In a quick, historical nutshell, I have been spinning tunes for 40 years and wedding receptions are a specialty of mine that I absolutely LOVE doing!! I'm the type of DJ who gets involved with your crowd and loves to see them dance! I also can help you line up your reception from beginning to end via my Reception Timeline. I use my Timeline as a general guide for the reception, outlining approximate times of events that will take place along with the songs and/or people that will be involved with each. I can work with you to get the timeline completed either by telephone, email or in person if you wish. With the Timeline will also come my Reception Questionnaire, which contains a bit more information outside of the Timeline that I like to have in order to piece together the "mental" image of how your reception will run. I can also accommodate running sound for a wedding ceremony as well. If you would need Ceremony sound, please be sure to let me know, as that is a different contract and there is an additional Ceremony Timeline that would go along with a ceremony. I carry a complete digital library that spans the 1950's to current Top 40 tunes of today. I also subscribe "Content Unlimited" online music service, which makes it very difficult for someone to request a song that I wouldn't have in the library, as I am able to search the song through the service and, almost immediately, have it in the library! As far as equipment goes, it is all commercial equipment, 4 set ups deep, so, there is not a worry for you that an equipment failure would put your ceremony and/or reception in danger. Dance floor lighting is also a part of the package. If you have any specific questions, I sure don't mind answering them at all!
