Taylor grew up in a large family of artists living in Southeast Missouri. She has always had a keen interest in weddings, and when she found a passion for photography, these interests made a natural fit. After graduating from Southeast Missouri State University in 2016 with a degree in commercial photography, this artist immediately started Taylor Myers Photography. Her photography style combines elements of candids, documentary, and dynamic posing to create imagery that is both fun and timeless. Taylor Myers Photography offers wedding day coverage as well as engagement sessions, rehearsals, portraiture, and day-after sessions. Taylor is also willing to travel for destination weddings. Simply put - we LOVED Taylor!! From the moment we hopped on a call to chat with her, we knew she was the one we wanted to photograph our special day. She felt like a friend automatically and made the pictures so easy and beautiful. She was easy to communicate with, and worked well with the two of us, who hate being in front of cameras. We got the sneak peak back within a week and already love the images. We cant wait for the rest of them to be ready! We would recommend Taylor 1000 times over again and will likely use her for minis or other things in the future.

Where do I even begin? Taylor is not only an incredible photographer, but a one in a million human. From the first conversation when my husband and I were searching for a wedding photographer, to the day of, Taylor was nothing but kind, informative, and exceptional. She was timely with her responses and did not pressure us into choosing anything we weren't comfortable with. She is completely understanding of inspiration, goals, and budgets for whatever your special day it. Taylor captured our engagement photos and wedding photos so beautifully that I now get to look back on every photo and remember the perfect day as authentically as it was. She handled my wedding day anxiety like an absolute professional and made standing in front of a camera go from the scariest thing in the world to something fun and exciting. I will forever treasure the memories she captured, and would not recommend ANYONE but Taylor Myers Photography. I cannot thank her enough for her work, and am so spoiled that we were lucky enough to be one of her couples for 2024. You will not regret booking Taylor!! I would never ever do a wedding without taylor. Ever. Our photographer was one of the most important things to me because I love pictures. I loved the moments that Taylor captured when we were first looking into finding someone to photograph our big day. I knew from our first phone call that she was the one. she was fun and professional. an absolute joy and perfect addition. If we're honest, the pictures speak for themselves. she is just fantastic.

Exceptional. Creative. Professional. THE BEST! Hire Taylor for your wedding day. I cannot say enough positive things about Taylor and her wedding photography. From the go Taylor was incredibly professional and easy to work with. We had a initial Zoom meeting to discuss what I was looking for in a photographer and from the start, I knew she was who I would hire to capture our day. Upon meeting her for our Engagement session, she was prompt, prepared, and efficient in capturing some great shots. THE WEDDING DAY I hired Taylor because I wanted someone who would be able to capture the authenticity of the moments rather than posed photos (which she rocks at too). I gave Taylor my vision for the photos: dreamy, soft, intimate, magical, and ethereal. She nailed it. She was there exactly when she said she would be, ready to go with her second shooter in tow. They immediately got to work capturing my girls and I getting ready. Once it was time for the first look, so facilitated this perfectly. We quickly moved to different locations for our portraits together. I told her I wanted this to feel natural, not posed, and she made sure that happened. I cannot express enough how amazed I am by these photos. They look like they belong in a fairytale. After getting the best moments of the ceremony, we snuck back out to get "Golden Hour" photos, and once again she nailed it. I had specific ideas for this, and we got every shot I wanted. Taylor did fantastic with staying with my desired concepts of documentary style, magical and ethereal, and soft and intimate. Every single photo is incredible. I have the best problem because I have too many amazing photos to chose from. Taylor also offers the creation of a photo album: something I wouldn't do for myself so I was more than happy to pay for this! I am beyond happy with my photos, and I cannot expressive enough gratitude for how well she was able to capture the essence of my wedding day. Please do yourself the greatest favor and hire her.

Taylor was the very first vendor we booked for our wedding in June 2024. After our initial call, my husband and I knew immediately she was the photographer we wanted to use. Her friendly personality made her very easy to work with. She took both our engagement and wedding photos and we couldn't be more pleased! Before our wedding day, Taylor sent me a package with chocolates, stickers, and a customized embroidery hoop. I was so touched by her thoughtfulness! I highly recommend her!

Taylor is phenomenal in every way! She helped coordinate the day, ensure everything flowed smoothly, and of course captured the most gorgeous photos! She made sure to document every aspect of the day, every emotion, and the photos were edited beautifully. Capturing your wedding day is a huge task, and Taylor is the gal to trust! Taylor made my engagement and wedding season prefect. From the first phone call all the way to my wedding date. She is so professional and knowledgeable about all things weddings. She helped me with other vendors and was there to answer all my questions. Our engagement photos and wedding photos were beautiful, we received so many compliments about our photos. She was very fast with editing. We got to see a sneak peek the day after with about 50 photos that were edited beautifully. She is amazing and very thoughtful about everything. Ultimately we ended up going a different route solely based on a brighter editing look but I wanted to share what a wonderful experience I had talking with Taylor through the wedding planning process. She is incredibly responsive and thorough in answering any questions. It was obvious during our video consultations that she has a warm personality that would allow her to seamlessly insert herself in your wedding day and make you feel comfortable. Her editorial, artistic photos are beautiful and help tell the story of your day. We found her pricing to be very fair and reasonable. Although we ended up going a different route, I would highly consider her for future photography needs.

