When I began to research wedding planners after our engagement, I was dismayed by how much of a focus some planners placed on design and aesthetics, rather than organization and logistics. But from my first conversation with Rae, I knew she would be able to achieve both. And she did! Rae created an absolutely beautiful vision for our wedding, but more importantly, she ensured our event flowed seamlessly from start to finish. Things were perfectly organized; everyone knew where to go and when. There was absolutely no chaos or disorganization, which made for a truly enjoyable day. Simultaneously, Rae ensured that our design vision was executed exactly as we agreed.
One of Rae's best qualities is her ability to actively listen and provide honest feedback. Rae took detailed notes during every meeting and listened carefully to my husband's and my wishes. Equally, she did not shy away from providing honest feedback and highlighting blind spots in our thinking. Her comments always reflected a breadth of experience and consideration for our core preferences. She guided us along, ensuring nothing would negatively impact our day. We truly appreciated her candid advice.
Another benefit of working with Rae is her top-notch vendor recommendations and local intel. My husband and I were planning an out-of-town wedding, so Rae truly felt like our "boots on the ground". She referred us to the absolute best vendors -- our guests are still gushing over the food, drinks, decor, and music -- and served as our advocate to ensure we got exactly what we wanted.
Lastly, I would be remiss if I did not mention that, three days before our (fully outdoor) wedding, the chance of thunderstorms was 90%. My husband and I were stressed and dejected. However, after a few phone calls with Rae, we were immediately put at ease. She presented us with multiple "Plan B" options and worked with us to put an emergency plan in place based on our preferences. At the 11th hour, the forecast turned and the storm held out. However, Rae had skillfully planned for both scenarios and was prepared to execute either Plan A *or* our discussed Plan B. She was truly a lifesaver.

olutely the best decision I made booking Taylor as my coordinator. I had no idea what I was doing, and Taylor organized all the decisions and info I had into something that made sense. There was a little craziness with the venue, and she kept in communication with me, and calm, and made sure all went well. And it did. The wedding went fantastically! She also had patience with the silliness of our families and dealt with all the personalities wonderfully. I could not recommend Taylor and Taylor Rae Events more.

On the day of the wedding, she navigated all the logistics seamlessly and put out any “fires” that developed efficiently. I had several requests for how the room was to be set up, and she not only took down my instructions, but executed my vision perfectly. Rae is also one of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet. She genuinely cared about us and our wedding day. I felt like she was treating our wedding like it was her own event. thout any ounce of doubt that it was the best decision we made throughout the wedding planning process. Taylor and Rae treated our wedding with a level of detail synonymous with perfection.
It may sound dramatic, but it’s not an exaggeration – we literally would not have made it down the aisle without the help of Taylor Rae Events. We planned an outdoor ceremony and reception, but as the weekend approached the weather did not cooperate. And, just as our wedding guests were arriving in town for the weekend, Taylor and Rae went into life-saver mode and re-designed our outdoor ceremony to be weather-friendly, and moved our outdoor garden reception inside. They suggested and coordinated tons of last minute changes with our vendors – addition of lights to add to aesthetic of indoor space, furniture changes, ceremony flow changes, and plenty more! … What could have resulted in full meltdown mode on my end, didn’t because we trusted Taylor and Rae with the decision making and we were confident that our day would still be beautiful, despite the last minute changes. With their help we were able to fully enjoy the weekend with our friends and family.
Not only did they save our wedding day, but they made the planning process and day-of execution seamless. They were prompt with communication, professional, and genuinely excited to be helping us plan and perfect our day! o downsize the ceremony and reception as a result of the pandemic. Rae was nothing less than accommodating to the new plans, offering excellent advice on how to make the more intimate day very special. She was also last-minute lifesaver, quickly locating market lights, when one of our vendors fell through less than 48 hours before the wedding. The day of, Rae coordinated a perfect day, working well with all our vendors, allowing us to take in the moments we will not soon forget.

I handled most things up til the month of, and Taylor took over from there to coordinate with all 9 vendors and make sure everyone was on the same page. money that I could do myself or have someone else perform as a courtesy. I. WAS. WRONG. I came across Taylor and Rae due to their close relationship with my wedding venue. Rae was assigned to my husband and me, and it was a perfect match. She and her team understood our vision, helped bring it to life, and managed every mini meltdown that popped up, from a category 5 hurricane threatening our date, to a broken maid-of-honor shoe five minutes before our ceremony, to minor issues with the caterer. Rae was always communicative, easy to talk with, and she was always available for texts and e-mails. We chose the month-of package, and were glad we did. She was available to us throughout the process even though we chose a middle-of-the-road package, but really shined in the last month. For someone like me who likes to take control, it was nice to have someone who beat me to it. I would totally recommend Taylor Rae Events to anyone as cynical about the process as me. Taylor Rae took care of details in my wedding that I didn’t even know were as issue (that’s a true sign of a great coordinator!) working with Taylor was an absolute breeze. I consider myself pretty detail-oriented, but when I sat with Taylor as we tried to nail down every single detail and alternative solutions, she brought up things that I otherwise wouldn’t have even considered. I love how transparent Taylor Rae is as a company and as human beings. You can tell that they genuinely care about the couple sitting on front of them and will do whatever it takes to make sure their day is positively memorable.

