taylor was such a GEM! Her talent is phenomenal, I loved how personable she was. From the moment I inquired, to the final touches she hits the mark every time. My bridesmaid and Mother also loved their makeup, it was so great to feel beautiful in our own skin with a little magic makeup. On your wedding day you want to look and feel your very best (which of course entails a lot of moving parts). One very important part, at least to me, was finding the right makeup artist! I thought I had everything all figured out for my makeup for the day of my wedding, until I came across Taylor's work. I was scrolling on Facebook and saw a post of an old co-worker that used Taylor for her makeup, on her wedding day. This old co-worker of mine is very pretty, but when I saw her post after getting her makeup done by Taylor Miley my jaw literally dropped. MY GOODNESS, what talent!! I instantly knew that the plan I thought I had, was gone and out the window. This was what I wanted. I immediately reached out to Taylor, while simultaneously praying that she wasn't already booked for our wedding day! To my thankful surprise she wasn't. From the first email exchange I had with Taylor to the very last, she was very professional, punctual and personable. Not to mention- Taylor is incredibly talented and truly a gem of a person. For my wedding day, Taylor did makeup for me (22), my mom (51) and my mother in law (60). That is a 38 year age gap between my mother in law and I!!! And I think we both looked incredible... It's one thing for a makeup artist to be good at makeup on young and smooth skin, but it's a whole other to be good at makeup on more aged and textured skin. I think it goes without saying that Taylor is pretty good at what she does if she can make both a 22 year old and 60 year old look absolutely flawless... that takes talent! I would also like to add that by flawless, I don't mean caked with makeup and a totally different look than your normal self... I mean truly, remarkably enhanced natural beauty. Taylor also provided me with many helpful tips and tricks for preparing my skin for the wedding day which goes above and beyond her job. Taylor has thought of every single detail to truly provide you with the best service. She also offers a variety of optional services that I never would have even thought of, that I was SO thankful and happy she did! A few examples of additional services Taylor offers are body foundation (for any imperfections below the face) and cooling under eye gels (in case you have bags under your eyes the morning of) life saver, am I right? All in all, my whole experience with Taylor Miley was absolutely fantastic and truly better than I could have ever asked for! If I had to do it all over again, 1000x over, I would choose Taylor again to do my makeup. You would be one lucky bride to have the opportunity to work with Taylor Miley, and surely it won't be one to pass up.

Where do I even begin? Taylor is a TRUE ARTIST. She has mastered all aspects of what brides look for in a makeup professional. I first met Taylor when she perfected my maid of honor natural look at my sister's wedding. What really pulls you to Taylor when you meet her is how passionate she is about her job. She is relatable, caring, and follows her intuition by actually listening to her clients and picking up on social cues. Another huge consideration that goes underappreciated in the bridal makeup industry is the quality of brands Taylor reaches for in her makeup toolkit. If you care about premium products and cleaner beauty that will be on your face, pictured ~ 1,893 times that day, it is easy to see how much time Taylor has spent to invest in YOU for one of the biggest days of your life. Immediately when it came time for my wedding and setting the date, Taylor was one of the first vendors I reached for. (TBH, I sent her a couple dates. If she would have not been available, that would have been a BIG factor to change it. I am that serious, you need her!!) We set up the bridal trial and firmed in the details. Based on the amount of people, she determined that a second artist was wise for timelines. She took it on to get a secondary artist and put me in contact. Closer to the date, due to pregnancy/covid concerns the second artist could no longer make it. Once again, she reached for her address book to try and enlist more help! The level of care was immaculate. For the Bridal Trial, we traveled to her studio to finalize details before my wedding. The unexpected things were the extras offered like lashes, sample kits, and tips for skin before your wedding. The lashes I opted for were the higher quality multi-use and I was so glad I purchased them. (Seriously spring for this upgrade.) After your trial, it is SO important to see how your makeup lasts for the remainder of the day. I took pictures and consulted with Taylor. We noticed and agreed my concealer was applied too generously on certain areas. The eyeshadow colors were beautiful but, not what I was visioning for my Hollywood glam look. I requested if she could recreate something similar to my MOH look at my sister's wedding. She is such a rock star and kept notes from eyeshadows she used that day. (Which was ~1.5 years before!) On the big day, she ABSOLUTELY NAILED IT. The vibe I was going for was Hollywood Glam. The final creation was a shimmering, light and bright tone with dramatic lashes and liner. The amount of compliments on how natural and well the makeup stayed into the evening had me on cloud 10. Taylor transformed to be an underestimated and huge MVP of a girl's big day. She also transformed to be a friend and someone I enjoy watching build her career as a force in the Midwest wedding industry. Please put a huge emphasis on picking a quality makeup vendor and 1,000,000% book Taylor if you are lucky enough to catch her availability! (LOVE YOU TAYLOR!!)

One of the best decisions I made for my wedding was choosing Taylor for makeup! I’ve honestly never felt so beautiful. My makeup and the bridesmaids’ makeup also stayed all night, well past the end of the reception! She was perfectly professional but also super down to earth and relaxed. I was able to joke around and chit chat the entire time like I was hanging out with a friend. If I could give 10 stars I would!

If I did one thing right for my wedding, it was hiring Taylor to knock it out of the park on makeup. She is an absolute perfectionist, but in the way you want your MUA to be on your wedding day. Historically, I have not enjoyed getting my makeup done because it always feels like way too much on my face. Taylor listened to what I wanted and DELIVERED. Not only that, and almost more importantly, Taylor is an incredibly kind and calming presence on what can be a very chaotic day. I would hire her again and again.

Taylor was AMAZING. I’ve never gotten my makeup professionally done before & she’s blew it out of the park! My jaw dropped at my trial & some how she made it even better on my wedding day!