Taylor Myers Photography is incredible in every way. Taylor is an absolute delight to work with. She becomes your friend through out the process of planning your dream photos and helps with every detail even down to your event run of show. We had the pleasure of working with her for our engagement and wedding photos and they turned out PERFECT. She gives great direction and also helps your dream poses come to life. She was also always communicative and available whenever we needed anything. She responds quickly and efficiently and is so professional. We were so impressed with every aspect of Taylor’s business. In our package, she included a second photographer and at the last minute they weren’t able to make it and she quickly jumped into action and got a second photographer just in time and it turned out perfect. Taylor was completely amazing while capturing our special moments! We had a non traditional/small and intimate wedding on a Monday afternoon. We also only planned the wedding in about 4 months. Taylor never thought twice when we asked her to capture our day and made it all possible just for us! I also cannot say enough about how beautiful these images turned out! Her use of light and posing were incredible and she made us feel such at ease the entire day! I will continue to use Taylor to capture all of our future memories!

Taylor was an excellent photographer. From planning, to the engagement session and finally the wedding she was easy to contact and more than a dream to work with giving us direction and allowing us to include our pup in our engagement session. When planning our wedding, we knew we were going to be extremely picky when choosing our photographer. We studied the portfolios of literally every wedding photographer in the area and Taylor's work not only stood out as being the exact style we wanted, but also extremely professional and consistently high quality. Our engagement session was a wonderful experience and it was abundantly clear to us that we had made the right decision in choosing her for our wedding. She was very thorough and organized in planning for the wedding, making sure that we got every shot that we wanted, covering all the events of the day, and leaving nothing to chance. Aside from a few small special requests, we ultimately decided to trust Taylor's professional judgement and experience, and gave her carte blanche to work her magic. The results are magnificent and we couldn't be happier with the whole process, from start to finish. We recommend her with the highest level of praise possible.

Taylor is the BEST! She takes amazing photos, and has a knack for making photos look natural and stunning at the same time. She is also laid back, flexible, and just lovely to be around. She knows how to make things fun and relaxing which is extremely important on a very happy but very stressful day. We had a great time with her, and so did our bridal party and families. You can tell she loves what she does, which made me happy. She also gave us perfect photos of our reception which was in a dark planetarium; I am sure that was difficult and she executed it perfectly.

Taylor was great!! She was always there to answer any questions we had, she made us feel so so comfortable in front of the camera - helping us with poses and giving us breaks when our smiles were starting to give us cheek-ache! (It happens!!). She ticked off every photo we wanted and made sure we had no extras to add in - even accommodating family requests! She was on time, courteous and really fun! There are way too many people who think they are photographers just because they have a camera. Taylor is not one of those people. Wedding photography is something that is very important. We knew we didn’t want just anyone to be our wedding photographer. After all, a wedding day is not something that can be reshot if the photos don’t turn out right. After spending weeks reviewing the portfolios of many wedding photographers, we couldn’t find any photographer that we both liked. But when we saw Taylor’s portfolio of wedding photos, we both instantly felt like we had found someone we could both trust to capture our wedding day. The framing of each photo, the exposure, the depth of field, the lighting, the subject matter – everything seemed perfectly thought out. On the day of our wedding, Taylor arrived on time, as did her second shooter, who was just as professional and kind as she was. Taylor had all of her gear prepared and ready to go when she arrived. She wasted no time and went right to work. Our families and friends were very complimentary of how nice and professional Taylor was. Taylor went out of her way to get the best photos at the best angle, even standing on narrow balcony rails and standing within 6 feet of a fast-moving railroad train to get perfect photographs. She has a creative eye for photography. The worst part about Taylor is that all her photos are so good, which makes it difficult to decide which ones to print and have framed. She’s great!

Taylor was great. She came to my house in Cape to walk through the entire wedding day with me. From getting ready, to first look, to all our wedding party photos we knew exactly where we needed to be. There was no guess work the day of. Taylor is an amazing photographer, you can tell from working with her that she is passionate about what she does! She photographed both my engagement and wedding photos and was an absolute joy to work with. She is very detailed oriented, patient, and has an eye for getting those perfect pictures! I also loved that she was local, fair priced, and easy to contact when questions arised! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding photographer. Taylor is amazing and was so easy to work with, both before my wedding and on the big day. We met prior to my wedding to talk about what I was wanting, photos I just had to have, and for her to learn about me and my fiancé. On my wedding day she kept everyone on schedule and things flowed so easily. She got all the shots I wanted but also ones I didn't know I wanted. After getting my photos of the wedding from her I was so happy with the photos and the way she captured the love between my husband and I and the candid moments that made the day so special.

Taylor did an absolutely amazing job at our wedding! She was just starting out with her photography business. She didn't have a ton of weddings under her belt yet so we had her as an extra photographer to help capture our special day and give her more experience for becoming a wedding photographer. We were expecting some good photos from her but we were so overwhelmed with how great she did! I wish we would have used her more throughout our special day now. Her professionalism is on point and her eye for a perfect photograph is astonishing! I would recommend her any day!