nt above and beyond! My mother-in-law ended up in the hospital one week before our wedding. It was very serious. My now-husband and I were frantic. On top of worrying about her health and her life, I started stressing about the wedding and wanted to make sure I had all the information to make a decision should the time come we needed to cancel or postpone. I emailed Rachael and she texted me within a few minutes. Within a few hours she had gotten in contact with all my vendors and gathered all necessary information needed to let us know how much money we would lose if we needed to postpone or cancel. By the next day she had gotten in touch with all of our vendors (except the hotel but they were not returning phone calls or emails from anyone). Because of Rachael, my husband and I were able to focus on my mother-in-law’s health and care plan. Not a single ounce of stress was wasted on wedding plans. Rachael saved our sanity and let us focus on what really matters— family. Fast forward, things worked out and we did not have to cancel or postpone (my mother-in-law was not able to be present but she was getting better in the hospital and we were even able to have a ceremony in her ICU room). The day of our wedding Rachael was amazing. I got to be a relaxed bride only focusing on my hair, makeup, girlfriends and mimosas!!!! I highly, highly recommend her. She is down to earth, organized and knows exactly what she is doing and goes out of her way to make sure not only is your wedding day exactly what you want it to be, but also the days and planning leading up to your wedding!

ng in Lake Mary, so much of our planning had to be done long distance or on the weekend.
We hired Taylor as a day-of coordinator, but you get SO MUCH MORE than that. From the moment we signed the contract, Taylor treated us as if we were her top priority. She was available for unlimited emails, called vendors when I was overwhelmed/frustrated, looked over vendor contracts, and even proofread my wedding invites.
Then, 30 days out, she took complete control – which was AMAZING! Taylor coordinated timelines with all vendors (SPOILER ALERT – all your vendors will have their own timelines, and it can be a little confusing/frustrating to try and coordinate between them…Dandy Details will take that frustration away and fix everything!) She sent me multiple revisions of our day-of timeline and had me approve it prior to sending it all vendors. Her day-of timeline is amazing…it was practically 10 pages long and super detailed.
Another HUGE thing Taylor did for us was do our final walkthrough of our reception venue for us. The walkthrough was scheduled for the week after Hurricane Irma. Due to bad traffic, Chris and I didn’t get to the venue until 5:20 (it closed at 6 and we were supposed to be there at 4). I called Taylor while we were on the highway to let her know what was happening. She immediately began working with my venue to do the walkthrough, including choosing our colors (we had previously talked about color schemes on the phone), layout of tables, where to put the guestbook, etc. When we arrived, all we had to do was walk the venue with her and approve everything (everything she chose was perfect!)
When it came to the rehearsal and wedding days, Taylor made everything perfect and stress-free. She was amazing on how she upheld what Chris and I wanted for the ceremony while still being super respectful to the church’s wedding coordinator. During our wedding, Taylor was there as well as her second-in-command, Omar. We loved both of them. Even though it was the first time meeting Omar, he was instantly like family. I never “saw” either of them, but when we needed them, they were always there. They did all the reception / ceremony setup and break down (we brought all our stuff, like the guest book, centerpieces, etc., to her at the rehearsal). All Chris and I had to do was get ready and enjoy being with our bridal party. Taylor even set up a “room reveal” for us so we could see the reception venue prior to everyone else! I felt like we were in one of those wedding shows on TV. :)
Throughout the night Taylor and Omar helped with everything. They helped with my bustle, found Advil for Chris, fixed a last minute light that broke on a centerpiece, made sure we ate (and even brought us our appetizers and drinks at certain points!), made sure we were always on time….and so much more.
It was really spectacular. I wasn’t stressed on my wedding day at all. All my vendors knew exactly what they needed to be doing because of Dandy Details and we could enjoy the reception without managing all our vendors or watching the clock.
I am so glad we hired Taylor and Omar. If you want a stress-free wedding day, hire them – you’ll be so glad you did.

We hired her about a month before the big day and she was very hands on. We had a phone consultation and it turned out that since we had already planned everything on our own, she was able to knock off a few hundred bucks. She still took the helm and kept in contact with our vendors, set up a great timeline, and communicated with our DJ all evening for cues and stuff during the reception.
I don't think anyone could have done a better job at making sure our day of stuff went off without a hitch. We had lots of things that had to be moved from the ceremony to reception and she made sure it All happened on time and to a T. She even took care of getting all of our decorations the day before the wedding and placed them around the venue perfectly, without much insight from us.
All in all, we couldn't have been happier that we chose Dandy Details to make sure that everything went smoothly. I highly recommend them and Taylor was a joy to work with.
