r your services, you can ask ME how the service was. Everything was handled with being reimbursed and email exchanges. But, I just couldn't let it go. I wrote in the email to Mitch that because he's reimbursing us, I'll take down the Google review. You'd like I would get a "Thank you" as a reply. No. I did not. What a joke. I am severely disappointed in Taylored Weddings. Our ceremony was beautiful. There was no issues with that. But, Kaylene depended on her DJ assistant too much to the point where the DJ assistant was playing the wrong songs and music volume was increasing for no reason, and Kaylene was off doing whatever she was doing. I barely saw Kaylene playing the music. It's quite the ghastly excuse in telling us that it's good practice for her. Well, this is OUR wedding. SHOW her what to do! My husband and I were told it was going to be stress-free in planning. I filled out the ENTIRE planning form myself during the weeknights and weekends when I wasn't working full time. After all the details I typed in the planning form, Kaylene still couldn't understand. I typed everything out in perfect and thorough detail and she still screwed up. Our wedding game was never played, the wedding party dance was never played, and Kaylene put so much pressure on ME to make decisions. I thought all that money we paid for was for HER to make decisions and plan it smoothly for us? When we got to our reception site, she was asking me a bunch of questions putting pressure on me. Not only that, but my guests were pressuring my husband and I. It was an absolute mess. So what if not everyone showed? At least start the reception! It didn't MATTER! Kaylene putting pressure on us was unnecessary and it was stressful. Kaylene also was acting "strung up" in a way. She was pressuring me to do the Father-Daughter dance but my dad had to take my mom to the bathroom (she was in a wheelchair). I felt Kaylene was disrespectful because SHE wanted to get the dances going but my moms needs came first. So she put me in an awkward position in front of my guests. She then proceeded to say "Heather will ask her mother-in-law for a dance." I never felt so embarrassed. My husband I stood there looking at her like "WHAT?" We paid all this money and put our trust in this company to give us an exciting experience but it was shit. The ceremony was lovely but the reception was shit. We didn't get to play the games or dance with our head table. What a shame. Mitch, next time, don't hire people who knows the couples' family. This is the end result. It was shit. Also, I wished for a "Thank you" from you after I kindly removed my Google review. But to hell with it. If you aren't to practice a good business model, then I won't be a respectful former client. I'm definitely NOT hiring Taylored Weddings again. And I don't recommend them to anyone. I've also started telling loved ones not to hire TD. What a disgrace. All this money for a shit show. Again, what a shame.

ays left us feeling confident about what we were getting. Mitch also came in clutch with an available minister after I accidentally almost forgot to hire one! On the big day, our minister Kaylene and our DJ Kaylee came to our rescue in a big way after our venue staff refused to do their jobs. The ceremony was fantastic and went exactly as planned, dinner was almost a disaster. Kaylee and Kaylene ran around filling ice water at guest tables and even offered to start bussing tables at one point! Kaylene took charge of the whole mess and allowed me (the bride) to stay calm and collected in front of our guests. They both went above and beyond what was expected of their services and really did save the day! We are beyond lucky to have been working with such a great team.

er that Mitch was there 2 days before our wedding for over an hour assisting with the set up of the venue to ensure the most optimal placement of the DJ and photo booth. I was blown away that he went the extra mile to do this. Kaylene was our master of ceremonies. She was professional and fun to work with. She kept us on task which was much needed and was able to truly make our day special. Kaylene is easy going and makes you feel comfortable right off the bat. Simon was our DJ, he kept the party going with a great selection of music and did a fantastic job. One of my fears was my guests would not dance and this was not an issue at all. Everyone at Taylored weddings made the planning and day of completely stress free. You can tell they truly enjoy what they do and want your day to be perfect. They are worth every penny and we highly recommend them.
