Even in our panic, she still answered her phone immediately and reassured us that she was there. (We are two brides so she had her work cut out for her) As a person she's great to be around, Her makeup was Fantastic! We looked truly flawless and it lasted all night. We had many compliments and we couldn't have asked for a better turnout!

I do not usually wear anything more than mascara, so I needed a lot of help to figure out what I was looking for the day of. She was patient and offered suggestions where I needed them. Without hesitation, she was on top of the adjustments needed for my day-of look. On the day of she met the bridal party at the venue, setup, and was already working when my tardy butt showed up. She really does a lot of disinfecting for each person she worked with, so I didn’t breakout at all. To top everything off, she made me a bracelet that I ended up wearing the whole wedding day. From my eye makeup to the amazing brows (my brows have never looked so good) to my skin/face makeup it turned out so perfect. She was so easy to communicate with in person and also via email leading up to my wedding. I loved my makeup at my trial, but she also made me feel comfortable enough to tell her if I wanted something changed. She made me feel SO beautiful on my wedding day and I would hire her over and over again! She also made my mom and my MIL look stunning, which was so fun to see them confident on my wedding day, too. One of my bridesmaids last minute asked if Taylor could apply fake eye lashes for her and Taylor was more than happy to. I'm already trying to think of future events and excuses to get my makeup done by Taylor again. She's worth every penny!

I don’t wear a ton of makeup on a daily basis so I wanted a natural look for my wedding and WOW! Taylor knocked it out of the park! My wedding day was 92 and sunny and my makeup did not move once (and I get sweaty)! I got so many compliments on it! Taylor is so kind and down to earth and is amazing at what she does!

artist! I thought I had everything all figured out for my makeup for the day of my wedding, until I came across Taylor's work. I was scrolling on Facebook and saw a post of an old co-worker that used Taylor for her makeup, on her wedding day. This old co-worker of mine is very pretty, but when I saw her post after getting her makeup done by Taylor Miley my jaw literally dropped. MY GOODNESS, what talent!! I instantly knew that the plan I thought I had, was gone and out the window. This was what I wanted. I immediately reached out to Taylor, while simultaneously praying that she wasn't already booked for our wedding day! To my thankful surprise she wasn't. From the first email exchange I had with Taylor to the very last, she was very professional, punctual and personable. Not to mention- Taylor is incredibly talented and truly a gem of a person. For my wedding day, Taylor did makeup for me (22), my mom (51) and my mother in law (60). That is a 38 year age gap between my mother in law and I!!! And I think we both looked incredible... It's one thing for a makeup artist to be good at makeup on young and smooth skin, but it's a whole other to be good at makeup on more aged and textured skin. I think it goes without saying that Taylor is pretty good at what she does if she can make both a 22 year old and 60 year old look absolutely flawless... that takes talent! I would also like to add that by flawless, I don't mean caked with makeup and a totally different look than your normal self... I mean truly, remarkably enhanced natural beauty. Taylor also provided me with many helpful tips and tricks for preparing my skin for the wedding day which goes above and beyond her job. Taylor has thought of every single detail to truly provide you with the best service. She also offers a variety of optional services that I never would have even thought of, that I was SO thankful and happy she did! A few examples of additional services Taylor offers are body foundation (for any imperfections below the face) and cooling under eye gels (in case you have bags under your eyes the morning of) life saver, am I right? All in all, my whole experience with Taylor Miley was absolutely fantastic and truly better than I could have ever asked for! If I had to do it all over again, 1000x over, I would choose Taylor again to do my makeup. You would be one lucky bride to have the opportunity to work with Taylor Miley, and surely it won't be one to pass up.

She is relatable, caring, and follows her intuition by actually listening to her clients and picking up on social cues. Another huge consideration that goes underappreciated in the bridal makeup industry is the quality of brands Taylor reaches for in her makeup toolkit. If you care about premium products and cleaner beauty that will be on your face, pictured ~ 1,893 times that day, it is easy to see how much time Taylor has spent to invest in YOU for one of the biggest days of your life. Immediately when it came time for my wedding and setting the date, Taylor was one of the first vendors I reached for. (TBH, I sent her a couple dates. If she would have not been available, that would have been a BIG factor to change it. I am that serious, you need her!!) We set up the bridal trial and firmed in the details. Based on the amount of people, she determined that a second artist was wise for timelines. She took it on to get a secondary artist and put me in contact. Closer to the date, due to pregnancy/covid concerns the second artist could no longer make it. Once again, she reached for her address book to try and enlist more help! The level of care was immaculate. For the Bridal Trial, we traveled to her studio to finalize details before my wedding. The unexpected things were the extras offered like lashes, sample kits, and tips for skin before your wedding. The lashes I opted for were the higher quality multi-use and I was so glad I purchased them. (Seriously spring for this upgrade.) After your trial, it is SO important to see how your makeup lasts for the remainder of the day. I took pictures and consulted with Taylor. We noticed and agreed my concealer was applied too generously on certain areas. The eyeshadow colors were beautiful but, not what I was visioning for my Hollywood glam look. I requested if she could recreate something similar to my MOH look at my sister's wedding. She is such a rock star and kept notes from eyeshadows she used that day. (Which was ~1.5 years before!) On the big day, she ABSOLUTELY NAILED IT. The vibe I was going for was Hollywood Glam. The final creation was a shimmering, light and bright tone with dramatic lashes and liner. The amount of compliments on how natural and well the makeup stayed into the evening had me on cloud 10. Taylor transformed to be an underestimated and huge MVP of a girl's big day. She also transformed to be a friend and someone I enjoy watching build her career as a force in the Midwest wedding industry. Please put a huge emphasis on picking a quality makeup vendor and 1,000,000% book Taylor if you are lucky enough to catch her availability! (LOVE YOU TAYLOR!!)
